These labels are not interchangeable:
- Founded by: people or organizations involved in creating or launching the company.
- Partner: a business relationship that may include promotion, investment or collaboration.
- Owner: a person or entity with a documented equity or membership interest.
- Operator: the company or management team handling daily work.
Launch involvement therefore establishes who helped create Starforge, but it does not by itself reveal the final ownership split.
Is Starforge owned by OTK?
The public record supports describing OTK as a founding business partner and ownership participant, not as Starforge’s proven sole owner. Charlie White was publicly identified as OTK’s partner in creating Starforge. Public descriptions commonly connect that participation with Moist Esports. Accordingly, it is accurate to say that White/Moist was involved in Starforge’s creation. It is not accurate to publish a specific ownership percentage without corporate documentation.
What is the legal company behind the brand?
Official terms hosted by Jagex identify King Gaming Labs, Inc. as trading as StarForge Systems. The document is available at this PDF.
That identification answers the entity question, but it does not disclose King Gaming Labs’ shareholders, directors, voting rights or capitalization. A trade name and a legal corporation are related, but the brand name alone cannot show who owns the corporation.

Do individual OTK streamers own Starforge directly?
Not necessarily. If OTK owns an interest in Starforge, an individual OTK member could have an indirect economic connection through OTK without holding shares in King Gaming Labs, Inc. directly.

Has Starforge’s ownership changed since launch?
OTK’s membership and internal ownership have changed over time, but the reviewed sources do not establish a corresponding change in Starforge’s legal ownership. A definitive answer would require a current corporate filing, shareholder disclosure or first-party statement identifying a transfer.

Starforge’s statements about hand-building, testing and support should be weighed alongside those independently checkable purchase details. Ownership or creator affiliation is not a substitute for product-level comparisons.
