Best Paramount+ bundle: Walmart+
Walmart+ includes a choice of one ad-supported streaming service, including Paramount+ Essential or Peacock. The supplied Walmart information showed standard Walmart+ at $98 per year and Walmart+ Student or Assist at $49 per year, subject to eligibility and current terms.
Walmart+ can be the better overall purchase if you already use Walmart delivery, fuel savings, and shopping benefits. It is not simply a cheaper Premium subscription: the included Paramount+ benefit is Essential. Any Premium upgrade should be treated as an additional cost unless checkout clearly says otherwise.

Walmart+ is a poor fit if you need Premium, do not use Walmart’s other benefits, or already have a directly billed Paramount+ subscription. Selecting the streaming benefit may create overlapping or separate billing rather than automatically transferring your existing account.
Walmart+ Student and Assist
Eligible students and government-assistance recipients may qualify for the discounted Walmart+ tiers. Compare the $49 annual membership with Paramount+’s direct student offer, especially if you want Premium rather than Essential.

This is usually better than the two-month promotion for a student who wants Paramount+ for much of the year. Walmart+ Student may be preferable if Walmart’s delivery and shopping benefits are also useful.

If you only need Paramount+ for March Madness or another short event, the reported $2.99 promotion is the logical first choice when available. Pick Essential if the required game or local CBS stream is available on that plan and ads are acceptable.
Premium is the safer choice when you need Premium-level live programming, Showtime, downloads, or fewer ads on eligible on-demand content. It may also be required for particular sports or live CBS features, but the exact requirement can vary by market and event. Check the event listing and plan details before subscribing.
The same caution applies to UFC, NFL on CBS, and UEFA Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League coverage: rights and access can vary by location and plan.

How to avoid a surprise renewal
- At checkout, confirm the promotional price, number of promotional months, and first regular-price renewal.
- Record the subscription date and renewal date.
- Set a calendar reminder before the third billing cycle for the two-month offer.
- Cancel through the company that bills you—Paramount+, Apple, Google, Amazon, Roku, Walmart, or another provider.
- Keep the confirmation email or screenshot showing the cancellation and end date.
For most Paramount+ subscriptions, cancellation stops the next renewal but access continues through the paid billing period. Taxes may be added. If you subscribe through a third party, Paramount+ may not be able to cancel that billing relationship for you.
