Yes—Samsung.com offers complimentary pickup at select Best Buy stores for many eligible U.S. mobile, TV, and home-appliance products. The option appears only when the specific product, configuration, ZIP code, and store qualify. You pay Samsung, select Best Buy during Samsung checkout, and wait for Samsung’s ready-for-pickup email before visiting.
What the Samsung–Best Buy arrangement means
This is a Samsung.com purchase, not a BestBuy.com order. You shop and pay on Samsung.com, use Samsung promotions or trade-in terms that apply to that order, and choose an eligible Best Buy location as the handoff point. Best Buy fulfills the in-store pickup and, for eligible returns, acts as the return location.
Samsung publicized the arrangement on August 19, 2022, around the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Z Flip4 launch. Samsung’s current U.S. shipping and pickup policy still lists pickup at select Best Buy stores, so the feature remains available rather than being only a 2022 launch promotion.
Which products and stores qualify?
Samsung currently describes the service as available for many mobile products, TVs, and home appliances. The earlier launch coverage also identified smartphones, wearables, laptops, tablets, and TVs. Neither list means every model qualifies.

- Eligibility can vary by exact color, storage tier, configuration, product size, payment method, and inventory.
- Only select Best Buy stores participate; availability is tied to the ZIP code entered at checkout.
- Large televisions and appliances may have separate freight or delivery restrictions.
- Samsung-exclusive colors, storage versions, Bespoke configurations, and some preorders may be delivery-only. If no pickup store appears, treat the configuration as unavailable for pickup in that ZIP code.
Samsung checkout is the controlling test for an individual order. A product showing stock on BestBuy.com does not guarantee that Samsung will offer it for a Samsung.com pickup order.
How to place a Samsung.com order for Best Buy pickup
- Add the desired product and configuration to your cart on Samsung.com.
- Start checkout and select “In-store Pick up” under shipping options.
- Enter your ZIP code and review the available-store map.
- Choose an eligible Best Buy location.
- Enter the first name, last name, phone number, and email address of the person who will collect the order.
- Place the order and save the Samsung order number.
- Wait for Samsung’s separate ready-for-pickup email before traveling to the store.
Samsung says the pickup person’s name and contact information cannot be changed after the order is placed. Designate a family member, gift recipient, or colleague before submitting the order, and make sure that person’s government ID matches the designation.
How quickly will the order be ready?
Samsung’s estimates are conditional, not guarantees. Store hours, inventory, payment validation, product type, and launch restrictions can change the result.

An order-confirmation email means Samsung received the order; it does not mean the store has released it. Do not make the trip until the ready-for-pickup message arrives.

What to bring and how long the store holds it
The designated collector should bring:
- The Samsung order number
- A valid government-issued photo ID matching the pickup person entered at checkout
Samsung says the order is held for five calendar days. If it is not collected within that period, Samsung says the order is canceled. Best Buy may offer extensions for orders placed directly on BestBuy.com, but that policy should not be assumed to apply to Samsung.com orders.
Returns for Samsung.com orders collected at Best Buy
According to Best Buy’s partner-returns FAQ, a Samsung.com order picked up at Best Buy must be returned to a Best Buy store, generally within 15 days of pickup. Best Buy says any Best Buy store can accept the return, subject to product-category, payment-method, and applicable Samsung-term exceptions.

These orders are not returned to Samsung Experience Stores. Review the order in Samsung.com account history for the applicable process before starting a return. This workflow is different from buying the same item directly through BestBuy.com, which can have different return, pickup-extension, membership, protection-plan, and promotional rules.

There is no universal cheaper channel. Compare the final amount after trade-in, taxes, financing cost, promotional credits, accessories, protection plans, and return terms. Samsung.com may have a stronger trade-in or exclusive offer, while direct Best Buy may have a lower total price or simpler inventory-based pickup.

No Best Buy store appears
The product, configuration, ZIP code, or current inventory is not eligible. Try another nearby ZIP code or choose shipping. Do not rely on a BestBuy.com stock indicator for a Samsung.com order.

The pickup option disappears at checkout
A financing method, bundle, promotion, inventory change, or product restriction may have made the order ineligible. Remove or change the affected option and check again; if pickup still does not appear, use delivery.
You have an order confirmation but no ready email
Processing or payment validation may still be underway. Wait for the ready message and check the selected store’s hours before leaving.
Someone else needs to collect the order
That person must be entered during checkout. Samsung says the designated pickup information cannot be changed afterward.

The order is a preorder or carrier-financed phone
Preorders cannot be collected before the stated release date. Samsung generally schedules carrier-financed orders for the next day rather than same-day pickup, and carrier activation may require additional identity or account verification.
The item is too large to transport
Confirm pickup eligibility and plan a vehicle capable of safely carrying the boxed TV or appliance. Some large products may be delivery-only.
When Best Buy pickup is a good choice
- You need an eligible item faster than home delivery allows.
- You want to avoid porch delivery or shipping delays.
- Samsung.com offers a better trade-in, financing option, or promotion than BestBuy.com.
- The exact Samsung configuration is shown as available at a convenient participating store.
Choose home delivery, Samsung Experience Store pickup where offered, P.C. Richard & Son pickup where offered, a carrier pickup for eligible phones, or direct Best Buy purchase when Samsung checkout does not provide a suitable store or when Best Buy’s complete transaction is better.
Bottom line
Samsung.com orders can still be collected at select Best Buy stores, but “same-day pickup at Best Buy” is not a blanket promise. Check the actual Samsung checkout for the exact model and ZIP code, enter the pickup person carefully, wait for the ready email, bring the order number and matching photo ID, and remember that a Samsung.com pickup order is generally returned to Best Buy within 15 days of pickup.
