It also brings content, paid search, local SEO and business-intelligence reporting into one system. Published prices run from $1,000 to $3,000 per month, before any optional Ads Accelerator add-on or ad spend.
What is OrganicIQ?
OrganicIQ is SMA Marketing’s proprietary service for coordinating search marketing across conventional search results and AI answer products. SMA says it combines SEO, generative-engine optimization (GEO), AI visibility, content, paid search, local SEO and business intelligence. The stated aim is to help a business be discoverable on Google and readable, trusted and citable in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. SMA’s launch announcement describes the system and its intended scope.
In practical terms, this is an agency service, not a self-serve software subscription. SMA’s CEO Ryan Shelley framed the shift as buyers asking questions rather than only entering search terms. That framing explains the product’s emphasis on AI answers; it does not establish that any particular client will appear in those answers.
How does OrganicIQ work?
SMA says it reviews rankings, AI answers, calls, forms and booked jobs each month, then turns identified opportunities into Growth Actions linked to the client’s primary goal. The company describes Growth Actions as focused work rather than a report alone. Reporting starts with leads versus the goal, and seasonal businesses are compared year over year. Its business-intelligence layer connects SEO, AI citations, content marketing, paid search, analytics, advertising platforms and CRM data. The launch announcement and OrganicIQ product information describe this measurement approach.

This makes lead and booked-job tracking part of the service’s stated operating model, rather than relying solely on rankings or website visits. The published description does not specify a universal attribution model or guarantee that every phone call, form or booked job can be matched to a marketing channel; prospective clients should clarify tracking setup and data access for their own systems.
How much does OrganicIQ cost?
SMA lists three monthly tiers. Optional Ads Accelerator pricing is additional; advertising spend is paid directly to platforms and is not marked up, according to the company.
Rank #2
| Plan | Monthly fee | Included monthly capacity | Ads Accelerator add-on |
|---|---|---|---|
| Launch | $1,000 | 10 keywords plus AI prompts; 1 new content item; 1 content refresh; 1 Growth Action | +$500/month |
| Lift | $2,000 | 20 keywords plus AI prompts; 2 new content items; 2 content refreshes; 3 Growth Actions | +$750/month |
| Lead | $3,000 | 30 keywords plus AI prompts; 3 new content items; 3 content refreshes; 5 Growth Actions | +$1,000/month |
The product page also lists analytics and conversion tracking, site and profile upkeep, visibility monitoring and monthly reporting as plan features. See SMA’s OrganicIQ pricing and feature list for the company’s current published offer. The launch announcement mentions an Enterprise option for multi-brand organizations, committee purchases and companies spending more than $10,000 per month on advertising, but does not publish an Enterprise price.
Does OrganicIQ help a business show up in ChatGPT or Google AI Overviews?
AI visibility and citation work are explicit parts of OrganicIQ’s stated scope. SMA says the system monitors AI answers and aims to make client information more likely to be readable, trusted and citable in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. That is a service objective, not a placement guarantee: the launch materials do not promise a specific citation, answer inclusion, ranking or volume of AI referrals.
Rank #3
AI answer visibility also differs from a conventional search ranking. A business can work on the quality and accessibility of its content and monitor whether AI products cite it, but the service description does not establish control over how those products select or present sources. Ask SMA how it defines an AI visibility opportunity, which platforms and prompts are monitored, and what evidence appears in monthly reporting.
Is OrganicIQ SEO plus GEO in one service?
Yes. SMA describes OrganicIQ as one system spanning SEO and generative-engine optimization (GEO), alongside content, paid search, local SEO, AI visibility and business intelligence. The practical difference from buying an SEO-only package is the stated addition of AI-answer monitoring and citation work, plus integration with paid-search and business-event data. The number of keywords and AI prompts, content items and Growth Actions varies by tier as shown above.
Which OrganicIQ plan fits a company?
The plans mainly scale monthly capacity. A buyer can start by matching the needed volume of content, tracked keywords and AI prompts, and focused Growth Actions to the fee—not by assuming that the highest tier guarantees better outcomes.
- Launch: The smallest listed scope, with one new content item, one refresh and one Growth Action each month. It may suit a company seeking a defined initial program with limited monthly production.
- Lift: Doubles Launch’s listed content and tracking quantities and includes three Growth Actions per month. It may fit a business that needs more regular content work and a larger action pipeline.
- Lead: The largest published standard tier, with three new content items, three refreshes and five Growth Actions monthly. It may suit a company needing the most capacity among the listed plans.
- Enterprise: SMA identifies this option for multi-brand organizations, committee purchases and businesses spending over $10,000 per month on ads; pricing and deliverables are not stated on the public offer.
Before signing, confirm what counts as a content item, refresh, keyword and AI prompt; whether unused monthly capacity rolls over; how the company selects Growth Actions; and whether the proposed tracking can connect to the business’s CRM and booking workflow. These details affect the value of a plan as much as its headline fee.

Who is OrganicIQ aimed at?
SMA names B2B SaaS companies, manufacturers and engineering firms, defense and dual-use technology suppliers, commercial contractors and home-services businesses as intended customers. Its local-search materials emphasize Google Business Profile, citations, Maps and local-pack visibility, as well as local AI answers. The fit is therefore clearest for organizations whose growth depends on search discovery, qualified inquiries or local leads; the launch materials do not establish results for every industry or business model.
What performance results has SMA published?
SMA’s homepage presents four-year client aggregate figures: 40% growth in organic conversions, 125x growth in AI referral traffic, a 4.2% AI referral conversion rate and an approximately two-times-higher conversion rate. The page does not specify the year range, sample size or methodology, and the figures are not independently verified in the cited materials. Treat them as company-reported aggregate claims, not a forecast or expected result for an individual OrganicIQ customer. SMA’s homepage is the source for those figures.
What should buyers compare before choosing?
OrganicIQ brings several service areas together, but the right comparison is against the work a business actually needs and the measurement it can use. When evaluating SMA or another provider, check:
- Google SEO: Which technical, on-page and local search tasks are included, and which require separate scope?
- AI-answer work: Which platforms, prompts and citation signals are monitored, and how are findings converted into content or site changes?
- Content capacity: What deliverables qualify as new content or a refresh, and who approves subject matter and claims?
- Paid search: Is campaign management included or an add-on, and is platform ad spend separate from the service fee?
- Business-event attribution: Can calls, forms and booked jobs be linked to marketing activity in the client’s analytics and CRM?
- Reporting and action: Is reporting monthly, does it focus on leads or business outcomes, and are specific work actions included?
- Industry experience: Can the provider explain its approach to the buyer’s sales cycle, compliance needs, geography and lead economics?
- Capacity and cost: Does the monthly quantity of keywords, prompts, content and actions support the company’s needs at a sustainable fee?
Because OrganicIQ bundles SEO, GEO, content, paid search options and reporting, ask for a written scope that separates included work, add-ons, platform spend and any custom Enterprise terms. That makes it easier to compare the total monthly commitment with a collection of separate providers.
