The U.S. offer has ended: Samsung’s stated purchase window ran from September 4 through October 5, 2025, and offered a $50 Samsung Credit only with a qualifying purchase. As of August 16, 2026, Samsung is selling the tablets rather than offering that reservation promotion; its current offers page advertises up to $500 in instant trade-in credit, subject to eligibility.

Which Galaxy Tabs did the reservation cover?
The campaign was for Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S11 series: the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. “Latest” can be ambiguous, though. Samsung’s catalog also includes newer or lower-priced listings such as the Galaxy Tab S10 Lite and Galaxy Tab A11+; those were not identified as part of the S11 reservation offer. Samsung identifies the S11 series as its latest flagship Galaxy Tabs on its U.S. mobile page.
What was the reservation offer?
Samsung’s U.S. launch terms offered a $50 Samsung Credit to customers who reserved a qualifying Galaxy Tab and then purchased the reserved device during the stated September 4–October 5, 2025 purchase window, while supplies lasted. A reservation by itself was not a cash rebate or a completed purchase. The credit depended on making a qualifying purchase and following the offer terms; it should not be treated as a guaranteed reduction in the tablet’s price. Can you still reserve a Galaxy Tab S11?
No—not under that launch offer. Its promotional window has passed. The current route is to check Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S11 page for purchase availability and offers, or compare retailer and carrier listings. Samsung’s current offers page advertised up to $500 in instant trade-in credit for the series when checked on August 16, 2026. That is a maximum, not a guaranteed credit, and current terms can change.
How reservation differed from pre-order and purchase
- Reservation: Recorded interest in a device and could qualify a customer for the launch promotion if its conditions were met. It did not, by itself, complete a sale.
- Pre-order: Placed an order before general availability. The reservation and pre-order were distinct steps.
- Purchase: Completed the transaction required to qualify for the historical credit.
The available terms establish the reward and dates, but do not establish that a reservation guaranteed stock, a particular configuration, shipping priority or a delivery date. They also do not support assuming that every reservation form had the same fields or process. For any future promotion, follow the live terms and confirm eligibility at checkout; do not assume an old reservation will carry over.

What distinguishes the Tab S11 from the S11 Ultra?
The clearest distinction is screen size: Samsung lists an 11-inch display for the Tab S11 and a 14.6-inch display for the Tab S11 Ultra. The smaller model is the more portable choice; the Ultra gives more room for split-screen work, drawing and media, at the cost of a larger device. Samsung says the redesigned S Pen is included with and compatible with S11-series models, and positions the line around Galaxy AI, multitasking and DeX. Samsung also lists IP68 water and dust resistance, subject to its stated conditions.
Galaxy AI should not be read as a promise that every feature works offline or across every app. Samsung’s S11 product information notes that some AI functions require a network connection and Samsung account, and availability can vary by app or device.

How to assess Samsung’s current trade-in offer
Samsung advertised up to $500 in instant trade-in credit for the S11 series on its U.S. offers page as of August 16, 2026. The actual value depends on the device and its condition; the headline maximum does not establish what any particular tablet will receive. Check the estimate and full terms during the current purchase process before comparing the net cost with another model or retailer.
Samsung’s trade-in terms require the old device to meet eligibility checks. Among other conditions, it must power on and hold a charge, its display must work, and it generally cannot have prohibited cracks, liquid damage or serious defects. Remove personal information and disable software locks; the device must be yours, not leased. Samsung says the old device must be sent within 15 days of receiving the qualifying purchase. If inspection finds it ineligible or the deadline is missed, the expected credit may be reduced or charged back under the terms. Review the current terms on the S11 page before shipping a device.

- Choose the Tab S11 if you want the flagship line’s included S Pen and productivity features in an 11-inch format, and value portability over maximum screen area.
- Choose the Tab S11 Ultra if a 14.6-inch display is central to your work or creative use and you accept the larger form factor and flagship cost.
- Consider the Tab S10 FE+ if you want a larger 13.1-inch display and features such as microSD expansion at a lower launch price than the flagship tier.
- Consider the Tab S10 Lite for everyday entertainment, browsing and lighter school tasks.
- Consider the Tab A11+ when low price or a family- and child-oriented configuration matters more than the S11’s flagship feature set.
Samsung lists Samsung Care+ and trade-in services on its S11 page; both are optional considerations, and coverage, eligibility and credit values are governed by their current terms. Do not assume the expired $50 reservation credit can still be redeemed for a tablet, accessory or protection plan.
