To track a Shadowfax shipment, find the order’s AWB number (air waybill) or the SMS tracking link, then enter the AWB on Shadowfax’s Track Your Order page. If the order was created through Shadowfax Courier, open the app’s Order history and select the order card. For a late, stuck, or incorrectly delivered shipment, report the problem to the seller or marketplace and use the support route shown for that specific order.
A tracking status is the latest recorded logistics event, not a guaranteed delivery appointment. The precise labels and available support differ between a marketplace shipment and a Shadowfax Courier order, so use the channel attached to your shipment rather than assuming every Shadowfax contact option is interchangeable.

- Order number: the seller or marketplace reference, which support may use to match the shipment to your purchase.
- Delivery postcode: useful when a seller or carrier team checks the destination.
- Latest event and timestamp: copy the exact status and the time shown on the tracking page.
- A short description: for example, “out for delivery yesterday, but no attempt was made,” or “tracking says delivered and nothing was received.”
Do not post your full address, phone number, payment details, or other personal information in a public social-media post. Give those details only through the seller’s authenticated help channel or the support route associated with the shipment.

Track a Shadowfax order on the website
Shadowfax provides a public AWB tracking form at shadowfax.in/track. This is the simplest route when you have the carrier reference but do not use the Shadowfax Courier app.
- Open Track Your Order.
- Enter the shipment’s AWB number exactly as shown in the seller’s message or order page. Remove accidental spaces if the form rejects the reference, but do not change letters or numbers.
- Select Track Shipment.
- Record the newest status, its timestamp, and any event history displayed.
If the page says that the AWB cannot be found, first compare it with the seller’s dispatch message. A marketplace order number and a carrier AWB are different identifiers. If the seller has not supplied an AWB, ask the seller or marketplace for the Shadowfax tracking reference rather than guessing from the order number.
Other official ways to check the shipment
Shadowfax Courier app
The Shadowfax Courier service describes tracking through the app’s Order history. That section covers ongoing and completed orders. Open the relevant order card to view its current information; the same card is the starting point for raising a support ticket when something is wrong.

- Open the Shadowfax Courier app and go to Order history.
- Select the order that is still moving, delayed, completed, or showing a problem.
- Read the latest event and its time, then use the order card’s support option to create a ticket if the status is stale or incorrect.
The app’s history is tied to Courier-service orders. A purchase made on a separate marketplace may instead require the marketplace’s order page and help system, even when Shadowfax is the carrier.
SMS tracking link
Shadowfax says it sends an SMS tracking link to the point of contact at the drop location. Open the link from the shipment message and verify that the order details match your purchase. If the message went to another household member or workplace contact, ask that person to forward the link rather than publishing it. A link can be useful when you do not know the AWB, but the seller remains the right source if the message is missing or the details do not match.

How to interpret Shadowfax tracking statuses
Shadowfax’s forward-logistics documentation describes an AWB response as a latest order status plus a chronological list of tracking events. The names below come from operational documentation; the wording shown to a consumer can be shorter or different. Use the exact label on your shipment’s own tracking view when contacting support.

A status is a record of what the system last received. It is not, by itself, a promised new delivery date, refund, replacement, or compensation. If the latest event has not changed, preserve the timestamp and use it in your support request.

What to do when a Shadowfax delivery is delayed or stuck
1. Check whether the event is actually stale
Refresh the website or reopen the app order card, then compare the newest event time with the current time. A parcel can remain at a hub while the next scan is pending; the absence of a new scan does not establish that it is lost. At the same time, a long period without movement is a reason to contact the seller rather than waiting indefinitely.
2. Check the seller or marketplace first
Open the purchase’s order-help page and report the delay. Include the AWB, seller order number, latest status and timestamp, postcode, and the practical impact (for example, a missed promised window or an urgent delivery need). The seller or marketplace can see the commercial order record and can request carrier action under its own service arrangement.
3. Use the shipment-specific Shadowfax route
If the order appears in Shadowfax Courier, open its order card and raise a support ticket. The Courier service lists [email protected] for support and states that it has no customer-care number live for that Courier service. Use the email or in-app ticket as described on the order page, and include the same identifiers so the team can locate the shipment.

4. Keep a record of the request
Save the ticket number, email, screenshots, and the time you reported the issue. If the status changes later, add the new event to the same case instead of opening multiple duplicate requests. Do not claim that a carrier escalation has occurred unless the seller or support team confirms it.
5. Decide when to follow up
No universal investigation time, redelivery promise, refund rule, or compensation amount is stated in the reviewed customer guidance. Follow up through the seller’s stated process if its response window passes, and quote the original case reference. The seller’s terms, payment method, and marketplace policy may determine the remedy, not the tracking page alone.
When tracking says “delivered” but you have no parcel
A delivered scan with no parcel is a delivery discrepancy. Act promptly because the seller may need to check the delivery record, address details, or recipient information.
- Check the obvious delivery points: ask household members, reception, security, neighbors, or a workplace mailroom whether someone accepted it. Check any safe-place instruction you gave the seller.
- Confirm the order details: compare the destination and recipient name in the seller’s order page with the address where you looked.
- Capture the evidence: save the delivered status, timestamp, AWB, and any proof-of-delivery information visible to you.
- Report it to the seller or marketplace: state clearly that the tracking record says delivered but the parcel was not received. Ask the seller to investigate the delivery record and advise the available resolution.
- Use the shipment’s Shadowfax support route: submit the same discrepancy through the Courier order card or the support details supplied for the shipment.
Shadowfax developer documentation describes a delivery-dispute escalation for logistics clients. Those instructions are business-client tools; they do not show that an individual recipient can submit the escalation directly or obtain a particular outcome. A consumer should work through the seller, marketplace, and shipment-specific support channel.
Which Shadowfax contact should you use?
Shadowfax publishes different contact instructions for different contexts. The following options should not be presented as one universal customer-service system.

Start with the route printed on your order or shipment message. If you use the general contact number, identify the AWB, seller order number, and where you bought the item; the published pages do not promise that one contact channel covers every Shadowfax service.

A concise, complete message reduces back-and-forth. Use a subject such as “AWB 123456789 — delivered status, parcel not received” and provide:
- AWB and seller order number.
- Recipient name and delivery postcode (send the full address only through a secure channel if requested).
- Latest status exactly as displayed and its timestamp.
- What happened, including whether anyone at the address checked with neighbors, reception, or security.
- What you want investigated: a stale scan, failed attempt, incorrect delivery scan, return, or possible loss.
- Screenshots or links only when the support system accepts them and they do not expose unnecessary personal information.
Avoid sending passwords, card numbers, one-time passcodes, or identity documents unless the seller’s authenticated support process specifically requires them. Never pay an unsolicited person who claims to be able to “release” a parcel.
Common problems and practical fixes
The seller gave only an order number
Ask for the carrier AWB or the official tracking link. The Shadowfax tracking form is designed for an AWB, while the seller’s order number identifies the purchase in its own system.

Check for transcription errors, confirm that the seller actually dispatched the parcel, and ask whether a new AWB was issued after a cancellation or rebooking. Keep the seller’s dispatch confirmation when opening a case.

The app and website show different wording
Compare event times, not just the short label. Operational status names can be transformed for a consumer interface. Send support a screenshot from the route tied to the order and quote the latest timestamp.
The status says out for delivery for more than one day
Report the stale event to the seller or marketplace and, where applicable, raise a ticket from the Courier order card. Do not treat “out for delivery” as a guaranteed same-day commitment unless the seller separately promised one under its terms.
The parcel is marked returned
Contact the seller promptly. Ask why the return was recorded, whether the item can be re-shipped, and how the seller handles any refund or replacement. Those remedies are governed by the seller or marketplace policy; the tracking status alone does not specify them.

Use the AWB on the public tracking page, or request a fresh link from the seller. Do not click an unrelated link sent from an unverified address or provide payment credentials to view tracking.
A simple decision checklist
- Have an AWB? Use Shadowfax Track Your Order.
- Have a Courier-app order? Check Order history and the order card.
- Need the reference? Look in seller details, dispatch messages, or the SMS tracking link.
- Status moving normally? Keep the latest event and monitor the official page.
- Status stale, failed, held, returned, or lost? Contact the seller or marketplace and submit the shipment-specific support request.
- Marked delivered but absent? Check household and building contacts, then report a delivery discrepancy promptly with the timestamp and AWB.
- Considering an API escalation? Do not attempt it as a consumer; the documented escalation tools are for logistics clients.
Contact details, labels, and app screens can change. Recheck the official page linked to your shipment when you act, and rely on the seller’s written order policy for any refund, replacement, or compensation decision.
