To view Zelle payments, sign in to the bank or credit union account linked to your Zelle enrollment. Open its Zelle or payments section and look for Activity, History, or a similar option. If the Zelle view does not go back far enough, check the linked account’s transaction history and statements, or ask the institution what older records it can provide. There is no single Zelle screen or universal history period that shows every payment.
Where to find Zelle payments in your bank app
- Sign in to the right institution. Use the official app or website for the bank or credit union account connected to your Zelle enrollment. Zelle is offered through participating institutions’ mobile apps and online banking; your institution controls the screen labels and layout. See Zelle’s help center.
- Open the Zelle feature. In the bank’s app or website, look for a Zelle section. Depending on the institution’s layout, it may sit under Payments, Transfer, or Move Money.
- Choose the activity or history view. Look for Activity, History, or a similarly named payments view. Review the available dates and payment statuses, and check whether it includes sent, received, or requested payments.
For example, Bank of America says its Zelle Activity view includes incoming and outgoing payments, both pending and completed. That is a description of Bank of America’s view, not a guarantee about every bank’s app. See Bank of America’s Zelle FAQs.
How to find older Zelle transactions
A Zelle Activity screen may show a shorter period than the bank’s account records. Search the transaction history for the checking or savings account used with Zelle, and check downloadable statements for the dates you need. The available detail and record period depend on your institution; statements are not guaranteed to preserve every detail shown in a Zelle activity view, such as a memo or recipient contact information.
Wells Fargo illustrates why it helps to check both places: its FAQ says Zelle Activity displays payments sent, received, or requested in the last 24 months, while Account Activity can search sent or received Zelle payments from the last 18 months. Bank of America likewise advises checking account details for older transactions than those available in its Zelle Activity view. If the app and statements do not cover the period you need, contact your bank or credit union and ask what historical records are available.
Why you may not see every payment in one place
“All” does not necessarily mean an unlimited, centralized Zelle archive. The bank or credit union determines the available interface and date range, and separate Zelle and account-history screens may show different periods or payment details. If you need a complete record for a particular date range, check each relevant account view and ask the institution whether it can retrieve older records.

Can you use the old Zelle app to view history?
No. Zelle’s October 31, 2024 announcement said standalone-app users could access their transaction history until March 2025. Zelle’s current data center says the standalone app is no longer accessible. Use the bank or credit union where your Zelle payments were linked instead. See Zelle’s announcement.

For Zelle enrolled through a bank or credit union’s app or online banking, contact that institution about payment records or account-related issues. Zelle directs those users to their financial institution for help; use the number on your debit card or the institution’s official website. Its support page explains where to get assistance.

A missing-history question is different from a suspected scam or unauthorized payment. If you think a transaction is fraudulent or part of a scam, report it promptly to your institution through an official channel. Zelle’s fraud and scam guidance also directs customers enrolled through a bank or credit union to report the issue there.
