Short answer: Adobe’s Black Friday promotion reported on November 28, 2025, should be treated as a historical deal—not a live offer in September 2026. Adobe’s current U.S. promotion offers new individual subscribers Creative Cloud Pro for $34.99 per month for the first three months, then $69.99 per month. The plan uses an annual commitment billed monthly, so it is not a true cancel-anytime subscription.
That distinction matters. The current promotion is advertised as 50% off, but the discount does not necessarily apply to the entire first year.

What Adobe’s current offer really costs
Adobe’s current U.S. offer is for Creative Cloud Pro for individuals. It is marked for new subscribers and is advertised at $34.99 per month for the first three months, compared with a displayed standard price of $69.99 per month.
| Period | Monthly price | Approximate cost |
|---|---|---|
| Months 1–3 | $34.99 | $104.97 |
| Months 4–12 | $69.99 | $629.91 |
| Approximate first year | — | $734.88 |
| Standard 12-month equivalent | $69.99 | $839.88 |
Before tax, that works out to approximately $734.88 for the first 12 months—about $105 less than paying $69.99 for all 12 months, or roughly 12.5% off the first year. The exact price, tax, eligibility and expiration date can vary, so confirm the final order summary at Adobe checkout.

- Enhance your pics with eGects, text, graphics, and animation, and amp up the action in your videos with eGects, transitions, expressive text, motion titles, music, animations, and color grading presets.
Do not interpret the current offer as half-price Creative Cloud for a full year. The 50% rate currently applies to the first three months shown on Adobe’s offer page.
Is this actually Adobe’s Black Friday deal?
Not based on the available dates. Macworld reported Adobe’s Black Friday promotion on November 28, 2025. That report established the 2025 holiday deal, but it does not prove that the same promotion remains available in 2026.
Adobe frequently rotates introductory offers outside the holiday period. The current $34.99 introductory price is a separate promotion observed on Adobe’s U.S. pricing pages in August 2026. A headline referring to “Adobe’s Black Friday deal” should therefore be dated clearly rather than implying that the November 2025 promotion is still active.

What Creative Cloud Pro includes
Creative Cloud Pro includes more than 20 creative applications and services. Adobe highlights major apps such as:
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- Premiere
- After Effects
- InDesign
- Lightroom and Lightroom Classic
- Acrobat Pro
The plan also includes Adobe Fonts, Adobe Express Premium, Frame.io for Creative Cloud, templates, tutorials and 100GB of cloud storage, according to Adobe’s Creative Cloud Pro description.
AI access needs closer attention. Adobe describes unlimited access to certain standard AI features, alongside 4,000 monthly generative credits for premium creative AI features. “Unlimited AI” does not mean that every Adobe AI feature is unlimited. Feature availability, credit usage and allowances can change by plan and over time.

The biggest catch: annual commitment billed monthly
The promotional plan is an annual plan billed monthly. That wording is important: you pay each month, but you are committing to a 12-month term.
It is different from a month-to-month subscription, which generally offers more flexibility, and from an annual prepaid plan, which has different payment and cancellation rules. Do not assume that monthly billing means you can cancel without consequence at any time.
Under Adobe’s U.S. subscription guidance, canceling an annual billed-monthly plan after the applicable refund period may trigger an early termination charge equal to 50% of the remaining contract balance. Adobe gives an example involving three months remaining in the contract. The exact calculation can depend on the applicable terms and account-specific offer, so read the cancellation language displayed during checkout.
In practical terms, canceling shortly after the introductory period could leave you responsible for part of the remaining annual obligation. The possible fee is based on the remaining contract balance—not simply on half of the $34.99 promotional rate.

The current offer is marked new subscribers only. It may not be available to:
- Existing Creative Cloud subscribers changing plans.
- Former subscribers whose accounts are not treated as eligible.
- Business, teams, education or reseller accounts.
- Customers purchasing from a different billing region.
Do not cancel an existing subscription solely on the assumption that the same promotion will appear when you resubscribe. Adobe may show different account-specific offers, or no introductory offer at all.
Students and teachers should check Adobe’s separate education pricing before choosing the general promotion. Adobe currently advertises Creative Cloud Pro for eligible students and teachers at $19.99 per month for the first year, then $39.99 per month, subject to verification and applicable terms.

What happens after three months?
Unless you change or cancel the subscription under Adobe’s applicable terms, the price rises from $34.99 to $69.99 per month after the first three months. The higher price is not a one-time renewal surprise; it is the next stage of the advertised offer.
Before subscribing:
- Record the signup date.
- Write down when the three-month promotional period ends.
- Set a calendar reminder before the price changes.
- Check the renewal price in your Adobe account.
- Decide whether you still need the full suite or should move to a smaller plan.
What happens when you cancel?
Adobe says a canceled paid account converts to a Creative Cloud free membership. Most paid applications and services stop working when the paid subscription ends.
Cloud storage also needs attention. The free membership has a 5GB storage limit. If your account exceeds that limit, Adobe’s terms provide a 30-day window to move files out. Before canceling, download or relocate important files from:
- Creative Cloud Files and cloud documents.
- Libraries and shared assets.
- Lightroom cloud content.
- Frame.io projects and collaboration areas.
Do not assume that installed Adobe applications will continue functioning after the paid plan ends, or that collaborators will retain access to shared projects.
Is Creative Cloud Pro worth it?
It can be good value if you regularly use several Adobe applications and can accept the annual commitment. The strongest cases include:
Free tools Windows power users keep installed
One-click scans. No signup required.
- A designer using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- A video editor working across Premiere and After Effects.
- A photographer who needs Lightroom, Photoshop and Adobe’s cloud workflow.
- A freelancer who also uses Adobe Fonts, Acrobat Pro, Frame.io or Firefly.
- A business or creator who must maintain compatibility with Adobe-centered client workflows.
The deal is harder to justify if you need only one application, expect to use the software for a few weeks, dislike recurring subscriptions or may need to cancel before the year ends.

Single-app Adobe plans
If you need only Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere or another individual application, compare Adobe’s single-app pricing on its plans page. A single-app plan can cost less over 12 months than Creative Cloud Pro, even if the full-suite promotion initially looks attractive.

Photography plan
Photographers who mainly need Photoshop, Lightroom and Lightroom Classic should examine Adobe’s Photography plan rather than paying for design, video and layout applications they will not use.
Student and teacher pricing
Eligible students and teachers may receive a substantially lower first-year price. Verify eligibility, the introductory period and the post-promotion price before checkout.
Lower-cost and non-Adobe tools
Adobe Express is better suited to lightweight social graphics, templates and browser-based content. Affinity may suit users seeking photo editing, vector design and page layout without Adobe’s broad subscription ecosystem. DaVinci Resolve is a strong alternative for video editing, color, audio and effects. Canva is designed for template-driven graphics, presentations and collaborative social content.
These tools are not one-for-one replacements. Adobe-specific plugins, PSD, AI, INDD or Premiere workflows, Adobe Fonts, Firefly and agency compatibility may make Creative Cloud necessary for some users.
How to subscribe without missing the important terms
- Open Adobe’s official plans page rather than relying on an undated deal article.
- Select the individual Creative Cloud Pro offer.
- Confirm that the account qualifies as a new subscriber.
- Check the exact introductory price and its duration.
- Make sure the billing description says “annual, billed monthly.”
- Read the post-promotion price and cancellation terms.
- Review taxes and the total shown at checkout.
- Screenshot the order summary and terms.
- Set a reminder before the third month ends.
- Back up cloud files if you may cancel later.
Bottom line
Adobe’s historical Black Friday promotion was reported on November 28, 2025 and should not be presented as a live 2026 deal. The current U.S. offer is a separate promotion: $34.99 per month for three months, followed by $69.99 per month, on an annual billed-monthly plan for new subscribers.
Creative Cloud Pro is worth considering if you use several Adobe applications and need the integrated professional workflow. For a Photoshop-only user, a photographer, an eligible student or someone seeking short-term access, a smaller or alternative plan may provide better value. Whatever you choose, judge the offer by its full first-year cost and cancellation terms—not by the “50% off” label alone.
