Hermes UK is now Evri. Start with Evri’s official Help & Support centre; it still includes a “Contact Hermes” label for people using the old name. Choose the route for tracking, delivery changes, a complaint, an account issue or another enquiry. For parcel updates, tracking or diversion is usually more direct than contacting an adviser.
Why you cannot find a separate Hermes contact service
Hermes UK rebranded as Evri in March 2022. The classic MyHermes website closure notice directed customers to evri.com after 21 February 2024, although legacy names can still appear in support labels and email domains. These instructions apply to Hermes UK/Evri, not unrelated businesses using the Hermes name.
Open the official Evri Help & Support centre by typing the address yourself rather than using a link in an unexpected text or email.
Choose the right way to contact Evri
| What you need | Best starting route | Information to have ready |
|---|---|---|
| Delivery status or a missed delivery | Help & Support, then tracking or the relevant delivery FAQ | 16-digit tracking number; an 8-digit calling-card number may also help |
| Change where a parcel is delivered | Use Evri’s diversion option from its support or tracking flow | 16-digit tracking number and delivery postcode |
| Complaint about a service | Evri’s customer-service route in “How do I complain about one of your services?” | Tracking number, dates, delivery details and a clear description of the problem |
| General, account or sending problem | Select the matching category or FAQ in the Help & Support centre | Account details or parcel information, if relevant |
| Suspicious message claiming to be Evri | Do not use its phone number, link or reply address; open evri.com independently | Keep the message as evidence if reporting it |
Step-by-step: contact Hermes/Evri safely
- Go directly to Evri Help & Support.
- Select the issue category or search the FAQ. For a simple delivery question, check tracking before opening a general enquiry.
- Enter the 16-digit tracking number supplied by the retailer or sender. If a courier left a calling card, its number may be eight digits.
- For an eligible diversion, enter the tracking number and delivery postcode. Evri may offer delivery to a neighbour or safe place, a ParcelShop or a Locker; choices depend on the parcel and service.
- For a complaint, follow the customer-service link in Evri’s complaint FAQ and include the relevant parcel number, dates and outcome you want.
- Check the live Evri page for the channel’s current opening hours before relying on a phone or chat route.
Evri phone number and opening hours
Evri’s official 10 November 2023 announcement listed 0330 808 5456. That announcement said callers could leave a message 24 hours a day, with advisers available Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, and Saturday, 8am–2pm. Because the announcement is from 2023, treat the number and hours as date-sensitive and verify them on Evri’s current contact page before calling.

- Clear LCD Display: Large, backlit screen makes weights easy to read, even in dim rooms.

Evri’s complaint FAQ gives customer-service hours of 8am–6pm, Monday–Saturday. Those hours describe the complaint customer-service route and differ from the narrower adviser hours in the 2023 phone announcement. Do not assume one schedule applies to every channel.
Evri called chat the quickest contact method in that 2023 announcement. That was a statement about the service at the time, not a current guaranteed response speed.

How to make a complaint
Use the customer-service route linked from Evri’s FAQ, “How do I complain about one of your services?”. State what happened, when it happened, the tracking number, any calling-card details, and the resolution you are seeking. Save screenshots and correspondence so you can refer to the same facts if you need to follow up.
How to spot fake Hermes or Evri contact details
Do not call a number or use an address supplied in a suspicious message. Evri’s guidance says genuine Evri SMS messages will not ask for payment and will include only a tracking link, but a link that appears to match the expected format is not proof that it is genuine. The safest approach is to navigate independently to Evri’s website and use its Help & Support centre.

When you do not need to contact an adviser
If you only need an estimated delivery update, start with tracking. If you will be absent, Evri’s missed-delivery FAQ explains available alternatives. Diversion choices are parcel-specific, so an option shown for one shipment may not appear for another.
