Yes. Mullvad lists Amazon as an official reseller in several countries, including the United States. The usual Amazon product is a physical scratch-card voucher—not an instant email code—and Amazon availability is not new: Mullvad announced its first Amazon listings in 2022. Whether a card is in stock, ships to you, and offers good value depends on your local marketplace and listing.
What you get when you buy a Mullvad voucher on Amazon
The standard product is a physical Mullvad activation card with a concealed voucher code. After delivery, you reveal the code and redeem it through a Mullvad account. It adds subscription time; it is not an Amazon gift card, an account login, or an app license tied to one device. Mullvad’s voucher instructions describe the physical card and redemption process.
A voucher can also work as a gift: the buyer does not need to know the recipient’s Mullvad account number. The recipient still needs an account number to redeem the time and use the service.
Which Amazon marketplaces Mullvad lists

That list establishes official reseller status for those marketplaces, not worldwide availability or current stock. A listing can be out of stock, unavailable for delivery to your address, or priced differently from the direct service.
The Amazon channel began in 2022, not in a new launch. Mullvad announced Amazon US and Sweden on July 26, 2022, then reported an expansion to 11 Amazon countries on September 16, 2022. In October 2024, Mullvad reported a temporary availability problem after Amazon mistakenly treated the physical vouchers as digital products; Mullvad later said the listings had been restored. Its current reseller page continues to list Amazon. See the 2022 US and Sweden announcement, expansion announcement, and October 2024 update.

How to check a listing before you pay
Official reseller status does not make every Amazon search result legitimate. Before ordering, check the specific marketplace listing and the transaction terms:
- Make sure it is a marketplace Mullvad lists as an official Amazon reseller.
- Check the seller and fulfillment details on the listing; do not assume every third-party result using Mullvad’s name is authorized.
- Look for a physical activation card or scratch card. Treat unexpected claims of instant digital delivery cautiously.
- Confirm the card’s subscription duration rather than assuming every listing offers the same period.
- Compare the full price, including shipping, tax, and any currency conversion, with the equivalent direct subscription.
- Read the listing’s return and refund terms before opening or scratching the card.
How to redeem the voucher
- Buy a physical card through an Amazon marketplace Mullvad lists, then wait for delivery.
- Open Mullvad’s account page and generate an account number or use an existing account.
- Choose Voucher as the payment method.
- After confirming that you received the correct card, scratch the concealed gray area on its back.
- Enter the activation code and check that the account balance or expiration date has been extended.
- Download the Mullvad app and sign in with the account number.
If the code is damaged or unreadable, keep the packaging and Amazon order record, and take a photo of the card. If a code is rejected, avoid guessing repeatedly or posting it publicly; contact Mullvad and the seller with proof of purchase. If the physical card does not arrive or Amazon processes the order as a digital-style item, use Amazon’s cancellation or refund process rather than assuming Mullvad can refund an Amazon sale.

What the voucher does—and does not—do for privacy
Mullvad says its voucher design prevents third parties from linking the voucher payment to a Mullvad account and lets someone give service to another person without knowing that person’s account number. That can reduce the payment information Mullvad receives for the account.
It does not make an Amazon purchase anonymous. Amazon can retain information about the account, payment, order, device, and delivery under its own policies, and shipping a physical card creates a delivery record. The separation concerns voucher redemption with Mullvad; it does not erase Amazon’s transaction record.

For comparison, Mullvad lists cash and several cryptocurrencies as direct payment options. Those methods have different processing, refund, and payment risks; Mullvad excludes cash and cryptocurrency from its standard money-back coverage. See its payment and pricing information and refund policy.

Mullvad’s direct price is €5 per month, including VAT, whether the customer pays for one month or a longer period, according to its pricing page. Resellers may use different pricing models, and no universal Amazon price is established. Mullvad says accepted cryptocurrency payments receive a 10% discount because of lower fees and administration costs. That is a direct-payment discount; it does not establish a discount on Amazon voucher cards. Mullvad also says it does not run conventional holiday or seasonal sales on its direct service.
Check how many months the specific card adds. Mullvad accounts can be used on up to five devices, but a voucher extends time on an account; it does not create five separate accounts. The device limit and direct pricing are stated on Mullvad’s pricing page.
Refunds: Amazon voucher versus direct purchase
Mullvad’s current refund policy excludes vouchers from its 14-day money-back guarantee. For an Amazon voucher, pursue a refund through the store or reseller because Mullvad does not hold the payment information for that sale. Amazon’s and the seller’s applicable rules govern the return, and revealing or redeeming a code may affect eligibility—check the listing terms before scratching it.
A direct purchase may qualify for Mullvad’s 14-day policy depending on the payment method and its terms. This is separate from Amazon’s return process; do not assume the direct-service guarantee applies to a voucher bought from a reseller.

Choose Amazon, direct purchase, or another official reseller
| Option | Best suited to | Practical trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon physical voucher | A physical gift or a buyer who prefers to pay a reseller | Requires delivery; price, stock, and returns vary by marketplace and listing; vouchers are excluded from Mullvad’s 14-day guarantee. |
| Buy directly from Mullvad | Immediate activation, direct support, or clear direct pricing | No physical card; payment methods and refund eligibility depend on Mullvad’s terms. |
| Another official reseller | A buyer whose local Amazon marketplace lacks stock or delivery | Mullvad lists resellers including Inet, Webhallen, ProxyStore, SerialCart, MySecure.Space, and Laptop with Linux; each can have different stock, price, delivery, and refund terms. |
| Cash or cryptocurrency directly to Mullvad | A buyer seeking to minimize payment information shared with Mullvad | Processing may be slower or payment irreversible, and these methods are excluded from standard money-back coverage. |
For current reseller options, consult Mullvad’s partnerships and resellers page. Do not buy a shared account, an exposed code, or a suspiciously cheap key from an unknown marketplace.
