Sweet Security announced a $33 million Series A on March 6, 2024, about six months after emerging from stealth with a $12 million seed round. Evolution Equity Partners led the financing, joined by Munich Re Ventures and Glilot Capital Partners. The company said it would use the money to expand its U.S. go-to-market efforts and develop its cloud runtime security platform.

Why the round followed stealth by six months
Sweet Security was founded in Tel Aviv in January 2023. In August 2023, it emerged from stealth with a reported $12 million seed round backed by Glilot Capital Partners and angel investors. The Series A announcement came roughly six months later.

Co-founder and chief product officer Eyal Fisher told SecurityWeek that the seed financing enabled the company to open a U.S. office and enter the U.S. market. He said the Series A was intended to support further U.S. market activity and product development. The expansion rationale is therefore the company’s stated plan, not evidence that the funding itself produced particular commercial results.

What Sweet’s cloud runtime security platform did
At the time of the 2024 raise, Sweet described its product as a unified cloud runtime security suite. The company said a patent-pending eBPF-based sensor identified anomalies across applications, networks and non-human identities—such as service accounts and other machine identities. It presented the platform as covering detection and response, vulnerability management, runtime posture enhancement and non-human identity management.
Those descriptions reflect the vendor’s positioning in its 2024 announcement, not an independent product evaluation. Terms such as “first-to-market” and claims about reducing noisy alerts should be treated as company characterizations rather than verified comparisons with other security products.

What happened after the Series A
Sweet announced a $75 million Series B in November 2025, led by Evolution Equity Partners. The company said the round brought its total funding to $120 million. In the same release, Sweet reported sixfold annual recurring revenue growth and a tenfold increase in enterprise customers over the preceding year; those are company-reported figures, not independently audited metrics. Sweet’s November 12, 2025 announcement provides the company’s account.
In July 2026, Sweet announced additional agentic AI security capabilities. The company said its platform could block unauthorized agent tool calls and sessions, prevent sensitive information from leaving through an agent, and block prompt injection in real time. These are vendor-announced capabilities, not independently tested results. The release also reported that Sweet analyzed more than one billion runtime events daily, a company figure. Sweet’s July 29, 2026 announcement via GlobeNewswire describes the features.
