Bundil appears to be closed. Founder Dmitri Love said the cryptocurrency round-up app shut down in 2023, and later reporting says its Apple and Google Play listings disappeared. The company’s website, enjoybundil.com, is still online, but its old download prompts and product information are not reliable evidence that the service still operates.
Kevin O’Leary’s offer also apparently did not become a completed investment. Love accepted the deal on television, but post-show reporting says it fell apart during due diligence.

What was Bundil?
Bundil was a fintech app that automatically rounded up purchases and directed the spare change toward cryptocurrency. The idea resembled savings and investing apps that collect the difference between a purchase and the next whole dollar, except Bundil’s intended destination was crypto.

Those features and pricing details come from Bundil’s old website and should be treated as historical product claims, not current capabilities.
What happened on Shark Tank?
Dmitri Love appeared on Shark Tank Season 10, which aired in 2018. He asked for $100,000 in exchange for 10% of Bundil.
Kevin O’Leary made an offer that Love accepted on air. Secondary accounts describe the offer as a $100,000 loan in exchange for 50% equity. Because published recaps differ in how they summarize the structure, the safest conclusion is that O’Leary sought a substantially larger stake than Love’s original 10% offer.

The televised handshake was not the same as a finalized investment agreement. As summarized by SlashGear, Love later said the deal fell apart during post-show due diligence. In other words, Love accepted O’Leary’s offer on the program, but there is no reliable evidence in the available reporting that O’Leary became a continuing Bundil investor.
Did Bundil continue after the episode?
Yes. Bundil continued operating for several years after its television appearance. Retrospective coverage says the company expanded compatibility to hundreds of banks and was still operating in 2022, with reported annual revenue below $1 million.
That post-show survival is important: Bundil did not disappear immediately after the episode, even though the O’Leary deal apparently failed to close. The company continued trying to build a consumer crypto product without treating the televised offer as proof of long-term funding.

When did Bundil shut down?
Love said Bundil had failed and shut down in early 2023. A separate company timeline identifies June 2023 as the end of the relevant Bundil period. Since secondary reports use both descriptions, it is more accurate to describe early to mid-2023 as the approximate shutdown period rather than claim an exact date.
Love’s reported retrospective included the view that he should have considered a pivot or new direction sooner. Coverage also points to the challenges of competing in fintech and crypto, attracting funding, differentiating the product, and scaling a service based on relatively small recurring contributions.
Those factors provide context, not a definitive single cause. The available evidence does not establish that one competitor, regulation, exchange partner, or funding event directly caused Bundil to close.

Is the Bundil app still available?
The official website remains accessible, but it appears to contain legacy material, including app-download language, hiring references, partner information, historical FAQs, and a former $5-per-month price.
More recent reporting says Bundil’s Apple and Google Play listings disappeared. The available evidence does not verify a current official listing or a functioning service. The practical conclusion is that the Bundil app does not appear to be available through the official major app stores, and readers should regard Bundil as shut down despite the surviving domain.

What happened to customers’ money?
The available sources do not provide a complete, current, primary-source account of Bundil’s wind-down process. The old website said Bundil used a third-party custodian, could support withdrawals in fiat or cryptocurrency, and did not directly hold users’ crypto. Those statements describe the historical service and are not a guarantee that withdrawals or support remain available today.
Former users should:
- Check bank statements, wallet records, and transaction history for past Bundil activity.
- Use only a verified official support or account channel, if one can be independently confirmed.
- Avoid entering passwords, recovery phrases, private keys, or banking credentials into replacement websites or unofficial support accounts.
- Never provide a cryptocurrency seed phrase or private key to process a routine withdrawal.
The evidence does not support claiming that users lost their money, nor does it support promising that funds can still be recovered through Bundil.
What is Dmitri Love doing now?
After Bundil, Love founded Peas Technology, a separate fintech venture focused on shared finances for couples, including money management, bills, savings, and household financial coordination. Peas should not be described as a Bundil relaunch or rebrand.
Why the Bundil story matters
Bundil illustrates two distinctions that are easy to miss in Shark Tank updates:
- An accepted television offer is not necessarily a completed investment. Deals can change or fail during due diligence after filming.
- An online domain is not proof of an operating business. Product pages and download buttons may remain online after an app has disappeared from official stores.
It also shows the difficulty of turning an appealing automation feature into a durable financial business. Round-ups can make investing feel effortless, but the company still needs enough users, revenue, reliable financial connections, custody arrangements, and a clear reason to choose it over broader savings, investing, or crypto platforms.
Beware similarly named apps
Products such as Bundole and Bundul are separate services. Their existence does not show that the original Bundil app from Shark Tank is still operating.
