Tom’s Guide updated its roundup on December 1 and reported that Black Friday was over while Cyber Monday sales remained active. Claire Davies of Tom’s Guide described the situation this way: “Black Friday’s finished, but there’s still time to grab a deal in the Cyber Monday sales.”

Which 2025 deal suited each type of buyer?
Best for service and firmness choice: Saatva Classic
The Saatva Classic stood out for shoppers who valued in-home delivery, a long home-testing period and a lifetime warranty. Best package value for bedding: DreamCloud or Bear
DreamCloud’s offer bundled substantial bedding, and Bear paired its percentage discount with free bedding. If you needed sheets, pillows or a protector anyway, calculate the value of those items at realistic replacement prices rather than treating the accessory list as cash savings.

Should you have bought during Cyber Monday?
For the 2025 shopping calendar, buying on Cyber Monday was reasonable if the mattress, size and terms already met your requirements. Tom’s Guide still found the Saatva promotion active on December 1, and the retailer circular gave several Tempur-Pedic terms through December 2. That did not guarantee that every brand, size or inventory position would remain available until the deadline.
A practical decision rule was:
- Choose the mattress and firmness first, without looking at the discount.
- Compare the delivered total for the required size, base and accessories.
- Read the checkout page for the expiration date, exclusions and code requirements.
- Buy only when the trial, return process and warranty fit your risk tolerance.
Because these promotions ended in 2025, do not assume a current Cyber Monday or Black Friday offer will repeat the same percentage, price or free-gift package.

How to check trial, warranty and delivery terms
A sale price matters less if the policy makes an unsuitable mattress expensive to return. Before paying, confirm:
- Whether the trial begins on order, delivery or another date.
- Whether a minimum break-in period is required before a return.
- Who pays return or pickup costs and whether the original delivery fee is refundable.
- Whether the warranty covers sagging, defects and the bed base you plan to use.
- Whether white-glove delivery includes setup, old-mattress removal or only room-of-choice placement.
- Whether promotional bedding or accessories must be returned with the mattress.

Dollar discounts
A fixed amount, such as $400 or $200, is easier to verify but may represent a very different effective discount on a twin versus a king. Compare the before-and-after price for the exact configuration.
Free bedding and accessories
Free items can be useful, but their value depends on whether you need them and whether the offer requires a specific mattress, code or bundle. Confirm sizes, materials, shipping and return treatment before assigning a dollar value.
