8 Best Landing Page Makers for Conversion-Focused Campaigns

Leadpages is a strong default for lead generation, but the best landing-page maker depends on traffic, testing needs, CRM workflow, design control, and whether you need a full funnel or website.

The best landing-page maker depends on what happens before and after someone clicks: a simple waitlist page, a paid-ad test, a CRM handoff, or a multi-step checkout need different tools. For most teams focused on lead generation, Leadpages is the strongest starting point; Unbounce suits paid-ad experimentation, Instapage suits complex enterprise campaigns, and HubSpot is a natural choice when leads must flow into its CRM. Webflow and Wix fit broader websites, Carrd fits simple low-cost pages, and ClickFunnels fits complete sales funnels. None guarantees more conversions: the offer, audience, message match, page experience, and measurement matter as much as the software.

Quick comparison: which landing-page maker fits?

Platform Best for Native testing Pricing signal Main drawback
Leadpages Lead-generation pages and accessible experimentation A/B testing reported on Grow Grow reported at $99/month monthly or $79/month annually as of July 2026 Less design freedom than Webflow; less enterprise personalization than Instapage
Unbounce Paid-ad campaigns and variant routing Plan-dependent; reported on higher tiers Comparison sources reported plans from $29/month to about $149/month, depending on tier Visitor limits can make successful campaigns more expensive
Instapage Enterprise paid-media operations Reported on the higher Optimize tier Create reported around $99/month; Optimize around $199/month Cost and complexity are hard to justify for small campaigns
HubSpot Pages connected to CRM and follow-up Depends on selected product and edition Varies by products, edition, contacts, and features Poor value if only a standalone page is needed
Webflow Design control and full marketing sites Not its primary strength; external tools may be needed Comparison coverage reported paid plans from about $14/month; plan type matters Steeper learning curve and more hands-on page production
Wix Small businesses needing a complete website Native A/B testing was not listed on its plans in July 2026 comparison coverage Light reported from about $17/month on annual billing; region and term matter Less suited to systematic experimentation
Carrd Simple one-page campaigns on a tight budget No native A/B testing reported Pro plans reported around $9–$49 per year, depending on tier Limited workflows for testing, CRM, and complex forms
ClickFunnels Multi-step sales funnels Check current plan for specific testing features Current pricing and inclusions should be checked directly Overkill for an isolated lead-capture page

Pricing and feature gates above are reported signals, not guaranteed current quotes. They can change by date, billing term, geography, taxes, and plan. Verify the vendor’s current offer before buying. For a lower-cost starting point, consider whether an existing site platform already meets the need; for sustained paid acquisition, compare the cost of testing tiers, visitor caps, and downstream tools rather than just the entry price.

What a landing-page maker does—and what it does not

A landing-page maker creates a focused page around one primary action: booking a consultation, requesting a demo, starting a trial, downloading a guide, registering for a webinar, buying a product, or joining a waitlist. It differs from a homepage, which usually serves multiple audiences and offers many routes through a site.

Product categories overlap, but they are not interchangeable:

#1 Best Overall
WebSite X5 Home 10 [Download]
  • No programming skills required
  • With 1 licence you can install the software on 2 computers and create as many sites as you wish
  • 250 professional and customizable templates
  • Import images and videos (including YouTube), editor for creating buttons
  • Automatic HTML5 code generation + FTP engine for publishing your website
  • Landing-page specialists: Leadpages, Unbounce, and Instapage focus on campaign pages and conversion workflows.
  • CRM ecosystem: HubSpot connects pages with contact records and follow-up tools.
  • General website builders: Wix and Webflow can make landing pages as part of a broader site.
  • Minimal one-page builder: Carrd is for lightweight, responsive single pages.
  • Funnel platform: ClickFunnels organizes a sequence of pages and offers, not just one page.

A builder can make publishing, measurement, and experimentation easier. It cannot guarantee a higher conversion rate. Results depend on the audience, offer, traffic quality, ad-to-page message match, mobile experience, form friction, trust, and follow-through.

The 8 best landing-page makers, by use case

1. Leadpages: best overall for lead generation

Leadpages is the best default for a small team that wants dedicated lead-generation pages, forms, integrations, and a relatively straightforward path to testing without building a broader marketing site. Its platform materials describe templates, drag-and-drop editing, conversion tracking, forms, webhooks, CSV export, and integrations including HubSpot, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, Shopify, and Meta Ads. See Leadpages’ landing-page platform and integration list.

As reported in July 2026, its Grow plan was $99 per month with monthly billing or $79 per month on annual billing, and included A/B testing. The Optimize tier was reported at $199 monthly or $159 annually and added features such as heatmaps. The same comparison reported no traffic caps across plans; that does not mean leads, email sends, CRM capacity, or other connected services are unlimited. A seven-day trial requiring a card at checkout was also reported. Check the current Leadpages pricing page before committing.

Choose it when conversion pages and native experimentation matter more than highly art-directed design or complex funnel operations. Webflow offers more design control, Instapage targets more complex ad personalization, and ClickFunnels is better aligned with multi-stage sales journeys.

2. Unbounce: best for paid-ad experimentation

Unbounce is aimed at marketers and agencies that continuously run paid campaigns and want to create variants and route traffic. Its product information describes landing pages, Smart Builder, Smart Traffic, popups, sticky bars, and campaign tools. Smart Traffic is intended to route visitors toward a page variant predicted to suit them; it is algorithmic routing, not the same thing as a conventional controlled A/B test. See Unbounce’s landing-page product overview.

Reported pricing is inconsistent across comparison material: one source cited Starter at $29 per month, while other reported tiers were around $99 for Build and $149 for Experiment, with testing associated with a higher tier and visitor limits varying by plan. These are not dependable current quotes. Check Unbounce’s pricing page for today’s traffic allowances, testing access, and overage terms.

Unbounce makes sense when paid traffic and frequent campaign iteration justify a specialist subscription. It is harder to justify for one low-volume page, and visitor-based limits can make costs rise as a campaign succeeds. Smart Traffic does not compensate for weak traffic, a poor offer, or an unsound test.

3. Instapage: best for enterprise paid-media teams

Instapage fits larger advertisers and agencies coordinating many campaigns, ad groups, variants, reviewers, and personalization rules. Its positioning includes ad-to-page alignment, campaign workflows, and collaboration capabilities; its AdMap-style workflow is intended to connect ads with relevant landing pages. See the Instapage landing-page platform.

Comparison coverage reported Create at about $99 monthly or $79 annually and Optimize at about $199 monthly or $159 annually, with A/B testing on Optimize rather than Create and visitor caps on self-serve plans. Treat those figures as dated indications and confirm plan limits and contract terms on Instapage’s plans page.

Its price is more defensible when campaign scale and coordination needs are substantial. Smaller teams may pay for complexity they do not use, and a landing-page platform may still need separate CRM, analytics, and email tools.

4. HubSpot: best when the CRM handoff matters

HubSpot is a strong choice when the conversion is the start of a sales or nurturing process, not merely an email address in a form. Pages and forms can connect to HubSpot contact records and the surrounding CRM ecosystem, making it easier to manage qualification, attribution, and sales follow-up. See HubSpot’s landing-page product information.

  • Create websites using over 240 templates
  • Modular website builder with over 1,000 design elements
  • Web design software with over 130 photo filters
  • Animation & effects
  • 2 GB web storage & domain*

The trade-off is that page functionality sits inside a larger platform, and costs depend on the products, edition, contacts, and features selected. If the need is just one inexpensive standalone page, that ecosystem can be excessive. Review HubSpot’s marketing pricing and confirm which experimentation and automation features are included in the specific edition.

5. Webflow: best for design control and a broader site

Webflow is well suited to designers, agencies, and marketing teams that want close control over layout, responsive behavior, interactions, and a reusable design system while building a broader marketing site. It can be a site foundation rather than a collection of isolated campaign pages. See Webflow’s landing-page capabilities.

The flexibility brings a steeper learning curve and more responsibility for mobile layouts, asset weight, accessibility, and consistency. Conversion experimentation is not its central strength, so teams may need external analytics or testing tools. Comparison coverage reported paid plans from about $14 per month, but the applicable site and workspace plan depends on the build; check Webflow’s pricing page.

Choose Webflow when brand expression and site architecture are more important than an out-of-the-box testing workflow. Visual polish alone does not establish that a page will convert better.

6. Wix: best for an all-purpose small-business website

Wix is practical for local businesses, freelancers, and small companies that need a complete website alongside landing pages, forms, appointments, or ecommerce. That can be simpler than assembling a separate website and a specialist campaign tool. Its general-purpose positioning is reflected in its landing-page and website-builder overview.

  • Create websites using over 240 templates
  • Modular website builder with over 1,000 design elements
  • Integrated search engine optimization (SEO) tools
  • GB web storage & domain*
  • Web design – no programming experience required

It is less compelling for teams that need systematic native experimentation: comparison coverage noted no native A/B testing on the listed plans as of July 2026. That is a dated finding, so verify current features. A Light plan was reported from about $17 per month on annual billing, with regional and billing differences; see Wix plans.

Choose Wix for a broader small-business web presence, not because its templates alone will improve campaign conversion.

7. Carrd: best for inexpensive, simple one-page campaigns

Carrd is a good fit for a waitlist, portfolio, basic lead-capture page, product announcement, or small event page with one clear action. Its focus is responsive one-page sites, and comparison coverage reported Pro plans in the range of roughly $9 to $49 per year depending on tier. Current features and prices are listed at Carrd Pro.

It is not the right foundation for complex forms, personalization, multi-step funnels, or a sustained testing program; comparison coverage reported no native A/B testing. Separate tools for analytics, CRM, email, or automation can also erase the apparent savings. For a one-off page, however, paying for an enterprise optimization suite may solve a problem that does not yet exist.

8. ClickFunnels: best for complete sales funnels

ClickFunnels is designed for journeys with several stages—such as opt-in, order form, upsell, and confirmation—rather than an isolated page. That makes it more relevant to course sellers, coaches, and businesses that need page-to-page progression and checkout within a funnel workflow. See ClickFunnels’ landing-page and funnel overview.

How to choose for your traffic, budget, and workflow

Start with the job rather than the template gallery. Use these rules to narrow the list:

  • One simple waitlist or event page, little traffic: Carrd is likely enough; an existing CMS or Wix may also work if it is already in place.
  • Lead generation with built-in testing: Start with Leadpages and check whether the relevant tier includes the specific tests and integrations you need.
  • Continuous paid acquisition: Compare Unbounce and Instapage against expected monthly visitors, campaign count, routing and personalization needs, and collaboration requirements.
  • Existing HubSpot CRM: Evaluate HubSpot first to avoid duplicating forms, tracking, automation, and synchronization.
  • Distinctive brand and a full marketing site: Webflow is the stronger design-led option; Wix is more approachable for an all-purpose small-business site.
  • Several steps through checkout and upsells: Consider ClickFunnels rather than forcing a single-page tool to manage a funnel.

For agencies, also verify client workspaces, roles, approval workflows, reusable components, white-labeling, billing separation, and export options. For ecommerce, test the entire route through product selection and checkout, including variants, coupons, payment, shipping, and analytics. For international or regulated campaigns, investigate localization, regional payment methods, data residency, consent, retention, access controls, and contractual terms; the presence of a form or integration does not establish legal compliance.

Use a buying checklist before subscribing

  • Primary job: One page, many campaigns, a full site, or a multi-step funnel?
  • Conversion action: Lead, sale, booking, trial, download, or phone call?
  • Plan gates: Are testing, domains, pages, team members, custom code, heatmaps, and integrations included where you need them?
  • Traffic model: Are limits based on visits, unique visitors, page views, sessions, contacts, or leads? What happens at the cap?
  • Post-conversion flow: Where do submissions go? Test CRM creation, notifications, automation, consent records, duplicates, attribution, and fallback behavior.
  • Measurement: Can you see visits, conversions, source attribution, and experiment results clearly? Can UTM values survive the handoff?
  • Operational fit: Can nontechnical staff safely publish changes? Are approvals and roles adequate?
  • Total cost and exit: Add CRM, email, analytics, testing, overages, integrations, and staff time. Check what data, pages, assets, tracking settings, and domain configuration can be exported.

What improves conversions, regardless of platform?

  • Match the promise: Keep the headline and offer consistent with the ad, search query, or link that brought the visitor.
  • Focus the page: Give it one audience, one primary offer, and one dominant call to action instead of homepage-style navigation and competing choices.
  • Make the value concrete: Explain the benefit in customer terms and place relevant proof near the decision point.
  • Keep forms proportionate: Ask only for information needed for the next step; extra fields can add friction.
  • Design for mobile: Check form controls, image crops, sticky elements, keyboard behavior, consent boxes, and loading on a real phone.
  • Measure the full handoff: Submit a test entry and confirm the lead reaches the right system with source information intact.
  • Keep the page fast: Scripts, fonts, images, popups, and tracking tags can all affect rendering. Test the published page rather than relying on a platform-wide speed claim.

When to A/B test—and when not to

Native testing is valuable when traffic is sufficient for a meaningful comparison, campaigns run continuously, and the team has a hypothesis about a specific barrier. It is not mandatory for validating an idea with very limited traffic or launching a simple one-off page. There is no universal traffic threshold: useful sample size depends on baseline conversion rate, the smallest improvement worth detecting, number of variants, traffic consistency, conversion value, and the statistical method and stopping rule.

Fifteen conversions in a month do not automatically make a page ready for reliable multi-variant testing. Low-volume teams are often better served by qualitative customer feedback, checking the full funnel, and making a larger offer or message change than splitting scarce traffic to test button colors. Do not stop a test merely because one variant looks ahead early; plan the hypothesis and stopping method before starting.
