Short answer: GoCharting is most compelling for traders who want browser-based footprint, market-profile and order-flow tools. Its free tier is unusually capable for end-of-day analysis and replay, but real-time data, advanced order flow and execution are market-specific. Check the regional checkout page carefully before subscribing.

Pricing and feature snapshot checked August 16, 2026.

What is GoCharting?

GoCharting is a web-native, multi-asset charting, analysis and trading platform. Its main distinction is the combination of footprint or cluster charts, market and volume profiles, delta, time and sales, options tools and broker connections in a browser workflow. The company describes the platform at GoCharting.

It supports stocks, futures, crypto, forex and Indian markets, with availability depending on the selected plan and data provider. Browser access is advertised for Mac, Linux, Chromebook and iPad; an iPad app is listed in the Apple App Store. This is not necessarily a replacement for every desktop execution terminal: broker permissions, data entitlements, order types and performance remain connection-specific.

GoCharting pricing in 2026

The official U.S. pricing page shows separate products rather than one universal subscription. Prices below are the signals displayed on August 16, 2026; taxes, exchange fees, market-data entitlements and broker charges can be additional.

Market or region Free plan Paid price shown Qualification
U.S. stocks $0 $35/month Level 1; $49/month Level 2/3 Displayed as forthcoming or “Not Available”; confirm availability
CME futures $0 $35/month Seven-day trial language appears on the page; exchange and professional-user rules may apply
Crypto and forex $0 $20/month Currency Premium Coverage varies by exchange and feed
India $0 Separate plans NSE, BSE and MCX pricing is not equivalent to the U.S. packages

See GoCharting’s U.S. pricing page, India pricing and the general plans page before paying. The U.S. page advertises approximately 16% savings with annual billing, while another pricing page says savings can reach 20%; treat those as page-specific claims, not a universal discount.

Free plan and trial terms

The free account is described as free forever, with no card required and no stated expiry. The same U.S. page also says paid plans include a seven-day free trial, while marking some packages unavailable. Confirm the selected region, whether a card or crypto payment is required, the conversion date and what happens to layouts after downgrade. The FAQ says plan changes and cancellation are handled in the Billing tab of the user profile.

What the free plan includes

  • NASDAQ and NYSE end-of-day data and CME futures end-of-day data.
  • Bar replay, basic market profile and volume profile.
  • More than 100 prebuilt indicators, indicator-on-indicator use and drawing tools.
  • Chart-data export, historical financial data and corporate-event information.
  • Five watchlists, up to 100 symbols per watchlist and up to 30 saved workspaces.
  • One device, two charts per tab and four concurrent charts in the comparison table.

The charting feature page also advertises 15-plus chart types, including Renko, Kagi, Range Bars, Line Break, Footprint/Cluster and Point & Figure. Availability can still depend on the market and feed, so verify the live feature table at GoCharting’s charting page.

This makes the free tier useful for learning chart tools, replaying historical sessions and doing end-of-day research. It is not a full real-time futures order-flow setup.

What requires a paid plan?

Real-time and intraday data

Paid market packages are aimed at real-time exchange data, intraday spreads and custom intervals, including seconds- and tick-based views. A software subscription does not automatically grant every exchange entitlement.

Order-flow and profile tools

Depending on market and plan, paid features include footprint and imbalance charts, delta, cumulative volume delta (CVD), Commitment of Traders, Power Trades, time and sales, advanced market and volume profiles, DOM integrations and delta-based scanners.

Alerts, options and workspaces

Higher tiers can add custom alerts, webhooks, expanded watchlists and workspaces, options chains, a 32-strike display, strategy-builder functions, Greeks and implied-volatility tools where supported.

Trading connections

GoCharting advertises one-click trading, chart and watchlist order entry, and connections including Rithmic and Tradovate. It also promotes workflows for firms such as Topstep, Apex and FTMO. Verify the exact account, instrument, permissions and data connection: advertised compatibility is not a guarantee that every account routes orders.

Is GoCharting good for futures and order flow?

This is its strongest apparent use case. Footprints, imbalance views, delta, CVD, time and sales, profiles, DOM connections and replay are concentrated in one browser workspace. That can be attractive to a futures trader using a Mac, Linux machine or Chromebook, or to someone testing order-flow concepts before buying specialist software.

Software capability is different from feed quality. Delta and footprint interpretation depends on the completeness, classification and latency of the underlying bid/ask and market-depth feed. There is no independent evidence here establishing superior accuracy, latency, fills or slippage versus Sierra Chart, Bookmap or exchange-native tools.

Options, devices and direct trading

GoCharting promotes options chains, strategy building and analytics, but those features should be treated as platform capabilities rather than proof of specialist-level execution or historical-volatility coverage. Check regional availability.

Browser access avoids a Windows virtual machine and is useful on Mac, Linux, Chromebook and iPad. Browser memory use, multi-monitor performance, mobile parity and behavior during the market open require testing; the available evidence does not establish uptime or latency benchmarks.

GoCharting reviews: what users like

Company-selected testimonials praise footprint charts, delta visibility, options analytics, browser access and portable workspaces. These demonstrate intended use cases, not independent testing.

Anecdotal Trustpilot reviews mention the functionality of the free plan, footprint charts, Mac/browser usability, price relative to some competitors and more charting capacity than users perceive on TradingView’s free tier. Review-site samples are self-selecting and cannot establish typical performance.

Complaints and limitations to consider

  • Some reviewers describe confusion about free accounts, paid trials, billing and cancellation.
  • Support responsiveness and feature behavior receive mixed anecdotal comments.
  • Marketing feature lists may not match every regional plan or data feed.
  • Real-time depth, execution quality and chart latency have not been independently benchmarked in the available evidence.
  • A browser platform depends on stable internet access and may behave differently across devices and chart loads.

Before relying on it for live decisions, validate the exact feed, symbols, order routing and risk controls in a simulated or low-risk workflow.

GoCharting versus alternatives

Platform Price signal Best fit Main trade-off
TradingView Annual promotional prices shown from $12.95/month Essential to $199.95/month Ultimate General charting, alerts, apps, social publishing and broad coverage Order-flow specialization is less central; professional real-time data may cost extra
Sierra Chart $36, $46 or $56/month listed integrated packages Deep desktop futures customization, market depth and execution workflows Windows-oriented and less browser-simple; data/services can be separate
Bookmap $19 Digital, $49 Digital Plus or $99 Global monthly options shown Liquidity heatmaps and order-book visualization Real-time futures and stock data fees are not included
ATAS Package-dependent Specialist footprint, MBO, heatmap and DOM workflows Less suited to a browser-first, free-forever starting point
Quantower Free, crypto, multi-asset and all-in-one licenses vary Modular desktop broker and data-feed connectivity Requires assembling a desktop/data setup

These prices are not like-for-like total costs. Compare software, exchange data, market depth, broker service, taxes and execution requirements together.

Who should use GoCharting?

It is a strong candidate if you:

  • Need footprint, profile or order-flow tools in a browser.
  • Use Mac, Linux, Chromebook or iPad.
  • Trade a supported futures, crypto, forex or Indian market.
  • Use Rithmic, Tradovate or another supported connection.
  • Want replay and substantial charting before committing to a subscription.

Be cautious if you:

  • Need guaranteed real-time data for a particular exchange or highly latency-sensitive strategy.
  • Require market-by-order reconstruction, extensive custom desktop studies or multi-monitor specialization.
  • Depend on a large public script and social ecosystem.
  • Need broad broker coverage or institution-grade compliance tooling.
  • Expect one payment to include all data, depth and execution costs.

Signup checklist

  1. Select the correct region and confirm symbols, exchange hours and real-time versus end-of-day status.
  2. Check whether the required Level 1, Level 2/3 or market-depth entitlement is included.
  3. Confirm broker or feed support, account permissions and order types.
  4. Screenshot the trial, monthly or annual terms and record the billing date.
  5. Check cancellation in the profile’s Billing area and whether data entitlements cancel separately.
  6. Price exchange fees, broker charges, taxes, currency conversion and any professional-user fees.
  7. Test the exact footprint, DOM, options or alert tools you need before using the platform live.

Verdict

GoCharting is a credible browser-first alternative for traders whose priority is order-flow and profile analysis, especially on non-Windows devices. Its free plan is genuinely useful for end-of-day work, replay and learning. Pay only after confirming that your market, data entitlement, broker connection and required advanced tools are available under the specific regional plan. TradingView remains the better fit for social charting and public scripts, while Sierra Chart, Bookmap or ATAS may suit traders demanding deeper desktop customization or specialist market-depth workflows.
