Recommended Free Tools
Leadhooper is a small-business CRM with a $0 free plan and a paid plan currently displayed at $20 per user per month, or $10 per user per month when billed annually. The free tier is limited to one user and 300 contacts. Leadhooper could suit a small team needing lead capture, follow-ups, tasks, appointments and basic reporting, but its public review evidence is very limited and some plan details are unclear. Test the free account or request a demonstration before moving important customer data.
Leadhooper pricing at a glance
The official pricing page currently presents two labels for the paid offer—“Infinity” and “Launch.” Confirm the exact plan name and entitlements at checkout.
| Plan | Displayed monthly price | Displayed annual price | Users and contacts | Main capabilities shown |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | $0 | 1 user; up to 300 contacts | Lead management, user management, tasks and follow-ups, reports, forms, Google Calendar booking and basic access/location functions |
| Infinity/Launch | $20 per user/month | $10 per user/month billed annually | Multiple users; unlimited contacts | Free-plan functions plus custom workflows, caller integration, Meta/email integration, multi-location features and additional controls shown in the comparison table |
See the official Leadhooper pricing page for the live offer. It says no credit card is required to start and lists “Cancel Anytime.” The annual note refers to “50% off for first 50 user,” which is grammatically unclear. Treat $10 as a displayed promotional price, not a guaranteed permanent rate, and confirm eligibility, renewal pricing, taxes and minimum seats before paying.
What team sizes would cost
Using the published per-user figures (not a quoted invoice), two users would be $40 per month at the monthly rate, five users $100, and ten users $200. At the displayed annual rate, the corresponding monthly equivalents would be $20, $50 and $100, before confirming that the promotion applies to your account.

What Leadhooper is—and what it is not
Leadhooper’s official site positions it as an AI-powered, chat-based CRM for small businesses. Its core job is to capture and organize leads, manage contacts, assign work, schedule appointments, track deals and follow up with prospects. It also promotes multiple-location operations, team collaboration and Meta Ads connectivity.
This is different from a website-visitor-identification or account-intelligence service. A conflicting third-party description at GeekChamp should not override Leadhooper’s own CRM positioning.
What the free plan includes
The free plan is presented as an ongoing $0 tier rather than a time-limited trial. Its practical constraints matter more than the headline feature list:
Rank #2
- One user.
- Up to 300 contacts.
- Lead capture through forms, lead management and user management.
- Tasks, follow-up management and reports.
- Google Calendar appointment booking and basic profile, access-control and location functions shown in the comparison table.
It is a realistic starting point for an owner or single salesperson with a small database. Before reaching 300 contacts, ask whether new records are blocked, whether duplicates count, what happens to deleted contacts and whether an export is available. Export your data before changing plans.
What the paid plan adds
The paid Infinity/Launch offer is shown as adding unlimited contacts and multiple users, which are the biggest differences for a growing team. The pricing and feature pages also associate the paid offer with:
- Custom workflows and broader automation.
- Caller, Meta and email-related integrations.
- Multi-location operation, role and permission controls.
- API access and third-party integrations shown in the comparison table.
- Automation, reminders, campaigns, customization and additional support claims.
The public table uses checkmarks and images extensively and does not map every item cleanly to a plan. The pricing page mentions email integration, while the features page labels email integration “Coming Soon.” Verify each integration, API entitlement, message limit, storage allowance and support level before purchase. Do not assume that a “24/7 support” or onboarding statement applies to every tier.

Leadhooper features by workflow
Capture, import and qualify leads
The feature list includes lead capture, imports, lead profiles, activity history, distribution, qualification, search and filtering. These functions support a process in which inquiries enter one system, are assigned to a person and are prioritized for follow-up.
Manage contacts and relationships
Contact profiles, relationship records and communication history are intended to keep context with the customer rather than in separate spreadsheets or inboxes. Confirm which communication channels are synchronized and whether historical data can be imported in the fields you need.

Run pipelines and deals
Leadhooper lists pipeline overviews, stages, deal management, deal probability, forecasting, collaboration and deal history. That is a conventional sales pipeline, not evidence of advanced revenue attribution or predictive analytics.
Handle tasks and follow-ups
Users can create and assign tasks, set priorities and due dates, track status, maintain centralized follow-up records, set reminders and convert follow-ups into tasks. This is likely the most useful area for a small team that currently loses leads between calls and spreadsheets.
Schedule appointments
The feature page lists scheduling, appointment types and reminders, with calendar integration. Email integration is marked “Coming Soon” there, so ask whether appointment emails and two-way synchronization are live in your region and plan.
Operate across locations
Multiple locations, access controls and team collaboration are central to the product’s positioning. The public pricing does not state location limits, location-based billing or the exact permissions available to managers, so obtain those rules in writing if you run branches or franchises.
Best Value
Report, customize and export
Leadhooper lists dashboards, reports, custom dashboards, notes, attachments, a form builder and CSV export. The pages do not publish detailed reporting definitions, API documentation or export coverage for files and activity history.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What does “AI-powered” mean?
Leadhooper repeatedly uses “AI-powered” and “AI chat-based CRM” language, but its public pages do not identify the specific AI functions, usage limits, training-data policy, privacy controls or separate charges. They also do not establish whether AI creates summaries, recommendations, reports or customer responses. Ask for a live example, plan availability, limits and data-handling terms rather than assuming an AI sales assistant is included.
Leadhooper reviews: useful signal, not proof
The clearest independent listing is Techjockey’s Leadhooper page. It displays a 5/5 score based on one published review, while also showing “4 Ratings & 1 Review.” That internal counting inconsistency makes the sample even harder to interpret.
| Evidence | What it tells you | How much weight to give it |
|---|---|---|
| Leadhooper’s website | Product positioning, prices and claimed features | Useful for scope; not independent validation |
| Techjockey | One verified review dated August 3, 2024, rated 5/5 | Anecdotal; far too small for a market-wide conclusion |
| Other major review databases | No substantial review corpus is established here | Do not claim broad customer consensus |
The reviewer, identified as a verified CTO at an IT company with 2–100 employees, praised custom workflows, ease of use, lead and user management, task management and cost-effectiveness, and reported no significant disadvantages. That is a positive individual experience—not evidence of typical results, conversion improvements, reliability or support quality for every industry.
Who should consider Leadhooper?
Good reasons to try it
- You need a lightweight CRM rather than a large marketing suite.
- One user and 300 contacts are enough to start.
- You need lead distribution, reminders, tasks, appointments and basic reporting.
- You operate multiple locations and want centralized access controls.
- The displayed per-user price is materially below alternatives you have verified.
- You are willing to validate integrations and product maturity directly with the vendor.
Reasons to choose something else
- You require a mature integration ecosystem, advanced marketing automation or omnichannel campaigns.
- You need enterprise governance, audit logs, compliance documentation or contractual SLAs.
- You require a documented mobile app, public API or sophisticated enrichment and intent data.
- You want extensive independent reviews or a long, independently documented operating history.
- You need email synchronization now and cannot accept ambiguity about its availability.
Alternatives to compare
Use the following vendor pages to compare categories, not unverified current prices or feature claims:
- HubSpot CRM for a broad, recognizable ecosystem.
- Zoho CRM for broad SMB CRM functionality and configuration.
- Freshsales for sales-focused automation.
- Pipedrive for pipeline-centric sales management.
- Salesforce for mature ecosystem and extensibility, usually with heavier implementation.
- LeadSquared for lead-management and marketing/sales automation needs.
Questions to ask before subscribing
- Is the $10 annual price available to all new customers, and what is the renewal price after the promotion?
- Is billing per user, account, location or workspace, and are there minimum seats?
- What happens at 300 contacts, and do duplicates or archived records count?
- Are forms, Meta Ads, email, SMS, caller integration, API access and automation included in the quoted plan?
- Is email integration live or still “Coming Soon”?
- What does AI do in daily workflows, what are its limits, and how is customer data handled?
- Is there a mobile app or mobile-responsive interface?
- Can contacts, activities, notes and files be exported after cancellation?
- What support channels and response times apply to each plan?
- Are taxes, GST, payment fees or currency conversions added at checkout?
Final verdict
Leadhooper’s combination of a genuine free tier, a low displayed per-user price and core lead-follow-up tools makes it worth testing for a small business. The free plan is appropriate when one user and 300 contacts cover your needs; the paid plan becomes relevant for additional seats, unlimited contacts, workflows and multi-location operations. However, the 5/5 review signal comes from only one published review, pricing labels are inconsistent, and feature availability is not fully documented. Start free or request a demo, capture the checkout and renewal terms, and verify integrations, exports, AI behavior and support before committing to a migration.
