What the 2025 Cyber Monday deal cost
Tom’s Guide reported on December 1, 2025 that Sony was selling 12 months of PlayStation Plus Premium for $107 in the U.S. and £80 in the U.K. The report described both prices as a 33% discount. Those figures applied to that limited Cyber Monday promotion and are historical, not current prices.
| Market | Cyber Monday 2025 price | Reported discount | Status on October 1, 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| United States | $107 for 12 months | 33% | Expired |
| United Kingdom | £80 for 12 months | 33% | Expired |
How much is 12 months of Premium now?
Sony’s current U.S. PlayStation Plus page lists the regular annual Premium plan at $159.99. Sony says paying for 12 months is 33% cheaper than paying monthly at the then-current monthly rate. That annual price is a standard listing, not a revival of the 2025 Cyber Monday promotion.
Prices, taxes, currency, and available promotions can differ by country. The local PlayStation Store checkout is the final authority for your account.

Who could receive a future discount?
Sony’s promotion terms say discounts can vary by region, membership tier, and eligibility. Account status may therefore affect whether a sale appears at checkout. Sony used this wording for its 2026 Days of Play promotion: “Players in participating countries who join PlayStation Plus during PlayStation’s Days of Play promotion can save up to 33% on a 12-month membership.”
That statement describes a separate promotion, not the expired Cyber Monday offer. For any future sale, confirm that your country participates, that Premium is included, and that your account qualifies before paying.

Will Premium renew automatically?
Yes. Sony states that PlayStation Plus subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current PlayStation Store price unless you cancel. A discounted first year does not lock in that promotional price for later years.
Before purchasing a sale, read the checkout renewal terms and note the next billing date and price. If you do not want another year, turn off automatic renewal through your PlayStation account’s subscription settings before the renewal date; access to the paid period generally continues until it ends.

- Explore uncharted virtual territories and slay dragons with this sleek Sony PlayStation 5 gaming console.
How to judge a new Premium sale
- Open your local PlayStation Store listing. Confirm the currency, annual price, and whether the offer is for Premium rather than a lower tier.
- Check eligibility language. Look for restrictions based on country, current tier, existing membership, or account status.
- Compare the annual total. Use the displayed annual price against the monthly total, not against the old $107 or £80 promotion.
- Review renewal details. Confirm the post-promotion price and the date automatic billing begins.
- Verify the benefits you actually need. Catalog access and cloud streaming may differ by region, and catalogs change.
Is Premium worth it for you?
Premium is most relevant if you expect to use cloud streaming, game trials, the Classics Catalog, or the broader Game Catalog. If you mainly want monthly games or online multiplayer and do not use those extras, compare the lower tiers on your regional PlayStation Store page before paying for Premium. The best value depends on the games and services available in your country, not simply on the headline discount.

Bottom line: The 33%-off PlayStation Plus Premium Cyber Monday deal was a December 2025 promotion priced at $107 in the U.S. and £80 in the U.K.; it has expired. The current U.S. annual Premium price is $159.99, and any new subscription renews automatically at the then-current price unless canceled.
