Amazon’s Black Friday 2025 event began on November 20 and ran through December 1, including Cyber Monday. Black Friday itself fell on November 28. The event has ended; this recap covers the schedule, deals Amazon highlighted and the shopping pattern it used.
When did Amazon Black Friday start in 2025?
Amazon’s Black Friday Week began November 20, 2025, at 12:01 a.m. Pacific. Offers continued through December 1, the end of Amazon’s Cyber Monday event. Black Friday was November 28—the Friday after Thanksgiving—so Amazon’s promotion started eight days before the holiday itself.

What kinds of deals did Amazon advertise?
Amazon promoted millions of deals across home, electronics, beauty, apparel, kitchen, toys and books, with new deals dropping daily. Its event preview advertised discounts of up to 55% on select home products, up to 50% on select Amazon devices and electronics, up to 50% on select Ninja kitchen appliances, and up to 80% on Kindle books. These were advertised maximum discounts, not a promise that every item in a category would be reduced by that amount.
Which early Amazon Black Friday deals were highlighted?
Amazon’s early-deal roundup named these offers. The percentages are the advertised maximum discounts; actual prices and availability could change during the sale.

Was there an Amazon sale before Black Friday Week?
Yes. Amazon Haul ran a separate promotion on November 10–11, 2025. Amazon advertised products as low as $0.11, with items generally priced at $20 or less. That promotion preceded Black Friday Week; it was not the start date of the main event.

How could shoppers track deals during the event?
Amazon recommended organizing items in Lists, Cart and Save for Later, and using Alexa+ sale notifications. It also promoted Rufus for recommendations, comparisons and price monitoring. Amazon said Rufus could monitor a requested price target every 30 minutes and automatically complete a purchase if the item reached that target. Anyone using an automatic purchase feature should check its settings and payment details before enabling it.

The 2025 schedule shows that Amazon’s promotion was an extended event, not just a one-day sale: a separate Haul promotion came first, Black Friday Week opened on November 20, new deals appeared during the event, and offers continued through Cyber Monday on December 1. That is a useful precedent, not confirmation of a future schedule; Amazon’s next dates and offers need to be checked when announced.

- Make a shortlist before the event and save the items you actually want, so daily deal drops are easier to assess.
- Compare the exact model or generation, not just the product family name, and judge a discount against the live price rather than the advertised maximum.
- Check the listing price, stock and shipping eligibility at the time you plan to buy. Amazon warned that deals and availability could change.
Prime Video also planned 15 hours of free live sports programming on Black Friday, alongside a Shop the Game experience. It was an entertainment tie-in to the event, rather than a product discount.
