Anker’s U.S. product page lists model A91C0 at $39.99; an Amazon promotion brought it to $35.99 in August 2024, but that deal is expired. Check Amazon’s live listing and final checkout total before treating $36 as available.
Is the Anker 525 actually $36 on Amazon?
There is not enough current information to call $36 a live Amazon deal. The last confirmed price in the available information is Anker’s direct price of $39.99. A prior Amazon/AnkerDirect promotion reached $35.99 in August 2024 with a coupon or code, but it is marked expired. That history shows the price has happened before; it does not establish today’s Amazon price.
Anker’s product page identifies the station as model A91C0 and lists it at $39.99. Slickdeals’ expired August 2024 listing records the historical $35.99 promotion. A $36 Amazon price would be about $4 below Anker’s listed direct price—not evidence by itself of a large discount from the usual selling price.
To check the offer, open the Amazon listing and confirm the actual seller, selected color, condition, coupon, delivery estimate, and pre-tax checkout total. The available information does not establish the current Amazon seller, color-specific pricing, shipping terms, coupon availability, or reference price. A crossed-out Amazon price should not be treated as a typical price without evidence of what customers recently paid.

What does “7-port” mean?
The Anker 525 has seven total connections: three AC outlets, two USB-C ports, and two USB-A ports. Only four are USB charging ports; it is not a seven-USB-port charger. Anker lists a five-foot cord and flat plug in its product description, but check the live listing to make sure the variant you select matches.
The layout is designed for a desk or nightstand: USB ports are on the front, while AC outlets are at the back. That can keep USB cables accessible and route conventional plugs away from the front of the unit. Its dimensions are 4.61 × 2.52 × 1.73 inches and its listed weight is 18.62 ounces.

How USB-C power is shared
Anker advertises up to 67W from one USB-C port when used alone. That is a maximum for one port, not an output available at full strength from both USB-C ports at once. Anker says the two USB-C ports share about 65W and lists these maximum allocations:
| USB ports in use | Maximum allocation listed by Anker |
|---|---|
| One USB-C | Up to 67W |
| Two USB-C | 45W + 20W, or 30W + 30W |
| One USB-C + one USB-A | 45W + 12W |
| Two USB-A | 15W total |
| Two USB-C + one USB-A | 30W + 20W + 12W |
| One USB-C + two USB-A | 45W + 15W |
| Two USB-C + two USB-A | 30W + 20W + 15W |
For example, one laptop connected by itself may be eligible for up to 67W. Add a phone to the second USB-C port and the listed split becomes 45W/20W or 30W/30W, depending on the allocation mode. With all four USB ports occupied, the listed USB-C allocations are lower. Actual charging depends on the device’s charging requirements and negotiation, battery state, and cable rating; the table is not a promise that every device will draw its listed maximum.

Anker says the station supports Samsung Super Fast Charging on certain Galaxy models but not 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0. Compatibility listings do not guarantee maximum charging speed for every phone, tablet, or laptop.
Who is it worth buying for?
If a live Amazon offer is around $36 and the listing checks out, the 525 makes sense for someone who wants a compact combination of AC power and USB charging in one desk unit. It can suit a home office, student desk, or nightstand where one laptop or tablet shares charging with a phone and smaller accessories. The rear AC outlets can also help consolidate power for equipment such as a lamp, monitor, or speakers.
Rank #4
It is less suitable for two power-hungry laptops, a gaming laptop that needs more than 65W over USB-C, or a setup that needs several devices charging at top speed simultaneously. Buyers needing 100W or more for a demanding laptop should look for a higher-output charger or station instead.
What it does not replace
- A USB hub or dock: The USB ports supply power; they do not provide USB data, HDMI, Ethernet, storage, or peripheral connections.
- A documented high-capacity surge protector: Anker describes surge protection and an eight-point safety system, including short-circuit protection and ActiveShield 2.0 temperature monitoring. The product information cited here does not state a joule rating or clamping voltage, so buyers who require those specifications should verify them before purchase. Anker lists TUV, CP65, FCC, and ICES certifications; those labels are not a substitute for a specific surge rating.
- A universal travel adapter: Anker lists 100–240V, 50–60Hz input for USB charging, but the AC outlets are rated for 125V and are U.S.-style. Anker says the station cannot be taken on cruise ships. Its compact size does not make it a replacement for an international adapter or voltage converter.
The AC rating is 125V, 60Hz, 15A, or 1,875W. That is the station’s stated AC rating, not a recommendation to exceed the limits of the outlet, circuit, or connected equipment.

Check these details before ordering
- Make sure the listing is for Anker 525 Charging Station, model A91C0—not a similarly named station.
- Confirm the seller, product condition, selected color, delivery estimate, and return terms on the live listing.
- If a coupon checkbox or promotional code is shown, apply it and verify the final pre-tax price at checkout.
- Decide whether you need three AC outlets plus four USB charging ports, rather than seven USB ports, data connectivity, or a higher-wattage charger.
- Use suitable USB-C or USB-A cables. The cable’s power rating and the device’s requirements can limit charging, and the station does not eliminate the need for cables.
Verdict
At a verified $35.99–$36, the Anker 525 is a reasonable buy for desk organization and everyday charging of one laptop or tablet alongside smaller devices. At Anker’s listed $39.99 direct price, the difference is only about $4, so the Amazon deal is compelling only if the live price, seller, and terms suit you. Choose a higher-output charger for demanding multi-laptop setups, a hub or dock for data and display connections, and a properly specified travel adapter for international use.
