iPhone 8 Plus price in Pakistan
The iPhone 8 Plus launched in 2017 and is now discontinued. Pakistan price pages therefore mix imported legacy stock, used phones, refurbished units and phones with different PTA or network status. Do not treat a listing marked “new” as equivalent to an official, current Apple-warranty product.

Pakistan government valuation records document both 64GB and 256GB Space Grey variants, but a valuation entry is not a live retail offer. Your total cost can also change with import taxes, PTA registration, accessories, condition and warranty.
PTA-approved, non-PTA, refurbished and used: what you are actually buying
PTA-approved stock
A PTA-approved phone is registered for use on Pakistani mobile networks. Ask the seller to provide the IMEI and verify the status yourself before payment; a seller’s verbal assurance is not proof.

These phones may be cheaper but can require registration before cellular use, adding a cost that is separate from the advertised handset price. Confirm the registration position for the exact IMEI and your intended SIMs.
Refurbished phones
Refurbished does not automatically mean factory-sealed. It may have a replacement battery, display, housing or other repaired parts. Require a written description of replaced components, battery health, warranty and return window.

Used prices depend heavily on battery health, cosmetic damage, storage, originality of parts and whether Touch ID, cameras and charging work. Compare the complete package rather than the headline number.

Its 5.5-inch LCD, physical Home button with Touch ID, portrait-capable dual camera and wireless charging remain useful for buyers who prefer that design. It does not support 5G, uses the older Lightning ecosystem and has noticeably larger bezels than newer iPhones. Battery life is condition-dependent because every available unit is several years old.

Is the iPhone 8 Plus worth buying in 2026?
When it can make sense
- You specifically want a large LCD iPhone with a Home button and Touch ID.
- The phone has verified PTA approval, healthy battery capacity and no important replaced or damaged components.
- The price leaves room for a possible battery replacement and is materially lower than a newer used iPhone.
- You mainly need calls, messaging, browsing, established App Store apps and basic photography.
When to skip it
- The seller cannot show a matching IMEI or PTA status.
- The price approaches newer used iPhone models that offer longer expected software support, 5G or a more modern design.
- Battery health is poor, Touch ID is unavailable, cameras are faulty, or the display and housing show signs of low-quality repair.
- You need 5G, USB-C accessories, modern camera features or the longest possible service life.
Apple’s official material describes the iPhone 8 generation as part of its environmental progress, but the model’s 2017 hardware and discontinued status should set realistic expectations about future software support and parts availability. No benchmark or hands-on test establishes performance beyond the published specifications here.
64GB versus 256GB: which used version is better?

Choose the cleanest, verified phone first and storage second. A 256GB unit with a weak battery or unoriginal display is usually a worse purchase than a well-maintained 64GB phone at an appropriate price. The cited Pakistan references do not establish a consistent 64GB-versus-256GB market premium.

Used or refurbished buying checklist
- Confirm the model and storage: Check Settings and the device information screen, not just the seller’s advertisement.
- Match the IMEI: Compare the IMEI shown in Settings, on the device and on the box if supplied, then verify PTA status for Pakistani networks.
- Inspect battery and parts: Check Battery Health and ask whether the battery, display or cameras have been replaced. Treat unknown-part warnings or implausible battery readings as risks.
- Test core hardware: Enrol a fingerprint in Touch ID, take wide, telephoto and portrait photos, test the Lightning port, speakers, microphone, proximity sensor and wireless charging.
- Inspect the body: Look for frame bends, back-glass damage, screen discoloration and water-indicator activation. IP67 protection should not be assumed after opening or repair.
- Get terms in writing: Confirm return period, warranty length, included accessories, taxes and whether the quote includes PTA registration.
- Reject vague “sealed” claims: A factory-sealed claim is not a substitute for an IMEI check, inspection and documented seller responsibility.
How to compare it with a newer used iPhone
Make a total-cost comparison that includes the handset, PTA registration where applicable, a likely battery replacement, charger or cable, and the value of the seller’s warranty. Then compare battery health, storage, physical condition, camera and Home-button requirements, expected software support and network capability. If a newer used iPhone costs only modestly more after these adjustments, it is often the stronger long-term value; the 8 Plus is most defensible when its lower price and familiar design are the priorities.
