Important date note: The headline refers to a Windows Central roundup published and updated on December 1, 2025, for Cyber Monday 2025. “Ends tonight” applied to that day. The prices below are an archival snapshot, not live August 2026 offers; Dell changes configurations, inventory and promotions constantly. Check Dell’s current store and deal pages before buying.
The original list covered six laptops, nine monitors and three desktop PCs. Here is what each deal was aimed at, where the hardware made sense, and what to verify before treating a discount as genuinely good value.
Quick verdict on the 18 historical deals
| Need | Historical pick | Cyber Monday 2025 price | Why it stood out | Main caveat |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Cheapest capable laptop | Dell 15 | $349.99 | 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD | Core i5-1334U and basic display are not gaming-class |
| Larger productivity laptop | Dell 16 Plus | $549.99 | 16-inch 2.5K screen and newer Core Ultra hardware | 512GB storage may fill quickly |
| Premium productivity | Dell 14 Premium | $999.99 | 14.5-inch 2K 120Hz display and Core Ultra 7 | Judge build, battery, webcam and ports—not discount percentage alone |
| Budget gaming laptop | Alienware 16 Aurora | $849.99 | RTX 5050, QHD+ 120Hz panel | Confirm the GPU’s power limit and cooling |
| Office monitor | Dell 27 Plus QHD | $157.98 | 27-inch QHD, 100Hz and integrated speakers | Not a high-end creator display |
| Budget 4K monitor | Dell 27 Plus 4K | $224.99 | 3840×2160 resolution at 120Hz | Check that your chosen port supports the desired mode |
| Affordable ultrawide | Alienware AW3425DWM | $269.99 | 34-inch 3440×1440 at 180Hz | VA panel rather than OLED |
| Simple home computer | Dell 24 All-in-One | $679.99 | Display, keyboard and mouse included | Limited upgradeability |
| High-end prebuilt gaming PC | Alienware Aurora | $2,199.99 | RTX 5080 configuration | Compare cooling, proprietary parts and custom-build pricing |

Historical laptop deals
Dell 15 — $349.99
This was the low-cost general-purpose option. The 16GB of memory and 512GB SSD were sensible minimums for web browsing, schoolwork, office applications, streaming and light multitasking. The Core i5-1334U is a mainstream, low-power processor; it was not intended for demanding gaming, 3D work or workstation workloads. Buyers should also check the panel, webcam, port selection and whether memory is upgradeable.

#1 Best Overall
- Vibrant Visuals: Enjoy vivid, accurate colors with up to 300 nits brightness on a spacious 15" display featuring a sleek 3‑sided narrow bezel.
- AI Productivity: Boost efficiency with Intel Core Ultra processors and NPU‑powered AI features designed to keep multitasking smooth and responsive.
- Smarter Shortcuts: Use the dedicated Copilot key for instant access to your AI assistant, helping you organize, search, and work faster every day.
- Eye Comfort: Dell ComfortView reduces blue‑light emissions to help keep your eyes comfortable during extended viewing.
- Ergonomic Angle: Lifted hinges enhance typing comfort and support better airflow, helping your system run smoothly.
Dell 16 Plus — $549.99
The attraction was a larger 16-inch 2.5K display paired with newer Core Ultra hardware. It suited users who wanted more workspace for documents, spreadsheets and media than a typical 14- or 15-inch laptop. A 512GB SSD is adequate for normal productivity, but a large game library or video projects may require external storage. Current Dell laptop configurations should be checked at Dell’s laptop store.
Dell 14 Premium — $999.99
This premium, formerly XPS-style model had a 14.5-inch 2K display running at 120Hz, 16GB memory and a Core Ultra 7 processor. It made sense for buyers prioritizing construction, screen quality and portability over the lowest cost. Before paying a premium, compare battery estimates with independent testing, inspect the webcam and ports, and confirm whether the RAM and SSD can be replaced.
Alienware 16 Aurora — $849.99
The entry gaming configuration combined an RTX 5050, 16GB RAM, 512GB storage and a 120Hz QHD+ panel. It was the most accessible route into Alienware hardware, but high resolution increases the load on a mobile GPU. Ask for the exact graphics wattage and cooling design; the RTX model number alone does not predict frame rates.
Rank #2
- Effortlessly chic. Always efficient. Finish your to-do list in no time with the Dell 15, built for everyday computing with 13th Gen Intel Core i7-1355U processor
- Designed for easy learning: Energy-efficient batteries and Express Charge support extend your focus and productivity.
- Stay connected to what you love: Spend more screen time on the things you enjoy with Dell ComfortView software that helps reduce harmful blue light emissions to keep your eyes comfortable over extended viewing times.
- Type with ease: Write and calculate quickly with roomy keypads, separate numeric keypad and calculator hotkey.
- Ergonomic support: Keep your wrists comfortable with lifted hinges that provide an ergonomic typing angle.
Alienware 16X Aurora — $1,349.99
This stepped up to an RTX 5060, 32GB RAM, 1TB storage and a 240Hz QHD+ G-Sync display. The extra memory and storage improved longevity, while 240Hz primarily benefits competitive games that can produce very high frame rates. Weight, fan noise, battery life and upgrade access remain important trade-offs.
Alienware 16 Area-51 — $2,699.99
The enthusiast configuration used an RTX 5080, 32GB RAM, 1TB storage and a 240Hz G-Sync screen. It targeted buyers who wanted maximum laptop gaming capability and accepted a high price, substantial power draw and likely heavier chassis. Compare its total cost with a desktop and a less expensive laptop before treating the discount as exceptional.
Historical monitor deals by use case
Office and general use
| Model | Historical price | Key specification | Best fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dell 27 Plus QHD | $157.98 | 27-inch QHD, 100Hz, speakers, approximately 350 nits | Home office and everyday computing |
| Dell 27 Plus 4K | $224.99 | 3840×2160 at 120Hz | Sharper text, photos and mixed productivity |
| Dell 34 Plus | $329.99 | 34-inch 3440×1440, 120Hz, speakers | Side-by-side windows and wide timelines |
| Dell UltraSharp 27 Thunderbolt | $489.99 | QHD at 120Hz with Thunderbolt hub | One-cable laptop connectivity, if the ports meet your needs |
The UltraSharp’s value depended on the exact docking features. Confirm power delivery, Thunderbolt generation, upstream and downstream ports, Ethernet and the number of displays supported; a monitor with extra USB ports is not automatically a complete dock. Dell’s current monitor category is at Dell’s monitor store.
Rank #3
- 256 GB SSD of storage.
- Multitasking is easy with 16GB of RAM
- Equipped with a blazing fast Core i5 2.00 GHz processor.
Gaming LCD and ultrawide models
| Model | Historical price | Key specification | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alienware AW3225DM | $249.99 | 32-inch QHD VA, 180Hz | Value-focused LCD; no OLED contrast |
| Alienware AW3425DWM | $269.99 | 34-inch 3440×1440, 180Hz, FreeSync Premium | Ultrawide format and VA characteristics may not suit every game or desk |
Ultrawides are excellent for multitasking and immersive games, but application compatibility, screen sharing and console support can be less straightforward than with a conventional 16:9 display. Ensure your laptop or graphics card can drive 3440×1440 at the refresh rate you want.
OLED gaming models
| Model | Historical price | Key specification | Who should consider it |
|---|---|---|---|
| Alienware 34 QD-OLED | $499.99 | 3440×1440, 165Hz, curved QD-OLED | Players prioritizing contrast and color at an ultrawide resolution |
| Alienware 27 QD-OLED | $549.99 | QHD, 360Hz | Competitive gamers who value refresh rate over 4K detail |
| Alienware 32 QD-OLED | $799.99 | 4K, 240Hz | High-end systems capable of driving demanding games |
QD-OLED provides superior contrast and motion clarity, but static desktop elements create burn-in risk over time. Use the panel-care features, vary static content and follow Dell’s current guidance. A 4K 240Hz monitor also requires unusually powerful graphics hardware to exploit both settings simultaneously.
Historical desktop deals
Dell 24 All-in-One — $679.99
The package included a 23.8-inch Full HD display, Core i5-1334U, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, keyboard and mouse. It was the simplest choice for a tidy home office or family computer. All-in-ones reduce cable clutter but generally provide less upgradeability and repairability than a tower paired with a separate monitor.
Rank #4
- Edge-to-edge clarity: Enjoy crisp, expansive visuals on a 16" screen with up to FHD+ and a 16:10 aspect ratio—delivering a wide, immersive viewing experience.
- All-day comfort: Dell ComfortView Plus helps reduce harmful blue light emissions while preserving true-to-life color, keeping your eyes comfortable even during prolonged screen time.
- Ready for business: Flip between effortless productivity and captivating entertainment on a large, immersive screen powered by Intel Core 7-150U processor and graphics.
- Built for virtual connection: Bring your connections to life with an up-to FHD camera, designed with wide dynamic range and temporal noise reduction to deliver crisp, sharp images, no matter the lighting conditions.
- Adaptive thermals: Built-in technology allows your PC to sense when it's on a stable surface and adjusts its power and thermals to run more efficiently.
Dell Tower Desktop — $849.99
The listed configuration used a Core Ultra 7 265, 32GB RAM and a 2TB SSD, making it the more flexible productivity desktop. Verify the graphics hardware before buying it for games: integrated graphics are not equivalent to an RTX-equipped gaming PC. Also check power-supply capacity, expansion slots and wireless connectivity.
Alienware Aurora — $2,199.99
This prebuilt gaming system paired a Core Ultra 9 285K with an RTX 5080, 32GB RAM and a 1TB SSD. It suited buyers who wanted a ready-to-use high-end machine rather than a self-built PC. Compare component transparency, cooling, noise, proprietary motherboard or power-supply designs, upgrade paths, warranty service and the price of a comparable custom build.

- Match the exact configuration. Record the CPU, GPU, memory, SSD, display, operating system and wireless card. “Up to” savings may apply only to a different, expensive configuration.
- Check real market value. Compare recent street prices, not just Dell’s crossed-out “was” price. A discount is not automatically a bargain.
- Inspect display bandwidth. Confirm which port supports the advertised resolution and refresh rate. The cable and connected computer must support that mode too.
- Verify gaming limits. For laptops, check GPU wattage, cooling, fan behavior, weight and battery expectations. For desktops, confirm whether a discrete GPU is installed.
- Review upgradeability. Look for soldered memory, free SSD slots, proprietary boards and power supplies, and the manufacturer’s stated expansion limits.
- Read delivery and return terms. Build-to-order systems can ship later than ready-to-ship inventory. Confirm the return window, restocking rules and when warranty coverage begins.
- Calculate the complete cost. Include tax, required adapters, a monitor stand, software, support plans and financing repayment. A financing offer is not a discount unless the total repayment is lower.
- Recheck at payment. Prices can disappear, configurations can change, coupons can fail, and stock can sell out between the product page and checkout.
Should you consider Dell Outlet instead?
Dell’s official Outlet page lists refurbished and overstock laptops, desktops, monitors and accessories: Dell Outlet deals. The page has shown examples such as a Dell Pro Slim Desktop at $899.99, a Latitude 14 7455 at $999.99, savings of up to $900 on selected laptops and an automatic discount on some Alienware monitors. These are live-page promotional examples, not guaranteed prices for every configuration; inventory can change quickly.

Featured listings advertise free shipping, same-as-new warranty language and a price-match guarantee, but terms can vary by product. Dell’s certified-refurbished documentation says returned systems are retested against factory specifications, may have cosmetic blemishes and can differ in configuration or accessories from a new retail unit. The cited document specifies a 12-month hardware warranty and a three-month laptop-battery warranty for the region it covers; U.S. buyers should confirm the exact listing’s terms at purchase: Dell certified-refurbished terms.
Outlet is a strong option when price and specifications matter more than factory-sealed condition. It is a poorer fit if you require guaranteed cosmetics, exact accessories, a particular configuration or a new-product return policy.
What to use today
The 2025 list is useful as a benchmark for the kind of pricing Dell offered during that event, not as a current shopping page. For live products, availability and delivery estimates, start with Dell’s U.S. store, then compare the exact configuration with Outlet inventory.
