Aave Price Prediction: What the $160 AAVE Scenario Does—and Doesn’t—Tell You

TechBullion’s $160 AAVE scenario has no stated timeframe, probability, or valuation model. Aave V4’s reported September activity and Remittix’s selected-holder PayFi test are separate milestones, not direct token-price evidence.

AAVE at $160 is a scenario, not a guaranteed price or an independently established forecast. The article raising that possibility gives no target date, probability, or quantitative valuation model. Aave Labs reported strong Aave V4 activity in September 2026, while Remittix separately announced a limited PayFi test for selected holders. Neither development, by itself, establishes a short-term token price.

What does the $160 AAVE scenario mean?

The $160 figure is discussed in TechBullion’s October 2, 2026 article as a possible AAVE price scenario. The article says it would require sustained demand for AAVE and continued protocol activity, but it does not provide a timeframe, probability, or valuation method. It should not be treated as a price target with a defined analytical basis, much less a guarantee. TechBullion’s article

For a reader weighing the claim, the key distinction is between evidence that a protocol is being used and evidence that its token should trade at a particular price. The former can inform a view of a project’s development; it does not supply the missing assumptions needed to calculate a token valuation.

What Aave V4’s September activity shows

Aave Labs’ development update, posted October 1, 2026, reported that Aave V4 deposits surpassed $1 billion and active loans reached $310 million during September. The update also said V4 expanded to Arc and Base. Aave Labs’ September 2026 development update

Those figures describe activity in Aave V4, a DeFi lending protocol where users supply assets and borrow. They do not directly measure AAVE token demand, establish a relationship between protocol balances and token price, or provide a price forecast. The update is useful context for assessing protocol development, but it cannot validate $160 on its own.

What Remittix’s PayFi milestone says

In a release distributed by GlobeNewswire on October 2, 2026, Remittix said 1,000 selected RTX holders could access an early PayFi test. The company described initial EUR and USD settlement options and support for USDT and USDC across selected networks. It said the initial group could test how digital assets move into EUR and USD settlement. Remittix’s release via GlobeNewswire

This is a different product and a different kind of evidence from Aave V4’s protocol metrics. Aave is a lending protocol; Remittix describes payment flows between supported digital assets and fiat settlement through compatible banking routes. The announced test is an issuer-reported early-access milestone, not independent confirmation of successful payments or evidence of RTX’s value.

Additional Remittix figures are company-reported

The same release reported that Remittix Markets volume exceeded $50 million and iOS wallet downloads exceeded 10,000. It said Android was awaiting approval, and that Earn was nearing release with advertised yields of up to 22% APY on qualifying assets. Remittix’s release via GlobeNewswire

These claims should be read with their source and status attached: GlobeNewswire says it does not endorse, verify, or guarantee the release’s claims. The stated yield is an advertised expectation for a product described as nearing release—not a guaranteed return or an independently validated rate.

How to compare the two developments

Question Aave V4 Remittix PayFi
What is it for? Supplying and borrowing through a DeFi lending protocol. Remittix describes crypto-to-fiat or fiat-to-crypto payment flows through compatible banking routes.
What was reported? Aave Labs reported more than $1 billion in deposits and $310 million in active loans during September 2026, plus expansion to Arc and Base. Remittix said 1,000 selected RTX holders could test PayFi, initially with EUR and USD settlement options.
What kind of evidence is it? A dated development update from Aave Labs. A company-provided press release distributed by GlobeNewswire; the distributor disclaims verification and endorsement.
Does it establish a token price? No. The activity figures do not directly estimate AAVE’s value. No. The product announcement is not independent valuation evidence for RTX.

What the announcements do not establish

The cited Remittix release does not independently establish payment success rates, fees, settlement times, geographic coverage, test-user outcomes, or regulatory status. It also does not make the announced early-access test equivalent to a broadly available service. Those details matter when evaluating a payment product, but they cannot be inferred from the cohort size or the stated settlement currencies.

Likewise, neither Aave’s development figures nor Remittix’s product milestone is a reliable standalone short-term price signal. The $160 AAVE scenario remains speculative without a stated horizon, probability, and valuation model.
