Google AI Plus launched in Brazil on October 7, 2025. As of August 18, 2026, Google’s Brazilian subscription page lists it at R$24.99 per month with 400 GB of storage shared across Drive, Gmail and Google Photos. It adds higher Gemini usage limits and other AI tools, but it is not unlimited access. Whether it is good value depends on how much you will use the AI features—and whether you can use the storage.
What Google AI Plus includes now
AI Plus is a personal Google subscription bundling Gemini access, creative and research tools, supported Google app features and cloud storage. It is not a separate chatbot account or a business Google Workspace plan. Google’s current Brazilian plan page lists these benefits; feature availability can vary by country, language, age and product.
| Benefit | What Google lists for AI Plus in Brazil |
|---|---|
| Price | R$24.99 per month, as displayed on Google’s Brazilian subscription page on August 18, 2026 |
| Storage | 400 GB shared across Google Drive, Gmail and Google Photos |
| Gemini app | Usage limits listed as twice those of the free version, plus access to additional features. Google describes access to Gemini 3.1 Pro and limited access to Gemini Omni Flash on its plan pages; model availability and limits may vary. |
| Google Flow | 200 credits. Credits are a usage allowance, not a cash balance or a guaranteed number of videos; consumption depends on the generation model and feature used. |
| Gemini Notebook | Expanded access, including five times more Audio Overviews, according to the Brazilian plan page |
| Google apps | Gemini features in Gmail, Vids and other supported Google applications |
| Family sharing | Benefits may be shared with up to five additional family members, subject to Google’s eligibility and feature rules |
Google’s Brazilian subscription page and Google One AI plans page describe the current offer. Listed usage limits are not a promise of unlimited prompts or generations.
What changed since the Brazilian launch
At launch, Google described AI Plus as its most affordable paid AI subscription in Brazil, priced at R$24.99 a month with 200 GB of storage. The current Brazilian plan page lists 400 GB instead. Older launch coverage and screenshots may therefore show an allocation that no longer matches the current offer. Google also says the former Google AI Premium plan is now called Google AI Plus and includes the same benefits, including 400 GB.

The original announcement highlighted features and model names available at the time, including Nano Banana, Veo 3 Fast, Whisk, Flow, Gemini in Gmail and Docs, NotebookLM and family sharing. For what is included today, use Google’s current plan pages rather than treating that launch list as a current feature guarantee. What you can use the AI features for
Writing and work in Google apps
The plan includes Gemini features in Gmail and other supported Google applications. That can be useful if you want AI help within Google’s tools rather than switching to a separate service. The specific apps and features available to you depend on Google’s rollout and account requirements; check the current plan details for your account and region.
Research and Audio Overviews
AI Plus provides expanded Gemini Notebook access, including five times more Audio Overviews than the baseline identified on Google’s Brazilian plan page. This may suit readers who use notebook-style research features, but the allowance should not be confused with unlimited use.
Images and video
Google lists more access to Nano Banana in Search and video-generation features, along with 200 Flow credits. Flow credits are consumed according to the chosen model and generation feature, so the credit count does not translate into one fixed number of videos.

Storage across Google services
The 400 GB quota is shared by Drive, Gmail and Photos rather than assigned separately to each service. It can add value for someone who already stores files, email and photo backups in Google’s ecosystem. It does not remove the quota: once shared storage is full, uploads, email or backups can be affected.
How AI Plus compares with Google’s higher tiers
The prices below are the figures shown on Google’s Brazilian subscription page on August 18, 2026. Google can change prices, taxes, billing terms and offers, so verify the checkout price before subscribing. Ultra displays two price and usage levels, rather than one single price.
Rank #4
| Plan | Listed Brazilian price | Storage | Best understood as |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google AI Plus | R$24.99/month | 400 GB | Entry-level paid AI access with storage and a modest increase over free Gemini limits |
| Google AI Pro | R$96.99/month | 5 TB | Higher AI usage limits and broader access to tools, including developer-oriented products |
| Google AI Ultra | R$779.90/month or R$999.90/month, depending on the displayed usage tier | At least 20 TB | Highest access limits and premium benefits, aimed at intensive users |
Google lists Gemini limits at twice the free version for Plus and four times the free version for Pro; these are relative limits, not a fixed prompt count. Pro also raises access to tools such as Flow, Gemini Notebook, Search features and developer products. Ultra has substantially higher allowances. The right comparison is not simply “more is better”: consider whether you will use the higher limits and additional storage enough to justify the monthly difference. Details are on Google’s Brazil plan comparison and Google One AI plans page.
Is AI Plus worth R$24.99 a month?
It may be worthwhile if
- You want paid Gemini access but do not expect to need Pro-level usage limits.
- You already use Drive, Gmail or Photos and can make practical use of the 400 GB shared quota.
- You want a bundle of Google AI tools rather than paying only for extra cloud storage.
- Your household can share the eligible benefits and storage under Google’s family rules.
It may be poor value if
- You need unlimited AI use, the highest model allowances, stronger research access or developer quotas.
- You mainly need storage and rarely use Gemini; compare the plan with a conventional Google One storage option before paying for AI features you may not use.
- You use a work or school Google Workspace account and need business administration. Consumer AI plans require a personal Google Account; Workspace users may need an applicable Gemini add-on.
- You expect every AI feature to work in Brazil, Portuguese, on every device, or for users under 18. Some features have country, language, age or product restrictions.
- Your main reason to subscribe is ad-free YouTube; AI Plus does not include the same YouTube benefit as higher tiers.
For a single subscriber who rarely reaches the free Gemini limits and does not need more storage, the monthly fee may not pay for itself. For an existing Google One user who will use both the additional storage and AI tools, the bundle is more compelling.

Check eligibility and family sharing before paying
Google says AI plans require a personal Google Account and availability in a supported country; Brazil is listed. Some AI features and the Gemini app in these plans are limited to people aged 18 or older. A company or school account may not be able to purchase the consumer plan.
Google says plan benefits can be shared with up to five additional family members. That does not mean six separate subscriptions, and sharing a plan does not guarantee that every family member can use every AI feature. Google’s family-group rules and feature-specific age, country and language restrictions still apply. Review the current eligibility details in Google’s plan information and AI plan eligibility guidance.
How to subscribe
- Open Google’s Brazilian AI subscription page.
- Sign in with the personal Google Account you intend to use for billing, Gemini and storage.
- Select Google AI Plus and review the checkout screen’s price, renewal terms, taxes and included benefits.
- Confirm payment, then open Gemini or a supported Google app to access the included features.
- Check your Google One account settings to confirm the active plan and storage allocation.
Menus and labels can differ across web, Android and iOS or by account region. If the checkout screen differs from a page or screenshot, rely on the current terms and price shown to your signed-in account before confirming.
Could Itaú or Vivo make it cheaper?
Google’s 2026 Google for Brazil announcement describes partnerships offering access to Gemini AI Plus through Itaú and Vivo. It does not establish that every customer qualifies, how long access lasts, or the activation steps. Some customers may qualify for promotional or complimentary access; check the current offer and terms directly through Google’s announcement and the partner’s official channels before paying for a separate subscription.
The free Gemini tier is another option if you want to try Google’s AI without adding a monthly bill. If you are comparing other AI services, assess their Brazilian billing, Portuguese-language performance, storage, image or video tools, research features, integrations and family or business support. Their plans are not directly comparable on price or included services without checking their current terms.
