Important date note: This is a historical U.S. deal snapshot from Dec. 3, 2025—not a live August 2026 buying guide. The deals below were reported or checked between Dec. 1 and Dec. 3, 2025, and prices, inventory, and eligibility changed quickly. As of Aug. 9, 2026, Apple’s U.S. store is promoting newer product generations, including the iPhone 17 family, so do not assume these offers are still available.
The best post-Cyber Monday 2025 Apple savings generally came from Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and wireless carriers rather than Apple itself. The cleanest discounts were immediate retailer price cuts on products such as the Apple Watch SE 3, AirPods, and M4 MacBook Air. iPhone deals advertised as free or dramatically discounted usually required a qualifying service plan, trade-in, new line, or months of bill credits.
Quick picks from the December 2025 deals
These recommendations are ranked by simplicity, total cost, and restrictions—not simply by the largest advertised percentage discount.
| Category | Product and reported price | Savings type | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| Best no-strings deal | Apple Watch SE 3, GPS 40mm: $199, down from $249 | Direct retailer discount | Reported at Amazon and Walmart; verify case size, band, and GPS/cellular configuration. |
| Best basic AirPods deal | AirPods 4 with ANC: as low as $99 in Tom’s Guide’s snapshot | Direct retailer discount | NBC Select reported $113.99 at Amazon and $139.99 at Walmart and Best Buy during the same period. |
| Best premium earbuds deal | AirPods Pro 3: $179–$219, from $249 | Direct retailer discount | Prices varied by retailer and time. NBC Select reported $179–$179.99; Tom’s Guide reported $219. |
| Best premium watch value | Apple Watch Ultra 2: $599, from $799 | Direct retailer discount | Previous-generation model after the Ultra 3 launched. |
| Best current-generation watch | Apple Watch Series 11: $329–$359, from $399 | Direct retailer discount | Exact savings depended on case size, connectivity, material, and band. |
| Best laptop deal | 13-inch MacBook Air with M4: $749–$799 | Direct retailer discount | Tom’s Guide reported $749 at Amazon; NBC Select reported $799 at Best Buy. |
| Best lower-upfront-cost iPhone path | iPhone 16e: reported hardware prices from $99 to $499 | Prepaid plan or activation-linked offer | The lowest prices required service commitments. Compare the phone price and mandatory service cost together. |
| Largest headline iPhone savings | iPhone 17 models advertised as free or heavily discounted by carriers | Bill credits, trade-in, plan, or new-line promotion | Not equivalent to an unlocked phone purchased outright. |
For a reader who wanted a straightforward purchase without changing wireless service, the Apple Watch SE 3 at $199 was the strongest simple deal in the reported coverage. For a laptop, the M4 MacBook Air at $749–$799 offered a more meaningful dollar saving than many smaller accessory discounts.

What “post-Cyber Monday” meant
Cyber Monday 2025 fell on Monday, Dec. 1. In this context, post-Cyber Monday meant the period beginning Dec. 2, when retailers extended, rolled over, or substituted some holiday promotions. An extension did not guarantee the exact Cyber Monday price, the same color or storage configuration, or even continued stock.
Apple’s own holiday shopping event ran from Nov. 28 through Dec. 1, 2025. It primarily offered Apple Gift Cards with eligible purchases rather than reducing the purchase price immediately. By Dec. 3, that promotion had ended. The dates and gift-card structure were reported by 9to5Mac and Macworld.
Best AirPods deals
AirPods 4 with active noise cancellation: reported as low as $99
AirPods 4 with ANC were among the most attractive direct discounts, but the reported prices show why a deal article needs a retailer and timestamp. Tom’s Guide reported $99, while NBC Select reported $113.99 at Amazon and $139.99 at Walmart and Best Buy. The ordinary reference price was approximately $179–$179.99.
Who should buy: Someone who wants the newer AirPods 4 design and ANC without paying Pro-level prices.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsBefore checkout: Confirm that the listing says with ANC. The non-ANC AirPods 4 are a different product and should not be used to substantiate a $99 ANC deal. Check the charging-case type, color, seller, and whether the listing is new rather than renewed or open-box.
AirPods Pro 3: $179 to $219 in reported snapshots
AirPods Pro 3 launched in September 2025 at a $249 U.S. starting price. Apple highlighted improved noise cancellation, workout heart-rate sensing, and compatibility with its then-new software platforms in its launch announcement.
The early discount was notable because this was the new Pro generation, but the price was not consistent across coverage. NBC Select reported $179 at Amazon and Walmart and $179.99 at Best Buy, while Tom’s Guide reported $219 on Dec. 1. The responsible historical description is therefore “$179–$219 in reported retailer snapshots,” not one universal sale price.
Who should buy: A buyer who values the Pro features and finds the exact retailer price near $179.

Other AirPods deals
- AirPods Pro 2: About $197 at Best Buy in Tom’s Guide’s snapshot, compared with a $249 reference price. This was an older generation after AirPods Pro 3 launched.
- AirPods Max: About $150 off, with the exact discount varying by model and color. Stock and color availability mattered.
Do not assume that a lower price on Pro 2 beats a higher price on Pro 3 without comparing features, warranty, battery condition, and whether the item is new or refurbished.
Best Apple Watch deals
Apple Watch SE 3: $199 for the cleanest deal
The Apple Watch SE 3 at $199, down from its $249 U.S. launch price, was reported at Amazon and Walmart. Apple introduced the SE 3 at $249 in September 2025; its launch pricing and specifications are documented in Apple’s announcement.
This was one of the best post-Cyber Monday offers because it was a direct price cut rather than a carrier subsidy. The $199 figure referred to the reported GPS 40mm configuration. A cellular model, larger case, different material, or different band could cost more.
Best for: A first Apple Watch buyer, a child or family member, or anyone who wants a current-generation watch without a cellular-line commitment.
Apple Watch Series 11: $329 to $359
Apple Watch Series 11 models were reported at $329–$359, compared with a $399 U.S. launch price. Apple says the Series 11 launched with up to 24 hours of battery life; see its product announcement.
The range was not one SKU-wide price. Case size, GPS versus cellular connectivity, case material, and band configuration affected the final price. A $329 Series 11 deal might not be directly comparable with a $359 or $399 model.
Best for: A buyer who wants the current standard Series model and finds the price gap over the SE 3 worthwhile for the additional features.

Apple Watch Ultra 2: $599, but clearly previous generation
Best Buy reportedly priced the Apple Watch Ultra 2 at $599, down from $799. That was a substantial direct discount, but Ultra 2 was no longer the newest Ultra model after Apple introduced the Ultra 3 in September 2025.
At $599, Ultra 2 could be the better value for someone who wanted the larger, more rugged model and did not need the newest generation. The deal should not be described as a discount on the latest Ultra. Compare battery age, warranty, health features, display, connectivity, and expected resale value before choosing it over Ultra 3.

Ultra 3 and SE 2 alternatives
- Apple Watch Ultra 3: Reported at $699–$729 from a $799 reference price, depending on the retailer and configuration. This was the newer Ultra generation.
- Apple Watch SE 2: Walmart reportedly offered it for $129, down from $169.99. This was a clearance-style previous-generation deal and should be compared with the $199 SE 3 rather than treated as the same product.
iPhone deals: the headline price was only part of the cost
Unlike AirPods and Apple Watch discounts, the strongest iPhone promotions generally required a carrier plan, trade-in, new line, switch, or prepaid-service commitment. A phone advertised as “free” usually meant that the carrier would reimburse the device installments through monthly bill credits over time.
Reported iPhone 17 carrier offers
| Provider | Reported offer | What the headline did not establish |
|---|---|---|
| Verizon | iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max advertised as free with qualifying unlimited plans | The device cost was generally offset by bill credits over 36 months. A qualifying plan was required, and bundled iPad or Apple Watch lines could have separate service charges. |
| AT&T | Up to $700 off iPhone 17 and up to $1,100 off Pro models | An eligible trade-in and qualifying unlimited plan were required. |
| T-Mobile | Free or heavily discounted iPhone 17 models | Eligibility could involve a qualifying plan, switching, trade-in, or multi-line commitment. |
| Xfinity Mobile | Up to $400 off iPhone 17 Pro | Tom’s Guide reported that the offer required a Premium Unlimited plan. |
| Boost Mobile | iPhone 15 for $199 | A $60-per-month unlimited plan was required. |
The offer details above come from Tom’s Guide’s iPhone deal coverage, with additional carrier comparisons in Macworld’s roundup and Forbes’ coverage.
“Free” did not mean free at checkout. Before accepting a carrier offer, check all of the following:
- Whether a trade-in is required and how the trade-in value is determined.
- Whether the promotion is limited to new customers, switchers, or new lines.
- Whether the phone is paid for immediately or through monthly credits.
- Whether credits continue for 24 or 36 months.
- What happens to unpaid credits if you cancel, switch carriers, upgrade, or fail to meet plan requirements.
- Whether the phone is locked and when it becomes eligible for unlocking.
- Whether taxes, activation charges, upgrade fees, and device-payment taxes are due upfront.
- Whether a more expensive unlimited plan or additional iPad and Apple Watch lines is required.
For someone who already has the qualifying plan and expects to keep it for the entire credit period, a carrier deal can be valuable. For someone who wants an unlocked phone or may change providers, a smaller direct or prepaid discount can have a lower financial risk.
iPhone 16e prepaid and activation-linked offers
The iPhone 16e offered a more understandable alternative to the flagship carrier promotions, but the lowest hardware prices still came with service requirements. Tom’s Guide reported these Dec. 1, 2025 examples:
| Reported phone price | Provider or purchase route | Required service or activation | Known cost context |
|---|---|---|---|
| $99 | Boost Mobile | $60-per-month Unlimited Premium plan | The hardware price alone is not the total cost. |
| $299 | Total 5G+ offer | Three months of service | The cited coverage also contained a conflicting $399/$195 Total Wireless calculation; verify the live checkout terms for the exact plan and SKU. |
| $199 | Cricket Wireless | Three months of Supreme plan | $199 phone plus $180 service, or about $379 before tax. |
| $399 | Walmart/Straight Talk-related offer | Three months of service | Confirm the precise plan, activation terms, and lock status. |
| $399 | Mint Mobile | One year of unlimited service | The one-year service cost is part of the economic comparison. |
| $499 | Best Buy activation offer | Activation on AT&T or Verizon | Confirm line eligibility and whether the phone is locked or subject to carrier terms. |
Tom’s Guide’s detailed comparison illustrates the correct way to evaluate these offers: the Cricket example was approximately $199 + $180 = $379 before tax, while one Total Wireless example was calculated at $399 + $195 = $594 before tax. Because the same coverage also listed a $299 Total 5G+ version, the discrepancy should be treated as a warning to verify the exact offer rather than as a typo to ignore. See the full iPhone 16e comparison.

Use this calculation for any plan-bundled phone:
hardware price + required plan cost + activation fees + taxes + add-on lines − guaranteed trade-in credit = estimated total cost
Also verify whether the prepaid phone is unlocked immediately, unlockable after a stated period, or restricted to the provider. A low upfront price is not the same as an unlocked-device discount.
MacBook, Mac mini, iPad, AirTag, and accessory deals
The strongest dollar savings in the historical coverage were often on Macs:
Rank #4
- Automatically on, automatically connected
- Easy setup for all your Apple devices
- Quick access to Siri by saying “Hey Siri”
- Double-tap to play or skip forward
- New Apple H1 headphone chip delivers faster wireless connection to your devices
| Product | Reported price | Reference price | Qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| 13-inch MacBook Air with M4 | $749 at Amazon; $799 at Best Buy | Varied by retailer and configuration | Confirm memory, storage, seller, fulfillment, and warranty. |
| 15-inch MacBook Air with M4 | $949 | $1,199 | Confirm the exact memory and storage configuration. |
| 14-inch MacBook Pro with M5 | $1,349 | $1,599 | Compare chip, memory, storage, and ports before comparing prices. |
| Mac mini with M4 | $479 | $599 | Remember that a monitor, keyboard, and mouse may be additional costs. |
| M1 MacBook Air | $499 | Not directly comparable with current models | Older-generation inventory; confirm condition, RAM, storage, warranty, and software-support expectations. |
The M1 MacBook Air at $499 looked compelling numerically, but it belonged in a separate older-generation category. TechRadar’s coverage reported the price, but a buyer should not compare it with an M4 MacBook Air without checking processor generation, memory, storage, battery condition, warranty, and whether the unit was new, refurbished, or retailer clearance.

Apple’s promotion versus a retailer markdown
Apple’s 2025 holiday event was primarily an Apple Gift Card promotion. A Gift Card can be useful for a buyer who already expects to purchase another Apple product, app, service, or subscription. Apple explains its Gift Card use and limitations on its Gift Card page.
But a future-use card is not identical to an immediate discount:
- It does not reduce the current checkout total in the same way as a retailer markdown.
- It requires a future Apple purchase to realize its value.
- It may encourage additional spending that would not otherwise occur.
- It generally cannot simply be applied to the original promotional transaction as a cash-equivalent discount.
- Carrier-financed purchases were excluded from Apple’s reported 2025 promotion.
For a reader who planned another Apple purchase, the card could be worthwhile. For someone who wanted the lowest price today, a retailer’s direct markdown was usually easier to value.

Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →How to tell whether an Apple deal is actually good
1. Separate the type of savings
Use these labels when comparing offers:
- DIRECT PRICE CUT: The checkout price is lower immediately.
- APPLE GIFT CARD: Part of the value arrives as credit for a later Apple purchase.
- TRADE-IN REQUIRED: The advertised saving depends on the value and eligibility of an old device.
- NEW LINE REQUIRED: The deal may not apply to an existing line.
- SERVICE PLAN REQUIRED: The device price is tied to prepaid or monthly service.
- BILL CREDITS: The carrier offsets installments over time; leaving early can forfeit remaining credits.
- PREVIOUS GENERATION: The product is older than the newest equivalent model.
- REFURBISHED/OPEN-BOX: Condition, warranty, battery guarantee, accessories, and return rights differ from a new product.
2. Compare with the real street price
A retailer’s “was” price may be an MSRP, launch price, or price for a different configuration. A 20% discount from MSRP can be worse than a smaller discount from the product’s normal street price. Compare the current price with:
- Apple’s official price for the same configuration;
- the product’s recent ordinary retailer price;
- a documented low price, if one is available;
- the price of the next-newer generation;
- the total cost of any required service.
Claims such as “lowest price ever” should be attributed to the retailer or publication unless supported by a documented price history. In the historical coverage, the safest wording for AirPods Pro 3 was “lowest price reported by the cited publication at the time checked,” because other coverage showed a different price.
3. Confirm the exact configuration
Before purchasing, match the deal to the product you actually want:
- AirPods generation, ANC versus non-ANC, and charging-case type;
- Apple Watch case size, GPS versus cellular, material, and band;
- iPhone model, storage, carrier, lock status, and activation requirement;
- Mac screen size, chip, memory, storage, ports, and seller;
- color when a discount or remaining stock is color-specific.
Previous-generation Apple products: when the lower price makes sense
Apple introduced the iPhone 17 family, Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, Apple Watch SE 3, and AirPods Pro 3 in September 2025, as summarized in Apple’s product announcement. That made several holiday discounts on older products more attractive—but also made generation labels essential.
Best Value
- Active Noise Cancellation blocks outside noise, so you can immerse yourself in music
- Transparency mode for hearing and interacting with the world around you
- Spatial audio with dynamic head tracking places sound all around you
- Adaptive EQ automatically tunes music to your ears
- Three sizes of soft, tapered silicone tips for a customizable fit
| Older product | Newer comparison | Why the older one could still make sense | What to check |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apple Watch Ultra 2 | Ultra 3 | $599 was substantially below the $799 reference price. | Feature gap, battery age, warranty, cellular configuration, and resale value. |
| Apple Watch SE 2 | SE 3 | $129 clearance pricing was much lower than $199 for SE 3. | Health and safety features, software support, condition, and battery. |
| M1 MacBook Air | M4 MacBook Air | $499 was unusually inexpensive. | Processor age, memory, storage, battery, ports, warranty, and seller. |
| AirPods Pro 2 | AirPods Pro 3 | About $197 could suit a budget buyer. | Feature differences, battery condition, warranty, and whether the price is for new stock. |
| iPhone 15 or 16e | iPhone 17 family | Prepaid or outright-style offers could avoid a long flagship-carrier commitment. | Camera and display differences, software support, lock status, service cost, and resale value. |
A previous-generation product is most defensible when the savings are substantial, the feature gap does not matter to you, and the warranty and battery condition are clear. If the price difference is modest, buying the newer generation can provide a longer useful life and better resale prospects.
Checkout checklist for any Apple deal
- Match the generation and SKU. Make sure the product name, chip, storage, case size, and connectivity match the advertised offer.
- Identify the seller. Confirm whether the product is sold and fulfilled by Apple, a major retailer, or a clearly identified marketplace seller.
- Check condition. Look for new, refurbished, renewed, used, or open-box language.
- Read the warranty and return policy. A low price is less attractive if support is limited or returns carry a restocking fee.
- Check delivery timing. Post-Cyber Monday inventory may change, and a holiday gift may arrive later than expected.
- Confirm compatibility. Check iPhone requirements for AirPods and Apple Watch, carrier compatibility for iPhones, and accessories or ports for Macs.
- Calculate service costs. Include required plans, activation fees, taxes, watch lines, tablet lines, and prepaid commitments.
- Understand bill credits. Confirm the credit period and what happens if you cancel service, switch plans, upgrade, or leave the carrier.
- Check lock status. A carrier or prepaid phone may not be unlocked at purchase.
- Compare the complete price. Do not rely only on the stated MSRP or the largest percentage-saving claim.
Why prices conflicted during the sale
The AirPods Pro 3 and AirPods 4 ANC examples show that post-Cyber Monday prices could move materially even within the same shopping period. Retailers changed promotions, sold through the cheapest configuration, and shifted inventory by color and fulfillment method. The differences reported by Tom’s Guide and NBC Select should not be silently combined into a single price.
The lowest-priced stock often disappeared first, followed by popular colors, cellular or larger-capacity models, retailer bundles, and marketplace inventory. A sound deal report therefore says where and when a price was checked and notes that the offer may end or sell out without notice.
Bottom-line buying guide
- Buy a direct discount confidently when the exact new product is near a documented low and there are no service requirements. The historical Apple Watch SE 3 at $199 and M4 MacBook Air at $749–$799 fit this category.
- Choose AirPods by the exact model. AirPods 4 with ANC were the value pick at the lowest verified retailer price, while AirPods Pro 3 was the premium pick only when the retailer’s actual price was confirmed.
- Consider Ultra 2 at $599 only if you are comfortable buying the previous generation. Otherwise, compare the price gap with Ultra 3.
- Use a carrier iPhone promotion if you already want the required plan, can keep it for the full credit period, and have calculated the total service cost. Do not treat “free after 36 months of bill credits” as an unlocked $0 phone.
- Prefer prepaid or retailer iPhone offers when avoiding a long carrier commitment matters more than the largest headline discount. Add the mandatory service cost before comparing prices.
- Treat Apple Gift Cards as future-use value, not as an immediate price cut. They are most useful when you already plan another Apple purchase.
- Buy an older generation only when the savings are large enough to justify the feature, support, battery, and resale trade-offs.
The original Dec. 3, 2025 article was a useful post-Cyber Monday snapshot, but those offers should now be treated as historical. For a purchase in August 2026, check the current retailer listing and Apple’s current U.S. store rather than relying on any expired deal card.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these post-Cyber Monday Apple deals still available?
No availability is implied. The prices in this article were reported or checked during Dec. 1–3, 2025. Retailer prices, stock, and carrier promotions can change or expire, and Apple’s U.S. store now features newer product generations.
Was the iPhone really free in the 2025 carrier deals?
Usually not in the ordinary sense of free. The reported offers generally used monthly bill credits, often over 36 months, and could require a qualifying unlimited plan, trade-in, new line, switch, or additional device lines. Canceling or changing service could mean losing remaining credits.
Which December 2025 Apple deal had the fewest strings attached?
The Apple Watch SE 3 at $199 was one of the cleanest reported offers because it was an immediate retailer markdown and did not require a carrier plan or trade-in. The exact configuration still mattered.
Was Apple’s own Cyber Monday promotion an immediate discount?
Primarily no. Apple’s Nov. 28–Dec. 1, 2025 promotion mainly provided Apple Gift Cards with eligible purchases. That can be valuable if you plan another Apple purchase, but it is not equivalent to lowering the current checkout price.

The best historical post-Cyber Monday Apple deals were the simple ones: direct retailer discounts on AirPods, Apple Watch, and Macs. The reported $199 Apple Watch SE 3 and $749–$799 M4 MacBook Air were easier to value than an iPhone advertised as free after years of bill credits.
For any iPhone promotion, calculate the phone, required service, trade-in, fees, taxes, lock status, and credit period together. For older Apple products, accept the previous-generation trade-off only when the savings are substantial. And because this is a Dec. 3, 2025 snapshot, verify every price and availability detail before purchasing in 2026.
