D.A. Davidson raised its price target on Micron Technology (NASDAQ: MU) to $3,000 from $2,100 and kept its Buy rating, according to an October 7, 2026 report. The reported rationale combines a longer-term growth outlook—supported by expected AI-related memory demand—with the possibility that investors will come to value Micron more highly. Those are analyst expectations, not company guidance or guaranteed outcomes.

Why investor perception matters to the target
A stock-price target can reflect both expectations for a company’s future financial performance and the valuation investors may assign to that performance. In Luria’s reported argument, stronger memory demand supports the growth case, while greater investor recognition of Micron’s value could support a higher multiple.
