The 2026 Jeep Wrangler Moab 392 is a four-door Wrangler special edition with a 6.4-liter HEMI V8, 470 horsepower, 35-inch all-terrain tires and dedicated off-road equipment. Its starting MSRP is $79,995 before destination, or $1,995 more once Stellantis’ stated destination charge is added, bringing the advertised pre-tax total to $81,990.
What the 2026 Wrangler Moab 392 is
Jeep describes the Moab 392 as “the first drop from the Jeep Twelve 4 Twelve Program.” It combines the Wrangler’s four-door body with the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 and a factory off-road package aimed at buyers who want V8 performance without building a comparable vehicle from separate options.

How much it costs
Jeep lists a $79,995 starting MSRP. Stellantis says that price excludes a $1,995 destination charge, so the vehicle’s stated price before tax, title, registration, dealer fees and optional equipment is $81,990. Those additional costs vary by state and dealer and are not included in Jeep’s starting MSRP.

The $10,000 gap is calculated from Jeep’s published starting prices. Performance and practical limits
The HEMI produces 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. Jeep quotes a 4.5-second 0–60 mph time and a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds. The acceleration figure is a manufacturer claim, not an independent test result. No independent fuel-economy testing or long-term reliability study was identified for this model, so fuel costs and durability should be treated as open ownership questions rather than settled advantages.

Ordering and availability
Stellantis announced nationwide ordering through authorized Jeep dealers in all 50 states beginning January 15, 2026. Availability at an individual dealer, allocation timing and any market adjustment are separate questions. Ask for the vehicle’s itemized buyer’s order, including MSRP, destination, dealer fees, accessories and any markup, before placing a deposit.
What the lower price changes for a buyer
The Moab 392’s price places a V8 Wrangler below the previous high-priced 392 strategy while retaining major factory off-road equipment. That lower entry point can reduce the amount financed, but it does not make the vehicle inexpensive to own. A realistic budget should include taxes, registration, insurance, fuel, tires and maintenance alongside the loan payment.

- Add your state’s sales or use tax, title and registration costs.

Plan for consumables
Thirty-five-inch all-terrain tires are a standard feature, but they are also an expensive replacement category. Before buying replacement or upgrade tires, verify load rating, wheel width, offset, clearance and model-year fitment. Insurance premiums and fuel consumption may also be higher than on lower-output Wrangler trims; obtain quotes for your address and driving profile rather than relying on a generic estimate.
Who should consider it
- Good fit: a buyer who specifically wants a factory HEMI V8, four-door Wrangler utility and substantial off-road hardware in one package.
- Consider alternatives: a buyer whose priority is the lowest purchase price, commuting efficiency, towing above 3,500 pounds or predictable long-term operating costs.
- Check carefully: anyone financing near the limit of their budget, because destination, taxes, dealer charges and insurance can materially increase the total cost.
