Deal status: The $4.99 Hulu/Disney+ promotion and the $60-off Pixel Watch 4 prices from the March 14, 2026 roundup are no longer current. Google’s later $100-off Pixel Watch 4 offer also ended August 2, 2026. A Disney+/Hulu introductory price may still be available to eligible U.S. subscribers, but verify the checkout total and renewal price before paying.
What happened to the advertised deals?
| Offer | Advertised terms | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Disney+/Hulu Duo with ads | $4.99 per month, versus a then-listed $12.99 standard price | Expired at 11:59 a.m. ET on March 24, 2026 |
| Pixel Watch 4 41mm Wi-Fi | $289.99, $60 below the $349.99 list price | Historical March 14 pricing; not a confirmed current deal |
| Pixel Watch 4 45mm Wi-Fi | $339.99, $60 below the $399.99 list price | Historical March 14 pricing; not a confirmed current deal |
| Google Store Pixel Watch 4 promotion | $349.99 instead of $449.99, $100 off | Expired August 2, 2026 |
The original roundup, published March 14 ahead of the March 15 Academy Awards, described the streaming price as unusually strong and the watch prices as new lows. Those descriptions apply to that promotion window, not to a purchase made now. See the original snapshot at Yahoo Tech.
Disney+ and Hulu: what you can get now
Disney’s U.S. signup pages currently show the Duo bundle with ads at $12.99 per month. Some eligible users may instead see an introductory $11.99 per month for six months offer, totaling $71.94 before renewal at $12.99 monthly. Disney’s pages do not present that promotion consistently, so use the final checkout screen—not a headline banner—as the authority.
| Plan | Current price signal | Six-month introductory signal | Who should consider it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Disney+/Hulu Duo with ads | $12.99/month | $11.99/month for six months ($71.94), where shown; then $12.99/month | Households that want both catalogs and accept advertising |
| Disney+/Hulu Premium | $19.99/month | $17.99/month for six months ($107.94), where shown; then $19.99/month | Frequent viewers who value fewer ad breaks and downloads |
| Disney+/Hulu/ESPN Unlimited with ads | $35.99/month | Not stated | Sports viewers who would otherwise buy ESPN separately |
| Disney+/Hulu/ESPN Unlimited Premium | $44.99/month | Not stated | Sports-heavy households wanting ad-free Disney+ and Hulu |
The Duo includes Disney+ and Hulu. Select Hulu programming can appear inside Disney+, while the complete Hulu catalog remains available in the Hulu app. Device limits, downloads, simultaneous streams and content availability vary by plan; Disney’s bundle guidance says Hulu content viewed within Disney+ can stream on up to two devices simultaneously. “Ad-free” plans can still include advertising or sponsored material in live, linear and certain promotional programming. Review Disney’s signup terms at Disney+ Help.
Eligibility and cancellation
- The expired $4.99 price was aimed at new and returning subscribers under Disney’s offer terms. Existing Disney+, Hulu or bundle customers should not assume they qualified; they may need to change plans rather than open a second account.
- U.S. pricing and eligibility do not establish availability in other countries or territories.
- Cancellation generally leaves access through the paid billing period. Do not assume a partial-month refund, and set a reminder before any six-month introductory period ends.
Pixel Watch 4: separate the old prices from today’s decision
The March retailer prices covered Wi-Fi models: $289.99 for 41mm and $339.99 for 45mm. They did not establish equivalent LTE prices. Google later advertised $100 off at its store, from $449.99 to $349.99, for U.S. residents and U.S. shipping addresses from July 12 through August 2, 2026. That offer is expired, and any two-year Google Fi data benefit was limited to eligible LTE purchases, required activation in the Pixel Watch app and did not provide voice calling through that offer. Check Google’s offer page for any replacement promotion: Google Store offers.
| Configuration | Practical difference | Best fit |
|---|---|---|
| 41mm Wi-Fi | Smaller case and lower historical price; depends on a nearby phone for connected features | Smaller wrists and phone-near use |
| 45mm Wi-Fi | Larger case and display; historically $50 more than 41mm at list price | Readers who prefer a bigger screen and can keep a phone nearby |
| 41mm or 45mm LTE | Can handle calls, messages, navigation and music away from a phone, subject to carrier support and service costs | Phone-free workouts and travel |
Confirm Android-phone compatibility before buying. Pixel phones generally provide the tightest integration; non-Pixel Android phones can have feature limitations. The watch offers activity and sleep tracking, heart-rate and blood-oxygen measurements, workout detection, dual-frequency GPS, Google Maps, Google Wallet, Assistant or Gemini features and Pixel-camera integration. These are product capabilities, not proof of medical accuracy or a diagnosis.
#1 Best Overall
- The Google Pixel Watch 4 is a stunning display of precision craftsmanship, with Gemini, your built-in AI assistant, Google’s longest-lasting battery, and comprehensive tools for next-level health and fitness performance[1,2,3,4]
- See it all and do the most with the Actua 360 domed display; it’s 10% larger and 50% brighter than Pixel Watch 3, and as durable as ever with scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass[1]
- The Google Pixel Watch 4 has Gemini built in[4]; just ask questions and your ultra capable AI assistant will deliver quick responses for personalized help; and stay connected when you’re texting with AI-powered quick replies that are hyper-relevant[5,6]
- Get up to 30 hours of battery life or up to 48 hours in Battery Saver mode[3]; plus, the new side charging dock gives you 15 hours of battery in 15 minutes or less[7]
- Train smarter with 40+ exercise modes and real-time stats on your wrist[8]; and with high-precision dual-frequency GPS, you get more accurate route tracking on runs and hikes[1]
Who should buy—and who should wait?
- Buy a Wi-Fi model on sale: You already use Android, want notifications, payments and GPS, and normally carry your phone.
- Consider LTE: You regularly run, travel or exercise without your phone and have confirmed carrier compatibility and the recurring connectivity cost.
- Wait: You use an iPhone, need a verified discount today, or are comparing the watch solely because an expired price appeared in a headline.
Which offer is the better value?
For a household that wants streaming
The current Duo introductory price is the more actionable opportunity, but only if you genuinely want both Disney+ and Hulu. At $11.99 for six months, the first six months cost $71.94; at the standard $12.99 rate, they cost $77.94. Premium costs more—$107.94 at the displayed six-month introductory rate—so casual viewers may not recover the difference.
For a Pixel-phone owner shopping for a watch
Buy only after checking the live retailer or Google Store price. A meaningful discount can make Pixel Watch 4 worthwhile for Google-service integration, health tracking and navigation, but the historical $60 and $100 reductions should not be treated as available inventory or a guaranteed floor.

For sports viewers
The Duo does not include ESPN. Compare the $35.99 ad-supported or $44.99 premium ESPN-inclusive bundles with the cost of buying sports access separately.
Checkout checklist
- Confirm you are on the U.S. Disney+ or Google Store page and that the account is eligible.
- Record the introductory price, its end date and the exact renewal amount.
- Check whether an existing Disney+ or Hulu subscription will be changed, transferred or billed separately.
- Read the ad, simultaneous-streaming, download and app limitations for the selected plan.
- For a watch, verify 41mm versus 45mm, Wi-Fi versus LTE, Android compatibility and carrier activation requirements.
- Set a calendar reminder before the streaming promotion renews and before any watch-data benefit expires.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: The $4.99 Disney+/Hulu deal and the highlighted Pixel Watch 4 prices are historical, not current bargains. Consider Disney’s Duo offer only when checkout shows an acceptable introductory price and you want both services. Consider Pixel Watch 4 only when you verify a live discount, choose the right size and connectivity, and budget for possible LTE service.
