Long-time owners Athol and Lee Davis sold the pub and accommodation venue to hoteliers Kent and Desley Walker, according to a story reproduced in a Today Statement search result dated October 1, 2026.

Hoteliers Kent and Desley Walker bought the hotel from Athol and Lee Davis, who had owned it for three decades, according to the reported story. The sale was advised by HTL Property’s Andrew Jolliffe and Dan Dragicevich.
“The North Sydney Hotel has been such a central part of mine, and my wife Lee’s life over the past three decades, and whilst reluctant to let it go, we do so knowing it is in fine hands,” Athol Davis said, as quoted in the report.

The North Sydney Hotel is at 292 Miller Street, opposite North Sydney Oval. The report gives the site area as 1,201 square metres and describes the venue as a two-level hotel with 12 recently renovated accommodation rooms and 25 gaming machines.
