The calculation is (sale price − entry price) ÷ entry price. It excludes trading fees, any spread between quoted and executed prices, and taxes. Those costs reduce the amount the investor ultimately keeps; the actual result also depends on the quantity of BTC bought and the execution prices.

Not on the evidence in the article. The BTC calculation has defined entry and sale prices, so its gross return can be calculated. The $0.46 RTX figure is described as a presale tier, not a verified exit price. Without a confirmed, comparable price at which a buyer could sell—and clear assumptions about access, fees, timing, and liquidity—there is no grounded implied RTX return to compare with Bitcoin’s 15% scenario.
