It operates through offices and subsidiaries worldwide, so the company’s headquarters, a customer’s seller, and a product’s manufacturing location may all be different.
Anker’s current corporate pages identify Changsha as headquarters. The company also has a substantial international network and uses regional legal entities for sales, contracts, support, and other local operations.
The short answer: Anker is based in Changsha, China
Anker’s English Our Story page says Anker Innovations is headquartered in Changsha, Hunan, China. Its Chinese corporate site likewise identifies Changsha as the headquarters and says the company has more than 30 offices worldwide.
Anker says it was founded in 2011 by Steven Yang, also identified in Chinese materials as Yang Meng. “Anker” commonly refers to the charging and power-products brand, while Anker Innovations describes the broader corporate group.

Anker lists a corporate address at Room 701, Building 7, Zhongdian Software Park, 39 Jianshan Road, Hi-Tech Zone, Changsha City, Hunan Province, China. That is a company-listed address, not necessarily a public visitor center or the location of every executive, engineering, or customer-service team.
For the direct corporate-location question, the answer is therefore Changsha, Hunan, China—not the United States.
Why do some sources associate Anker with Shenzhen?
Shenzhen appears in Anker’s historical and affiliate footprint. The company developed in China’s broader Shenzhen technology ecosystem, and Anker-related entities and older records may show Shenzhen addresses. Anker’s privacy materials, for example, list Shenzhen Oceanwing Smart Innovations Technology Co., Ltd. in Shenzhen’s Nanshan District.
That does not create a current headquarters contradiction. A subsidiary, registered office, operating site, or historical address can be in Shenzhen while the parent company’s current official headquarters is in Changsha. Anker’s current English and Chinese corporate pages give Changsha as the headquarters answer.

Corporate headquarters, local seller, and factory are different things
“Where is Anker based?” can refer to several different facts:
- Corporate headquarters: Changsha, Hunan, China.
- Regional operations: offices, employees, warehouses, support teams, and subsidiaries in multiple markets.
- Contracting seller: the legal entity named on a particular order, invoice, or terms page.
- Manufacturing location: the country or countries involved in making a specific product.
A local seller’s address does not move Anker’s global headquarters, and a shipping address does not identify a factory. These distinctions matter for warranties, returns, governing law, taxes, privacy notices, and import arrangements.
How global is Anker?
Anker says it has more than 30 offices worldwide. Its corporate site lists locations or offices in China, Japan, South Korea, India, Australia, the United States, Canada, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. Its recruitment site names a broader employment and market footprint that includes countries such as France, Malaysia, Mexico, Thailand, Poland, Colombia, Chile, Sweden, Turkey, Russia, Brazil, Italy, and the Philippines. A listed country does not necessarily mean that every location contains a full corporate headquarters; it may represent hiring, sales, support, or another regional function.
In company-issued global-offering materials, Anker says its products were sold in more than 180 countries and regions and that it had more than 200 million global users as of December 31, 2025. The same materials report that 96.6% of 2025 revenue came from overseas markets. These are company-reported figures, not independent measurements, and they can change.

Which brands belong to the Anker group?
The corporate group extends well beyond phone chargers. Anker’s corporate and privacy pages identify these principal brands and businesses:
- Anker: chargers, power banks, cables, wireless charging, docks, and related power products.
- Anker SOLIX: portable power stations, home batteries, solar-storage, and backup-power systems.
- soundcore: earbuds, headphones, speakers, and other audio products.
- eufy: smart-home, security, cleaning, and related connected devices.
- Nebula: projectors and entertainment hardware.
- AnkerWork: work, conferencing, and communication products.
- eufyMake: a newer creative-tools and 3D-printing-related brand referenced in Anker’s privacy materials.
Anker’s Chinese corporate homepage groups Anker, eufy, and soundcore around charging and energy storage, smart innovation, and smart audio/video. The group privacy notice covers multiple brands, so a brand name on a product does not necessarily identify a separate parent company.
Who is the legal seller for U.S. customers?
U.S. availability does not make Anker an American company. Anker’s regional terms of service identify local contracting entities for consumer transactions.

For U.S. SOLIX transactions, the terms identify Anker Solix Limited, registered at 5350 Ontario Mills Pkwy, Suite 100, Ontario, California 91764-5137. Anker cautions that the applicable entity can vary by product, order confirmation, invoice, or other transaction document.
Consequently, a U.S. receipt may show a U.S.-registered company even though Anker Innovations is headquartered in China. The regional entity is the contracting seller for that transaction; it is not the same question as the parent company’s headquarters.

- the regulatory label on the device or power adapter;
- the model-specific product page and manual;
- the invoice or import documentation where applicable.
Do not infer a product’s manufacturing country from Anker’s headquarters, a seller’s address, a warehouse, a shipping origin, or “designed by” wording.
What Anker’s location means when you buy
Warranty and returns
The entity named in your order and the regional terms that apply can affect return procedures, statutory consumer rights, warranty administration, taxes, and shipping. Save the invoice and check the terms for the country where you purchased.
Customer support
A Chinese headquarters does not by itself indicate that support is unavailable locally. Regional websites, offices, contracting entities, and support channels may serve customers in their own markets. The practical question is which support and warranty policy applies to your product and purchase location.
Privacy and data handling
Brand and device privacy notices can identify the relevant controller or group entities, account requirements, cloud features, and storage choices. Headquarters alone cannot answer how a particular eufy, soundcore, Anker, or other device handles data; review the current, device-specific notice.

Shipping, tax, and import
The seller, fulfillment route, and destination can determine whether tax is collected at checkout, whether import charges apply, and which company appears on your invoice. Those details are transaction-specific rather than evidence of where the parent company is based.
Bottom line
Anker is a Chinese-founded, China-headquartered global company. Anker Innovations’ current official headquarters is in Changsha, Hunan, while Shenzhen remains part of its historical and affiliate footprint. The group operates internationally through dozens of offices and regional entities, and the legal seller on your receipt may be a company in the United States, Europe, Japan, or another market. None of those local addresses changes the headquarters answer: Anker is based in Changsha, China.
