SYN Ventures led the round, announced by Mitiga on January 17, 2025. ClearSky, Atlantic Bridge, Flint Capital, DNX Ventures and Glilot Capital Partners also participated, according to Business Wire. SecurityWeek published its report on January 21, 2025.
What does Mitiga’s cloud and SaaS security platform do?
Mitiga describes its product as a threat detection, investigation and response platform for cloud and software-as-a-service environments. Its tools are designed to help organizations identify suspicious activity, investigate incidents using cloud and SaaS data, and coordinate a response.
Forensic data and threat investigation
SecurityWeek describes a forensic data lake for storing and analyzing SaaS data, along with proactive forensic data acquisition and automated threat hunting. These capabilities aim to give security teams data and workflows for investigating activity across cloud services.

The platform also includes automated breach-readiness assessments and cloud incident-response management and orchestration, according to SecurityWeek.
Mitiga says customers can detect, investigate and respond to threats more than 90% faster than with traditional approaches. That figure is a company claim reported by SecurityWeek and Business Wire, not an independently audited performance result.
