Flow Engineering announced a $50 million Series B at a reported $750 million valuation on September 30, 2026. Valor Equity Partners founder Antonio Gracias and Atreides Management managing partner Gavin Baker co-led the round; Sequoia Capital, which led Flow’s Series A, also participated. Flow sells enterprise software that connects engineering records and uses AI agents to track how design changes affect a physical product’s development.
What does Flow Engineering do?
Flow is an enterprise software company for organizations developing physical products. Its platform links requirements, computer-aided design (CAD), simulation, code and test information into what the company describes as a living system of record. AI agents can analyze engineering changes, flag downstream effects and check requirements against test coverage. In practical terms, the aim is to help engineering teams see whether a change to one part of a project affects other tools or workstreams.
The announcement describes software, not a consumer product or a hardware manufacturer. Flow says it is building secure ways for frontier AI models to work with sensitive engineering data on live programs.

The $750 million figure is a financing valuation, not a public-market price. Because its pre- or post-money basis is not stated, it does not support a reliable calculation of the investors’ ownership or the dilution to existing shareholders.
Which customers and adoption figures has Flow named?
Flow’s announcement names Rivian, Anduril, Joby Aviation, Astranis, Radiant Industries, General Motors PPU, RV Tech (a Rivian–Volkswagen joint venture), Stoke Space, Intuitive Machines and Pacific Fusion as customers. TechCrunch independently reported a subset of that list: Rivian, Anduril, Joby Aviation, General Motors PPU, RV Tech and Stoke Space. The broader roster is therefore a company-reported list, not a complete independently confirmed customer record.

Flow says Rivian’s use grew from 40 to 1,500 users in seven months and that Rivian engineers make millions of API calls each week. These are figures reported by Flow, not independently audited adoption metrics. Flow also says 96% of its customers come inbound; the announcement does not explain how it calculates that share or specify a denominator beyond “customers.”
How does Flow plan to use the money?
Flow says it intends to use the financing to build a secure AI harness for hardware engineering, expand review, branching and evaluation features, hire in AI and systems engineering, pursue FedRAMP authorization and other certifications, and increase sales capacity. It has not disclosed how much of the $50 million will go to each priority or a timeline for pursuing authorization. FedRAMP is a planned effort, not an authorization the announcement says Flow already holds.

What the announcement does not establish
The financing announcement and independent coverage establish the reported round and selected deal details, but they do not establish Flow’s revenue, profitability, market share, valuation basis or round dilution. Nor do the available sources provide an independent product evaluation or comparative benchmarks showing how Flow performs against other engineering platforms. Customer names, product capabilities and adoption figures beyond those independently reported remain attributed claims rather than audited results.
