Can I log in to Cash App from a browser?
Yes. Cash App provides browser access through its official website. The web experience may not show every feature or control available in the mobile app, but you can use it to access the web-based account experience when supported.

Use only the official cash.app domain. Do not enter your information on a page reached through an unfamiliar advertisement, social-media message, or unsolicited link. The safest approach is to type https://cash.app/ directly into your browser or use a bookmark you created yourself.
What you need before logging in
- The phone number or email address connected to your Cash App account.
- Access to the text-message inbox or email account that receives your login code.
- A current browser with JavaScript and cookies enabled.
- A secure internet connection.
- Any additional information Cash App requests for identity or security verification.

How to log in to Cash App on a browser
- Open the official website. Visit https://cash.app/ and confirm that the address bar shows the
cash.appdomain and an HTTPS connection. - Select “Log in.” Use the login option on the Cash App website, not a similarly named third-party page.
- Enter your account contact information. Provide the phone number or email address associated with your existing Cash App account. Your Cashtag alone may not be sufficient for the normal login process unless the current Cash App screen specifically allows it.
- Request the login code. Cash App’s stated consumer login method uses a one-time code rather than a standard password.
- Retrieve and enter the newest code. Check your text messages or email, then enter the current code in the browser. Check spam, junk, promotions, and filtered folders if necessary.
- Complete any additional verification. Cash App may request another security or identity check depending on factors such as your browser, device, network, account status, or suspected fraud risk.
- Confirm access. A successful login should take you to the relevant Cash App account area or web service. If you return to the login page or see an error, stop repeatedly submitting codes and use the troubleshooting steps below.
Cash App says it monitors activity involving new browsers, devices, and IP addresses. A new computer, unusual network, VPN, or different location can therefore produce an additional security prompt.
Cash App login code did not arrive
Work through these checks in order:
- Confirm that you entered the correct phone number or email address.
- Wait briefly before requesting another code. Repeated requests can trigger security restrictions.
- Check text messages and email folders, including spam, junk, promotions, and filtered folders.
- Make sure your phone has service and can receive automated or short-code messages.
- Check whether your email provider blocked or filtered Cash App messages.
- Try the login page in a private or incognito window.
- Temporarily disable extensions that block scripts, cookies, or pop-ups.
- Try a different current browser or device.
Do not rely on a guaranteed delivery time. If codes continue not to arrive, use Cash App’s official support area rather than links or phone numbers supplied by strangers.

The Cash App code is expired or rejected
- Request a new code and use the newest one received.
- Enter the code manually instead of using an old autofill value.
- Check for extra spaces or typing errors.
- Use the code requested for the current browser session, not one generated in another session.
- Stop making repeated attempts if the problem continues, then contact official support.
I lost access to my phone number or email
Normal passwordless login generally depends on access to the phone number or email registered to the account. Do not guess codes, bypass verification, or substitute another person’s phone number.
Use Cash App’s account-recovery guidance and official support. Support may require information to verify your identity or account ownership, and recovery is not guaranteed.

- Use your Visa Gift Card in the U.S. everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted, including online.
Cash App keeps refreshing or will not stay logged in
Browser settings or network conditions can interfere with authentication. Try this sequence:
- Close duplicate Cash App tabs.
- Clear site data for
cash.app. - Close and reopen the browser.
- Retry in a private window.
- Try another current browser or network.
- Temporarily turn off extensions that block cookies, scripts, or pop-ups.
- Review whether strict privacy settings, a VPN, proxy, firewall, or network filter is interfering.
- Check Cash App’s official status page for a wider service problem.
Clearing cookies can remove a damaged session, but it is not a guaranteed fix. It may also sign you out of other websites.

How to stay safe when logging in
- Verify the domain: Type
cash.appyourself and check the address before entering information. - Protect the code: Cash App says it will not ask for your one-time login code. Never disclose it by phone, text, email, chat, or social media.
- Ignore unsolicited links: Open the site manually instead of clicking links in unexpected messages.
- Be cautious on shared computers: Do not save your contact information, and log out when finished. Avoid logging in on a public computer if possible.
- Reject remote-access requests: Someone claiming to be support should not ask you to install remote-control software.
- Investigate unexpected alerts: If you receive a code or notice a new-browser, new-device, or new-IP alert that you did not initiate, do not share the code. Open Cash App manually, review activity if you can access the account, and contact official support if you suspect an attempted takeover.
Cash App describes security controls including encryption and fraud monitoring, but no internet account or storage system is completely risk-free. Keep your email account and phone number secure as well, because they are part of the login and recovery process.

Is this the same login for Cash App Taxes or Afterpay Business Hub?
No. These are separate services:
- Personal Cash App: The consumer money-transfer account accessed through Cash App’s website or mobile app.
- Cash App Taxes: A separate tax-filing service with its own access and authentication requirements. Visit Cash App Taxes.
- Afterpay Business Hub: A merchant portal for business operations, not a personal Cash App wallet. Its separate access and password-reset process is documented in the Business Hub documentation.
When to contact Cash App support
Contact Cash App through cash.app/help when you cannot receive or use a code, no longer control the registered phone number or email, see suspicious account activity, or remain unable to log in after browser troubleshooting.
