Visible’s $400 discount on the Google Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL was reported on May 23, 2025, but it is a historical offer—not a deal shoppers should assume they can claim today. Later Visible terms showed a separate $300 Pixel 9-series promotion requiring a Visible+ Pro annual plan; that offer was listed to end September 30, 2025. As of August 18, 2026, no accessible Visible page verifies an active $400 Pixel 9 Pro promotion.
What the $400 Pixel 9 Pro promotion offered
Droid Life reported that new Visible customers could get $400 off a Google Pixel 9 Pro or Pixel 9 Pro XL by signing up for qualifying Visible service and entering the code DEALTIME. Its May 23, 2025 report described the discount as appearing in the phone checkout, rather than arriving later as wireless-service bill credits. Read the original report.
The exact terms of that $400 campaign should not be conflated with Visible’s later offer. The accessible first-party terms document a subsequent $300 discount on a broader set of Pixel 9-series phones, including the Pixel 9 Pro models. That version required Visible+ Pro annual service and was listed with a September 30, 2025 expiration date. The preserved later terms do not establish that every detail applied identically to the earlier $400 offer.
What the later official offer required
Visible’s later $300 promotion is useful context for the conditions attached to a similar Pixel deal, but it is a distinct campaign. Its terms called for a new Visible membership, an eligible Google device, the Visible+ Pro annual plan, the code DEALTIME entered in My Bag or checkout, and activation of service on the purchased phone. Visible listed the annual plan at $450, charged at checkout, with service beginning upon activation. See Visible’s annual-plan page.

- 128gb of storage
- Includes charging cord and box
- Excellent cosmetic condition
- The later offer was for new members; existing Visible customers should not assume they qualified.
- Gifting did not qualify, and the terms limited the offer to one per person for personal use. The discount was nontransferable, had no cash value, and could be changed or ended by Visible.
- Taxes and fees remained the customer’s responsibility. Device stock, colors and storage configurations could vary.
- The preserved terms said the device offer could not be combined with service discounts. Check the exact terms of any current promotion rather than assuming discounts stack.
Visible’s terms also warn that annual-plan purchases are not refundable after activation. For the later campaign, that made coverage and the suitability of the plan especially important to assess before activating.
How to judge the total cost
A handset discount is not the same as saving that amount on your total phone-and-service spending. To assess the value, use this framework:
Rank #2
- The power behind AI on Google Pixel - Google Tensor G4 is Pixel’s most powerful chip yet. It’s built for advanced AI like Gemini, cutting-edge photos and videos, and smarter ways to help all day.
- Gemini. Your built-in AI assistant - Gemini helps you supercharge your ideas. Hold the power button to start writing, planning, learning, and more.
- Pro-level photos and video - The triple rear camera is the most powerful Pixel Camera ever. Get up close with 30x Super Res Zoom. And it has super sharp, high-res video quality, even in low light and from far away.
- A first for video zoom - Pixel 9 Pro combines a powerful telephoto lens and advanced video processing to give you smooth, high-quality video up to 20x with Super Res Zoom Video.
- Brilliant and bright Super Actua display - With the brightest, most immersive Pixel display yet, you’ll see true-to-life colors, even in sunlight. And it runs up to 120Hz, for smooth gaming and scrolling.
Effective first-year outlay = discounted phone price + annual service payment + taxes and fees − the value of service you would otherwise have bought.
The $450 annual-plan price belongs to the later $300 campaign’s terms; it is not confirmed as the price attached to the original $400 offer. The available sources also do not establish one final phone price across storage tiers, colors or stock. Compare the checkout total for the specific device and plan rather than inferring a universal price from the headline discount.

- Taxes and fees: The discount did not remove applicable taxes and fees.
- Financing: Do not assume the $400 offer allowed the same financing as a different promotion. Visible’s general deal terms describe Affirm financing as subject to eligibility and approval, potentially requiring a down payment, with rates that may range from 0% to 36% APR. Financing changes payment timing, not the amount of the advertised discount.
- Leaving early: If the annual plan is nonrefundable after activation, unused service may not be recoverable if you cancel. Include that risk when comparing an annual prepaid commitment with monthly service.
Who might have benefited—and who might not
Potentially a good fit
- A new customer who already wanted a Pixel 9 Pro or Pro XL and planned to move to Visible.
- Someone who had checked Visible service at home, work and regular travel destinations and was comfortable with its plan features.
- A buyer who preferred prepaid service and could pay the annual charge upfront without sacrificing a more suitable option.
Reasons to look elsewhere
- You already had Visible service and the offer required new-member enrollment.
- You wanted an unlocked phone without a carrier-related purchase condition. The available information does not establish the phone’s lock status, so verify it with Visible before buying if it matters to you.
- You were uncertain about coverage, might need to cancel soon, or needed international roaming beyond what the plan provided.
- You could get a better net price through a trade-in or another current offer. Compare the value after required service costs, not just the largest advertised phone discount.
Visible uses Verizon’s network, but that does not make Visible’s plan identical to Verizon postpaid service. Check coverage at the places you actually use your phone and compare plan features and roaming terms. Visit Visible.
How the checkout process worked
The following sequence reflects the May 2025 report and the later official promotion terms; it is not a claim that the expired offer can still be redeemed.
Rank #4
- The power behind AI on Google Pixel - Google Tensor G4 is Pixel’s most powerful chip yet.
- Open Visible’s phone shop and select an eligible Pixel 9-series model that is in stock.
- Add the required qualifying plan. The later $300 offer specified Visible+ Pro annual service; do not assume that exact requirement was identical for the original $400 campaign.
- Enter
DEALTIMEin the My Bag or checkout field. - Before paying, check that the phone discount appears in the final order summary and review the phone price, plan charge, taxes, fees and any financing terms.
- Activate the qualifying device if required by the offer terms. For an annual plan, review the refund rule and confirm coverage before activation.
If a code does not work or the discount is absent from the final order summary, treat the promotion as unavailable. An old article or cached search result is not proof that Visible will honor an expired offer.

Alternatives to an expired carrier discount
Buy unlocked from Google
A direct purchase from the Google Store is worth comparing if you value an unlocked phone and manufacturer-direct support. Current prices, trade-in values and promotions were not established here, so compare the live checkout total rather than assuming it is cheaper.
Compare current carrier and prepaid offers
Look at the full cost of any current phone offer alongside the service required to receive it. A larger handset discount may be a worse financial choice if it depends on a plan you would not otherwise buy or a commitment that does not fit your needs.
Consider refurbished or pre-owned
If a new Pixel 9 Pro is not essential, compare listings at Back Market. Visible has advertised potential service savings for customers using a Back Market phone, but the amount depends on plan and promotion; it is not a guaranteed handset discount. A refurbished device may not suit someone who prioritizes a new phone, battery condition certainty or the simplest manufacturer-warranty path.
