You can schedule a future Pix in the Banco do Brasil App BB. The transfer does not happen when you set it up: it is sent on the date you choose, subject to available funds and applicable limits. A scheduled Pix can generally be canceled until 23:59 on the day before settlement.
Before you schedule a Pix
Have an active BB account, the current App BB, and a registered device authorized for transactions. Banco Central says Pix is accessed through a participating institution’s app or internet banking and requires an accepted device; BB advises customers to keep the app updated for Pix transactions. - Have the recipient’s Pix key, QR Code, Pix Copia e Cola code, or saved contact ready.
- Know the amount and the future date you want to use.
- Plan to keep enough available balance for the payment on its execution date; scheduling does not itself mean the funds have already moved.

How to schedule a one-time Pix in the App BB
BB documents the Pix entry point, but its public help pages do not publish a complete, current sequence of screens for every one-time scheduled Pix. Labels and screen order can vary with app version, operating system, transaction type, and account profile. Use the following as a practical guide, and rely on the options shown in your app.
- Open the App BB and sign in.
- Open Pix from the home screen, or go to Menu > Pagamentos > Pix, the route BB lists on its Pix page.
- Choose how to identify the recipient: enter a Pix key, select a contact, scan a QR Code, or use Pix Copia e Cola. For QR payments, BB documents the route Pix > Ler um QR Code; check the details before confirming. BB’s Pix and transfers help
- Enter or confirm the recipient information and the amount.
- Choose the future payment date using the scheduling or date-change option shown in the flow. Depending on the transaction, it may be labeled Agendar Pix or similar.
- Review the recipient’s displayed name and identifying information, amount, execution date, source account, and any description. Correct any detail that is wrong before proceeding.
- Confirm with the password, biometrics, or other authentication requested by BB.
- Save the confirmation and then check the entry in Pix movements to make sure the recipient, amount, and date are correct.
For a QR Code, confirm that the payee and amount displayed by the app match what you expect. A key typed incorrectly or a QR Code for the wrong recipient can still direct money to someone else.

How to check that the Pix is scheduled
- Open the Pix area in the App BB.
- Select Movimentações.
- Choose Detalhar movimentações or Acessar todas, depending on the interface displayed.
- Look for the Agendamentos filter or entry, then open the transaction and check its recipient, amount, and scheduled date.
BB describes Pix > Movimentações and the Agendamentos filter in its Pix Periódico article. A scheduling confirmation is evidence that you requested a future payment, not that the recipient has already received the money.
How to cancel a scheduled Pix
Open the scheduled payment in Pix movements and look for Cancelar agendamento or the equivalent cancellation option. Review the transaction and confirm the cancellation in the app. BB also documents a general scheduled-payment route at Menu > Pagamentos > Cancelar agendamento, but that generic path should not be assumed to be the Pix cancellation screen for every customer. Banco Central’s deadline is 23:59 on the day immediately before settlement. For example, to cancel a Pix scheduled for September 10, submit the cancellation by 23:59 on September 9. After the Pix settles, changing your mind is not a reason the bank can simply reverse the payment. Banco Central’s Pix Agendado guidance and the applicable rule.

What happens on the scheduled date?
The payment is sent for settlement on the date shown in the app, rather than when you create the schedule. Banco Central’s rule describes settlement processing between midnight and 8 a.m. on that date when sufficient funds and the applicable limit are available. This is a processing window, not a promise of an exact credit time; check the date in the app and verify the completed transaction in your account or Pix statement. Banco Central’s settlement rule

Do not treat a scheduled receipt as proof of payment. Banco Central warns that a fraudster can show a scheduled-payment receipt and cancel the transaction before it executes. Recurring payments: Pix Periódico
For a series of payments you initiate, BB offers Pix Periódico in the App BB. BB describes weekly or monthly schedules, for a set number of payments or an indefinite period. During setup, specify the amount, frequency, and number of payments or duration. Its consultation path is Pix > Movimentações > Acessar todas > Pix Periódicos. BB says this menu may take up to 72 hours after the first recurring Pix is created to appear. BB’s Pix Periódico information

Use the latest App BB version available. The version 9.19 minimum mentioned in BB’s June 2024 article is historical and should not be treated as the current requirement.

Limits and changing your Pix limit
There is no single universal BB Pix Agendado limit. Banco Central says each institution defines a daily limit based on the customer’s risk and behavior. A specific rule applies to a Pix scheduled for the following day and initiated between 20:00 and 24:00: a R$1,000 limit applies in that scenario. Other Pix transactions do not consume the Pix Agendado limit, and a future-due-date Pix Cobrança uses that limit. To view or request a change, go to App BB > Menu > Meus Limites > Pix; submenu wording may change. BB says self-service limit increases take at least 24 hours after confirmation to become available. Under Banco Central’s general Pix rules, an increase can take 24 to 48 hours, while a reduction, including to zero, should take effect immediately. An increase is not guaranteed to be approved. Why the scheduling option may be unavailable or the Pix may not complete
- Insufficient balance on the execution date: A schedule is not a guarantee of settlement. Keep funds available and check the transaction status afterward. Banco Central says customers can be notified when an automated scheduled payment lacks funds or exceeds a limit, but do not assume the same retry process applies to every standard scheduled Pix. - Limit too low: Check Menu > Meus Limites; reduce the amount or choose a later date if appropriate, or request a higher limit. Allow for BB’s stated minimum 24-hour wait for self-service increases, and do not assume approval.
- App or device issue: Update the App BB and confirm the phone is registered and authorized. Security restrictions and limits can vary by channel and customer profile.
- Recipient key error: If BB reports that a key was not found, recheck spelling and ask the recipient to confirm the key is registered. BB lists typing errors or an unregistered key as possible causes. BB’s Pix and transfers help
- Wrong payment flow: A boleto, barcode bill, DDA item, or utility bill may need the Payments flow rather than a standard Pix transfer. Use Pix only when the recipient provides a Pix key, QR Code, or Pix Copia e Cola payment route.
- Date or transaction type: The chosen date may not be in the future, or the particular Pix or QR payment flow may expose scheduling at a later confirmation step. Try the standard Pix route and inspect the details carefully.
If scheduling still does not appear, check limits and device authorization, update the app, and contact BB through its official customer-service channels.

- Match the recipient name and identifying information displayed in App BB to the person or business you intend to pay.
- Never share your password, token, or authorization code to prove that you paid.
- Do not release goods or services based only on a screenshot or scheduled-Pix receipt; verify the credit in your own account.
- If you scheduled the payment to the wrong recipient, cancel it before the cancellation deadline. If a Pix has already settled, BB advises trying to contact the recipient; if you do not know them, seek assistance from the recipient’s financial institution. BB’s Pix information
