Short answer: the widely shared T3 roundup is a 2024 Black Friday article, last updated 3 December 2024. Its Citizen, Tissot and other prices should be treated as historical examples, not live bargains in September 2026. The only current official offer identified for this update is Citizen US’s Zenshin Chrono at $405, with $675 shown as the original price. That is a US listing, not proof of a UK deal or continuing stock.
What the original Black Friday roundup actually covered
T3’s article, by Sam Cross, was labelled as a Black Friday deals roundup and last updated on 3 December 2024. It targeted shoppers who missed the main Black Friday and Cyber Monday window but were looking for late discounts. The page also says, “When you purchase through links on our site, we may earn an affiliate commission.”
Because those prices and “still available” claims described the final days of the 2024 sale cycle, they cannot be presented as current offers in 2026 without checking the exact watch, retailer, seller and stock again.

Citizen US states that the offer includes free UPS 2-Day shipping, free returns, a 30-day money-back guarantee, a five-year limited warranty and complimentary bracelet sizing. Sizing may add one to two business days before shipment. These are US terms and should not be assumed to apply to UK purchases, VAT, import charges or a UK-authorised retailer.
How to decide whether a late watch deal is genuinely good
- Match the exact reference. Check the model number and variant, including dial colour, movement, case size, bracelet or strap and whether the watch is new, open-box or pre-owned.
- Compare like with like. Use the same currency and region, and compare the selling price with a defensible current reference price rather than an old “was” price alone.
- Check who is selling it. Confirm that the retailer is authorised or has a verifiable reputation, and identify the actual marketplace seller if the listing is hosted by Amazon or another platform.
- Read delivery and returns. Confirm destination, taxes, duties, delivery estimate, return window and who pays return shipping.
- Verify warranty coverage. A manufacturer warranty may depend on an authorised sales channel and may differ between US and UK editions.
- Save the terms. Keep a dated screenshot or order confirmation showing price, reference, seller, stock status and promotional conditions.
UK shoppers: why the dollar listing is not a UK deal
The Citizen Zenshin Chrono listing is from Citizen US. A UK buyer should not convert $405 and treat the result as a delivered UK price: exchange rates, VAT, import charges, warranty handling and return logistics can materially change the cost. The available evidence does not establish current UK Rolex or Tissot offers, exact UK prices or stock.

For a UK purchase, look for a UK-authorised retailer page for the exact reference and confirm that the displayed price includes applicable taxes. Do not substitute a pre-owned listing for a new-watch promotion without stating the condition and comparing warranty terms.

A credible late-sale claim needs a current product page, an exact reference, a seller and region, a stated price and usable returns. The 2024 T3 examples satisfy the historical part of that description, but not the current-stock test. Citizen’s US Zenshin Chrono page satisfies the current-listing test observed on 28 September 2026, while its US-only terms limit how broadly the offer can be applied.
