Short answer: NVIDIA recognized 11 parent companies in its 2023 Americas Partner Network awards, announced on April 4, 2023. The companies won category-specific awards spanning distribution, software, consulting, cloud and systems integration, healthcare, retail, higher education, public sector, service delivery and networking.
The number needs explaining. NVIDIA called the winners a dozen partners because it listed CDW Canada separately from CDW, while CRN counted them under the same parent company. World Wide Technology also won two categories, creating 13 award entries. This was not a ranked list from No. 1 through No. 11, and it is not NVIDIA’s current partner roster as of August 10, 2026.

What NVIDIA’s 2023 awards actually recognized
NVIDIA’s 2023 Americas Partner Network awards recognized companies that helped customers adopt artificial intelligence, accelerated computing and related technologies across the Americas. The official announcement covered 13 categories:
- Distribution
- Higher education
- Software
- Canadian partner
- Consulting
- Rising star
- Retail
- Solution integration
- Healthcare
- Public sector
- Service delivery
- AI solution provider
- Networking
The awards were therefore a collection of specialist recognitions, not a league table. A distributor, a healthcare systems integrator, a consulting firm and a public-sector HPC specialist solve different customer problems and cannot be compared meaningfully as first place, second place and third place.
#1 Best Overall
- AI Performance: 767 AI TOPS
- OC mode: 2632 MHz (OC mode)/ 2602 MHz (Default mode)
- Powered by the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture and DLSS 4
- Axial-tech fan design features a smaller fan hub that facilitates longer blades and a barrier ring that increases downward air pressure
- A 2.5-slot design maximizes compatibility and cooling efficiency for superior performance in small chassis
NVIDIA’s official 2023 announcement described the winners as a dozen partners. CRN’s coverage framed them as 11 partners. Both descriptions can be reconciled once CDW Canada’s corporate relationship with CDW is taken into account.
Why NVIDIA emphasized a full-stack platform
The strategic message behind the awards was broader than selling graphics processors. In 2023, NVIDIA was presenting an enterprise AI platform that extended from silicon and systems to software, networking, cloud deployment and professional services.
That platform included:
- GPUs and accelerated computing infrastructure
- Purpose-built systems such as NVIDIA DGX
- High-performance networking, including InfiniBand
- CUDA and related software libraries
- Software development kits for applications such as speech AI and computer vision
- NVIDIA AI Enterprise
- NVIDIA Omniverse and Omniverse Enterprise
- Cloud and hybrid-cloud deployment models
- Consulting, architecture, implementation and managed services
The channel is what turns those individual layers into a working customer deployment. A partner may design a GPU cluster, connect storage and networking, integrate an independent software vendor’s application, train a customer’s team, operate the environment and adapt the solution to a regulated industry.

The current program references competencies spanning compute, networking, AI, high-performance computing, Omniverse, DGX and visualization, although product names and program details can change over time.
This is also a multivendor ecosystem. The award winners generally combine NVIDIA technology with servers, storage, cloud platforms, software, consulting and other networking products. An award does not mean that a company sells only NVIDIA products or that NVIDIA hardware is the best fit for every workload.
Why the list says 11, 12 and 13
| Counting method | Total | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Parent companies | 11 | CDW and CDW Canada are counted as one corporate parent. |
| Named award entities | 12 | NVIDIA listed CDW Canada separately from CDW. |
| Award-category entries | 13 | World Wide Technology won both AI Solution Provider and Networking Partner of the Year. |
The cleanest description is: NVIDIA recognized 11 parent companies across 13 award entries, with CDW Canada shown as a separate Canadian operating entity and World Wide Technology receiving two awards.
CDW Canada describes its relationship with CDW, which is why treating it as a separate parent company would overstate the number of distinct corporate groups.

Grouping the winners by function provides more useful context than presenting them as an alphabetical list. The categories reveal the different jobs required to move an AI project from procurement to production.
Infrastructure, distribution and integration
Arrow Electronics — Distribution Partner of the Year
Arrow Electronics represented the distribution and channel-enablement layer. NVIDIA cited Arrow’s ability to deliver end-to-end AI technologies for manufacturing, retail, healthcare and robotics through on-premises, hybrid-cloud and intelligent-edge solutions.
The company’s Autonomous Machines Center of Excellence was part of the rationale. That points to a distributor doing more than moving boxes: it was helping partners and customers evaluate edge systems, robotics and other specialized infrastructure.
For solution providers, Arrow’s relevance is ecosystem reach and enablement. For an end customer, the award does not by itself establish that Arrow is the lowest-cost source or the right implementation partner. Distribution, system design and ongoing operations should be evaluated separately.
Lambda — Solution Integration Partner of the Year
Lambda won Solution Integration Partner of the Year for the third consecutive year. NVIDIA said Lambda delivered end-to-end solutions both on premises and in the cloud for higher education, research, federal and public-sector organizations, healthcare and life-sciences customers.
Its offering covered GPU cloud instances, server clusters, workstations and laptops. That combination made Lambda one of the clearest examples of a partner spanning infrastructure procurement, system configuration and cloud access rather than focusing on only one hardware product.
The practical distinction for buyers is whether they need a configured research cluster, a cloud-based GPU environment, an individual workstation or help connecting those resources to an existing enterprise architecture.
Microway — Public Sector Partner of the Year
Microway was recognized for technical depth and engineering work in public-sector high-performance computing and AI. CRN reported that the company had delivered multi-hundred-GPU clusters using NVIDIA A100 GPUs, NVIDIA DGX systems and NVIDIA AI Enterprise.
That profile is different from a general-purpose reseller. Government agencies, laboratories and research organizations often need custom cluster design, procurement expertise, installation and support for specialized workloads. Microway’s award highlighted that engineering and deployment role.
The cluster and product references are historical 2023 examples. They should not be read as a statement about Microway’s current capacity, product availability or the current generation of NVIDIA hardware.

World Wide Technology — AI Solution Provider of the Year and Networking Partner of the Year
World Wide Technology, or WWT, was the only 2023 winner to receive two awards. NVIDIA recognized it as both AI Solution Provider of the Year and Networking Partner of the Year.
For the AI award, NVIDIA cited WWT’s work with AI infrastructure, large language models, computer vision and Omniverse-based digital twins. WWT’s Advanced Technology Center provided labs and testing environments where customers could evaluate technologies before committing to production deployments.

The networking award reflected WWT’s work with NVIDIA high-performance networking and InfiniBand. That matters because large AI systems depend on more than GPU count. Network design, data movement, cluster management and testing can determine whether the available accelerators are used efficiently.
WWT’s two awards made it the broadest full-stack example in the group: infrastructure, networking, labs, ecosystem integration and customer validation. That still does not make it an objectively superior provider for every buyer; the appropriate comparison depends on workload, geography, cloud strategy and required services.
Industry and regional specialists
Cambridge Computer — Higher Education Partner of the Year
Cambridge Computer won Higher Education Partner of the Year for the third consecutive year. Its focus was education, life sciences and research computing, including parallel and high-throughput file systems, high-speed interconnects and HPC and AI infrastructure.
Universities and research institutions often have requirements that differ from ordinary enterprise deployments. A solution may need to serve multiple departments, manage large research datasets, support high-throughput workloads and connect to existing scientific computing environments. Cambridge Computer’s specialization was the reason NVIDIA highlighted it in this category.

FedData Technology Solutions — Rising Star Partner of the Year
FedData Technology Solutions was the Rising Star Partner of the Year. NVIDIA cited DGX design wins with federal customers and emerging work involving NVIDIA Omniverse.
FedData emphasized its data scientists, integration engineers and installation specialists. Its award illustrated how a smaller, public-sector-focused company can expand from established federal relationships into newer AI and visualization projects.
Federal procurement, security requirements and agency-specific technical standards can make public-sector work materially different from commercial deployments. FedData’s recognition should therefore be understood as a public-sector growth and delivery story, not a universal enterprise ranking.
Insight Enterprises — Retail Partner of the Year
Insight was the inaugural winner of the Retail Partner of the Year category. NVIDIA cited work involving intelligent stores, intelligent quick-service restaurants, intelligent supply chains and omnichannel management.
Quick wins for a faster PC:

The examples show why retail AI is not simply a matter of purchasing GPUs. It can involve computer vision, store operations, supply-chain analytics, customer experience systems and integration with existing retail software.
The public accounts referred to deals with very large retailers without identifying those customers. That claim should not be expanded into a specific customer count, revenue figure or deployment scale.

Mark III Systems — Healthcare Partner of the Year
Mark III Systems was recognized for AI, HPC and simulation Centers of Excellence serving academic medical centers, research institutions, healthcare systems, life-sciences organizations and biopharmaceutical companies.
Its programs included MLOps, HPC and AI project management, AI and machine-learning appliances, Omniverse and remote proof-of-concept labs. The company’s stated delivery model brought together data scientists, developers, 3D artists, DevOps and MLOps engineers and systems architects.

CDW Canada — Canadian Partner of the Year
CDW Canada won the Canadian Partner of the Year category. NVIDIA recognized the division for providing customized NVIDIA technology solutions to Canadian customers and vendors. CRN reported that it was the category winner for the third consecutive year.
CDW Canada is the reason the official announcement and CRN headline use different counts. NVIDIA listed the Canadian business separately because the award category was geographic and Canada-specific, while CDW Canada is part of the broader CDW corporate group.
For a Canadian buyer, the relevant questions would include local procurement, support coverage, data residency, available implementation resources and the partner’s ability to work with the customer’s preferred OEMs and cloud providers.

Software, consulting and service delivery
CDW — Software Partner of the Year
CDW won Software Partner of the Year. NVIDIA cited CDW’s deployment of AI and visualization solutions across industries and its end-to-end support.
CRN highlighted examples including retail virtual assistants using NVIDIA Riva and manufacturing analytics using NVIDIA Metropolis. Those examples show the software layer of the platform: a solution provider helping customers turn NVIDIA development tools and application frameworks into business workflows.
CDW’s role was not limited to software licensing. The award rationale also involved deployment and support, which can include infrastructure, integration and ongoing assistance. Buyers should confirm exactly which services are included in a proposal rather than assuming that a software award covers full operational responsibility.
Deloitte — Consulting Partner of the Year
Deloitte won Consulting Partner of the Year for the third consecutive year. NVIDIA cited enterprise AI, generative AI and NVIDIA DGX Cloud. CRN also described Deloitte’s work involving hybrid cloud, NVIDIA AI and Omniverse Enterprise across edge AI, speech AI, recommender systems, chatbots, cybersecurity and digital twins.
Deloitte represented the strategy and transformation layer of the ecosystem. Consulting partners help organizations define use cases, estimate business value, design operating models, integrate AI into existing processes and manage large transformation programs.
Deloitte is globally headquartered in London, but this was an Americas regional award. That distinction matters when evaluating local delivery teams, contracting entities, data handling and support coverage.

Quantiphi described expertise in NVIDIA AI Enterprise, DGX, large language models, genomics, physics-informed machine learning and hybrid computing. CRN also attributed a figure of more than 400 NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute-certified professionals to Craig Weinstein. Because that figure was a historical, attributed statement and partner certification totals can change, it should not be treated as a current headcount.
Quantiphi’s award illustrates the application-delivery layer: building and deploying AI systems for customers rather than simply supplying the infrastructure on which those systems run.

The award categories map an AI delivery chain
Viewed together, the 2023 awards outline the delivery chain an enterprise customer may need:
- Distribution: Arrow helped extend NVIDIA technology through the channel and into edge and industry solutions.
- System integration: Lambda, Microway and WWT connected compute, networking, storage, software and deployment expertise.
- Networking: WWT addressed the high-speed interconnects required by large AI and HPC environments.
- Software: CDW helped turn AI and visualization technologies into business applications.
- Cloud and hybrid deployment: Lambda, Deloitte, Quantiphi and others worked across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Consulting: Deloitte addressed strategy, transformation and enterprise adoption.
- Industry implementation: Insight, Mark III and Cambridge Computer brought retail, healthcare and research specialization.
- Public-sector expertise: FedData and Microway focused on federal and government requirements.
- Service delivery: Quantiphi and other integrators helped customers build, deploy and operate AI workloads.
The common pattern was specialization plus integration. NVIDIA supplied the underlying platform, while partners supplied the customer relationships, domain knowledge, implementation labor, procurement expertise and operational support that a semiconductor vendor typically does not provide directly.

What the awards do not prove
These were vendor-selected partner awards. They are useful signals about NVIDIA’s priorities and the kinds of work it valued, but they are not independent performance rankings.
An award does not establish:
- That the company has the lowest total cost of ownership
- That it delivers the highest technical performance
- That its customers report the best satisfaction
- That it offers the best procurement terms
- That it holds a security or regulatory certification
- That it is an NVIDIA-exclusive provider
- That NVIDIA hardware will be available on the buyer’s preferred schedule
- That it is suitable for every model, dataset, industry or deployment pattern
Public announcements also do not provide a uniform dataset comparing revenue, customer ROI, deployment speed, GPU utilization, power efficiency, support metrics, retention or total cost. Descriptions such as world-class, best-in-class and deep expertise should be treated as promotional language unless supported by independent evidence.
How a buyer should use the list
The award category can help identify a starting point, but the right partner depends on the work that needs to be done. A buyer should distinguish between procurement, design, implementation, application development and ongoing operations.
- Need sourcing and channel access? Start with a distributor or broad solution provider such as Arrow or CDW, then confirm whether it also supplies implementation services.
- Need a GPU cluster or AI infrastructure? Examine integration specialists such as Lambda, Microway or WWT, including their networking, storage, cooling and cluster-management experience.
- Need an enterprise AI strategy? A consulting firm such as Deloitte may be relevant, but the buyer should request named delivery personnel, implementation partners and measurable milestones.
- Need an industry-specific deployment? Consider whether Insight’s retail experience, Mark III’s healthcare focus, Cambridge Computer’s research specialization or FedData’s federal background matches the project.
- Need an AI application or managed service? Evaluate service-delivery capabilities such as Quantiphi’s, including model development, data engineering, MLOps, monitoring and support.
Before selecting any provider, ask:
- Does the partner support on-premises, cloud, hybrid or colocation deployment?
- Can it provide architecture, implementation and operations, or only resale?
- Does it support NVIDIA software as well as hardware?
- What experience does it have with networking, storage, cooling and cluster management?
- Can it handle regulated data, healthcare requirements or federal procurement?
- Does it offer proof-of-concept infrastructure, labs or test environments?
- Which OEMs, cloud providers and independent software vendors does it support?
- What current NVIDIA competencies, certifications or specializations does it hold?
- Can it provide references for deployments of comparable size and workload?
- Who will provide support after the system or application goes into production?
NVIDIA’s current partner program can help confirm partner types and competencies, but buyers should still conduct independent technical, commercial, security and reference checks.
Historical product names require a date check
The 2023 coverage referenced products and technologies including NVIDIA A100 GPUs, DGX, NVIDIA AI Enterprise, Omniverse Enterprise, NVIDIA Riva, NVIDIA Metropolis, NVIDIA Base Command, Run:ai and InfiniBand.
Those names should be preserved when explaining the historical awards, but they should not be treated as a current product configuration. Product generations, branding, ownership arrangements, licensing and strategic priorities may have changed since 2023. Anyone using this article to plan a current deployment should verify product availability, support status and licensing in current NVIDIA documentation and with the prospective partner.
Why this is a historical snapshot, not NVIDIA’s current top-partner list
NVIDIA has published later Americas Partner Network award lists. Its 2024 awards and 2025 awards show that winners and categories changed over time. The 2025 program also reflected newer priorities around agentic AI, physical AI and AI factories.
The Tool Desk
Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEFix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFind Drivers →As of August 10, 2026, CRN’s 2026 Americas awards coverage identified a newer group that included SHI, LTI Mindtree, TD Synnex, Deloitte US, EY, EXL Service, Accenture, SoftServe, Computacenter, WWT, Mark III and Cambridge Computer.
That later list reinforces two points. First, the 2023 winners were not a permanent preferred-supplier roster. Second, the presence of WWT, Mark III and Cambridge Computer in later coverage does not turn their 2023 awards into a current performance ranking. Partner status, competencies and capabilities should be checked at the time of purchase.
The strategic takeaway
NVIDIA’s 2023 Americas awards showed how the company was building a channel around a complete accelerated-computing platform. The ecosystem needed distributors to extend reach, integrators to assemble systems, networking specialists to connect clusters, consultants to shape transformation programs, software providers to build applications and industry specialists to adapt AI to research, retail, healthcare and government.
The important question was not which company was number one. It was which type of partner a customer needed for its workload, industry, geography, deployment model and operating requirements. That is the useful way to read CRN’s 11-company framing: as a map of NVIDIA’s partner ecosystem in 2023, not as an objective ranking of the best companies in AI.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why did NVIDIA say it recognized a dozen partners while CRN listed 11?
NVIDIA listed CDW Canada separately from CDW, although CDW Canada is part of the CDW corporate group. Counting parent companies produces 11; counting named award entities produces 12. World Wide Technology won two categories, so there were 13 award entries.
Were NVIDIA’s 11 Americas partners ranked from first to eleventh?
No. The companies won different category awards, including distribution, consulting, healthcare, public sector and networking. NVIDIA did not publish an ordinal ranking, and the awards do not independently prove that one winner is better than another.
Are these NVIDIA’s current Americas partners?
No. The list was announced on April 4, 2023. NVIDIA published later award lists for 2024 and 2025, and CRN reported a newer 2026 group. Current partner status, certifications, products and service capabilities should be verified before making a purchasing decision.
Does winning a NVIDIA partner award guarantee better pricing or performance?
No. The awards are vendor-selected recognitions. They do not guarantee lower cost, better technical performance, stronger security, hardware availability, customer satisfaction or suitability for a particular workload.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: NVIDIA’s 2023 Americas Partner Network awards recognized 11 parent companies across 13 category entries, not 11 ranked resellers. The list is best understood as a historical map of the channel capabilities NVIDIA needed to deliver full-stack AI: distribution, infrastructure, networking, software, consulting, industry expertise and ongoing services.
