The right choice depends on the job you need done—campaign management, broader B2B demand generation, executive content, lead generation, or another LinkedIn service—plus your market, industry, funnel, internal team, and budget. Build a shortlist, verify each provider in LinkedIn’s Marketing Partner Directory, and compare exactly what its fee includes before signing.
This guide explains the current candidate list, realistic published fee examples, a practical vetting process, and the questions that expose gaps in scope, measurement, and accountability.

Start with the job, not an agency ranking
“LinkedIn marketing” describes several different jobs. An agency that excels at paid media may not provide executive ghostwriting, company-page management, employee advocacy, or full-funnel demand generation. Define the outcome and the work required before comparing names.
LinkedIn advertising and campaign management
This is the narrowest brief: audience construction, campaign setup, creative testing, bids and budgets, conversion tracking, optimization, and reporting. Confirm whether the provider works in your LinkedIn ad account, supplies ad creative, coordinates landing pages, and follows leads through to sales feedback.
#1 Best Overall
Lead generation
A lead-generation engagement may include Lead Gen Forms, conversion campaigns, offer strategy, lead routing, and qualification feedback. Ask how the agency distinguishes a form fill from a sales-qualified opportunity and who owns the handoff to your CRM or sales team.
Full-funnel B2B demand generation
Full-funnel work can span awareness, consideration, retargeting, content offers, landing pages, marketing operations, attribution, and pipeline reporting. It normally requires more strategy, creative, analytics, and coordination than media management alone.
Executive or leadership-team content
Content programs can cover one executive or several leaders. The work may include interviews, editorial planning, writing, editing, publishing support, and distribution through paid campaigns. A content specialist is not automatically a performance-media specialist, so check the team structure.
Company-page content and employee advocacy
These services focus on organic reach, page management, internal participation, and distribution by employees. They can support paid campaigns but should not be evaluated by the same deliverables as an ads-management contract.
Write a one-sentence brief such as: “We need qualified North American software opportunities from LinkedIn, with the agency managing campaigns and creative while our team owns landing pages and sales follow-up.” Every proposal should be judged against that sentence.
Where to find legitimate candidates
LinkedIn’s official Marketing Partner Directory is the most useful starting point for verification. Its filters cover specialty, service type, and region. Listed specialties include Audiences, B2B Attribution & Analytics, Campaign Management, Content & Creative, Experimentation, Insights, Lead Generation, Page Management, Reporting & ROI, Signals, and Verification. Service types are Self Service, Managed, and Project; regional filters include the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe, and Middle East & Africa.

- Ideal for a bookworm
- Compact for travelling
Use the directory to check that a provider’s current specialty and geography match your brief. A directory listing is a useful signal, not proof of performance. Confirm the current listing, named team, languages, account coverage, and scope directly because services and partner status can change.

2026 candidate shortlist: a starting point, not a universal ranking
A September 2026 comparison published by Kiin names these providers: Kiin, B2Linked, Impactable, Understory, YOYABA, Directive, Refine Labs, AdConversion, Dapper, DowSocial, Linkads, Searchlab, Sculpt, GrowthSpree, Rampiq, and KlientBoost.
Kiin discloses that it is included in the comparison it publishes. The article says facts about the other agencies were checked against their own sites on September 18, 2026, but the claims and case studies were not independently validated here. Treat the list as a source of candidates rather than an objective order of “best” agencies. For every name, verify the following before outreach or a purchase decision:
- Current LinkedIn Ads services, not just general B2B marketing.
- Your target country or region and required language coverage.
- Experience in your industry, deal size, sales cycle, and account-based marketing model.
- The specific people who will work on strategy, media, creative, analytics, and client communication.
- Recent, relevant case studies with dates, starting conditions, conversion definitions, and client references where available.
- How the provider measures qualified pipeline rather than reporting clicks alone.
- Minimum term, setup charges, ongoing management fee, creative charges, and required media budget.
- Its current specialty and service type in LinkedIn’s partner directory.
Published fee examples and what they do—and do not—tell you
Influent’s 2026 published examples provide a reference point, not a market average. The figures below exclude advertising spend and describe different scopes, so they are not directly interchangeable.
| Published monthly example | Scope described | Advertising spend | How to use the figure |
|---|---|---|---|
| About $3,000 | Ads management or one executive’s content | Excluded | Reference point for a narrower engagement; request a detailed deliverables list. |
| $5,000–$15,000 | Leadership-team content | Excluded | Range reflects a larger content program, not a standard LinkedIn Ads management fee. |
| $14,000+ | Upmarket full-funnel demand generation | Excluded | Reference point for broader strategy, creative, operations, and measurement work. |
These examples do not establish a representative industry average or a quote for any particular provider. Ask each agency to separate one-time setup, ongoing management, creative production, landing-page work, analytics, and media spend. A low management fee can become expensive if creative, tracking, or reporting is billed separately; a higher fee may be reasonable when it includes a larger team and full-funnel work.

Compare scope line by line
Agency labels such as “performance,” “demand generation,” or “LinkedIn specialist” are not standardized packages. Put the following questions into a proposal request and require a yes-or-no answer, a named owner, or a separate price.
Rank #3
Strategy and audience
- Who defines the ideal customer profile, account list, job-function filters, seniority, exclusions, and geographic segments?
- Does the agency supply audience research, or does it use your existing list?
- How will it handle small audiences, privacy thresholds, job changes, and market expansion?
- How often are audiences reviewed and refreshed?
Campaign operations
- Who builds campaigns, chooses objectives, sets bids and budgets, and manages pacing?
- Which campaign types and placements are included?
- How frequently are campaigns reviewed and what triggers a change?
- Who owns the ad account, pixels, conversion events, and historical data if the contract ends?
Creative and landing pages
- Are copy, design, video, document ads, and variants included?
- How many concepts and revisions are delivered per month?
- Who writes offers, builds landing pages, and maintains forms?
- Does the agency coordinate with your brand, legal, product, and web teams?
Lead handling and sales feedback
- How are leads routed, deduplicated, enriched, and scored?
- What is the agreed definition of a marketing-qualified lead, sales-qualified lead, and opportunity?
- Who investigates poor lead quality and how quickly are campaigns adjusted?
- Can the agency connect campaign data to your CRM and report revenue stages?
Measurement and reporting
- Will reports show spend, reach, clicks, conversions, cost per lead, lead quality, pipeline, and revenue where data is available?
- Which attribution model is used, and what can it not prove?
- Are dashboards live, monthly, or both?
- Who presents findings and recommendations, and how much analyst time is included?
A practical selection process
- Write the brief. State the product, target accounts, regions, languages, funnel stage, monthly media budget, conversion event, sales-cycle length, and internal responsibilities.
- Build a six-to-eight-provider longlist. Use LinkedIn’s directory filters and the 2026 comparison as candidate sources. Remove firms that do not list the required service or region.
- Request the same information from each provider. Ask for scope, team, relevant case evidence, fees, minimum term, onboarding plan, account ownership, and reporting examples.
- Hold a working session, not only a sales call. Give finalists a sample audience, offer, or campaign problem and ask how they would diagnose it. You are testing thinking, not requesting free campaign strategy.
- Check evidence. Ask when each case study ran, what changed, how conversions were defined, what the client supplied, and whether a reference can confirm the result. Be cautious with uncited percentage improvements.
- Score fit against your brief. Weight the factors that matter most: regional coverage, vertical expertise, creative capacity, pipeline measurement, team continuity, and commercial terms.
- Negotiate a measurable first phase. Define onboarding milestones, tracking validation, creative deliverables, review cadence, cancellation terms, and the decision rule for renewal.
Questions that reveal the real operating model
“Who will actually do the work?”
Ask for names and roles, not only an account director. Identify the strategist, media buyer, copywriter, designer, analyst, and backup contact. Confirm how many accounts each person handles and how staff changes are communicated.
“What happens in the first 30, 60, and 90 days?”
A credible plan should distinguish access and tracking, research and setup, launch and testing, and optimization against qualified outcomes. It should identify what your team must deliver and when results can reasonably be assessed.
“How do you handle weak lead quality?”
Look for a closed-loop process: inspect form fields and audience filters, review lead-to-opportunity data with sales, identify disqualifying patterns, and change targeting or offers. An agency that only reports cost per lead cannot answer this adequately.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches“What is excluded?”
Have exclusions written into the statement of work: landing-page development, video, translations, CRM integration, offline-conversion imports, data cleanup, extra markets, rush work, and travel. Exclusions are often more consequential than the headline retainer.
“What do we keep if we leave?”
Confirm ownership and export rights for ad accounts, audiences, creative source files, dashboards, conversion history, tracking configurations, and documentation. Avoid a transition that leaves you unable to operate campaigns or interpret past data.
How to evaluate performance without misleading yourself
LinkedIn metrics answer different questions. Impressions and reach describe exposure; clicks and click-through rate describe interaction; form fills and conversions describe response; qualified leads, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue describe commercial progress. A lower cost per lead is not automatically better if qualification falls.
Rank #4
Agree on a measurement hierarchy before launch. For example, use delivery metrics for pacing, conversion metrics for creative and landing-page diagnostics, and CRM stages for business decisions. Record the date of each change, the audience affected, and the conversion definition so results remain interpretable.

Budgeting beyond the retainer
Your total monthly commitment can include management, setup, creative, landing-page work, analytics, software or data services, and LinkedIn media spend. Require a proposal that lists each line separately and identifies whether it recurs.
- One-time setup: account audit, tracking, integrations, audience research, and initial creative.
- Ongoing management: planning, campaign operations, optimization, meetings, and reporting.
- Creative production: copy, design, video, document ads, translations, and revisions.
- Conversion infrastructure: landing pages, forms, CRM mapping, offline conversion imports, and testing.
- Media: the amount paid to LinkedIn, controlled by your agreed budget and pacing rules.
Influent’s examples—about $3,000 for ads management or one executive’s content, $5,000–$15,000 for a leadership team, and $14,000 or more for upmarket full-funnel demand generation—exclude media spend and cover different scopes. Use them to frame questions, not to assume what your project should cost.

Choosing a name instead of a capability
A prominent shortlist position cannot substitute for a fit with your region, vertical, funnel, or internal resources. Fix this by scoring the written brief and directory specialty before discussing brand reputation.
Comparing unlike proposals
One proposal may include creative and analytics while another covers campaign operations only. Normalize deliverables, meeting frequency, revision limits, setup charges, term, and media separately.
Best Value

- Comes with secure packaging
- Helpful in various ways
Accepting vanity metrics
Large reach or cheap clicks can coexist with poor pipeline. Require lead-quality definitions and CRM-stage reporting where your data supports it.
Ignoring account ownership
If the agency owns the ad account or tracking assets, changing providers can erase continuity. Keep administrative control and document access, naming conventions, audiences, and conversion events.
Signing a long term before validation
Use a defined initial phase with explicit onboarding and measurement milestones. Make renewal depend on learning and qualified outcomes, not an arbitrary volume of impressions.

Failing to involve sales
Marketing cannot optimize qualification without timely sales feedback. Assign a sales owner, agree on response times, and review rejected leads by reason.
When an agency is—and is not—the right choice
An agency can make sense when you need specialist campaign operations, creative capacity, independent testing, or measurement expertise that your team cannot staff quickly. It is less compelling when your audience is tiny, your offer is unproven, tracking is unavailable, or no one internally can respond to leads and supply approvals. In those cases, fix the operating constraints first or choose a narrowly scoped project rather than a full retainer.
For a small test, a project engagement may be enough to audit tracking, build an initial audience, and train your team. A managed arrangement is more suitable when the agency will continuously operate campaigns and report on results. The directory’s Self Service, Managed, and Project labels help you distinguish these models, but the contract must define the actual work.
Final decision checklist
- The provider’s current LinkedIn specialty and region match your brief.
- The proposal names the people doing the work and their backup.
- Scope covers strategy, creative, operations, landing-page coordination, lead feedback, and reporting—or clearly prices what it does not cover.
- Management fees, setup, creative, analytics, and media spend are separated.
- Case studies are dated, relevant, and explicit about definitions and client inputs.
- Account, audience, creative, tracking, and reporting assets remain accessible to you.
- Success metrics reach qualified pipeline where your CRM data permits, not clicks alone.
- The initial term includes onboarding milestones, review cadence, and an exit or transition process.
The best LinkedIn Ads agency for 2026 is the one that can perform your specific job, in your market, with transparent scope and credible measurement. Use the Kiin list to generate conversations, use LinkedIn’s directory to verify current capabilities, and let the written brief—not a generic ranking—determine the winner.
