Is CNHOSTINGER an official Hostinger coupon?
CNHOSTINGER should be treated as a reported affiliate or referral code, not as a universally confirmed official Hostinger coupon. Hostinger’s official coupon page reviewed for this article does not name CNHOSTINGER as a guaranteed, sitewide code. Third-party commercial coverage associates the code with Hostinger promotions, but that does not establish that it works for every customer, product, country, currency, or subscription term.
Hostinger’s official checkout documentation does allow customers to enter an applicable coupon manually. Existing customers can also purchase a new plan through hPanel and apply an eligible code. Hostinger says only one coupon can be used per order.

Therefore, the practical test is simple: enter the code, click Apply, and confirm that the final total actually falls. If the cart does not show a discount, do not assume that the code will be credited later.

What does “78% off” really mean?
The 78% figure is not a fixed Hostinger-wide rate. Discount percentages can be calculated against a product’s displayed regular price, a regional price, a specific subscription term, or a combination of Hostinger’s base sale and an additional coupon. That example supports approximately 76% off against the stated reference price—not exactly 78%. It demonstrates why the final checkout price matters more than a promotional headline.

Hostinger’s ordinary web-hosting page and coupon page displayed slightly different promotional figures. Both sets of prices were shown for a 48-month term and are monthly equivalents of an upfront payment. Hostinger states that listed prices exclude VAT.

The real cost is the renewal price
The introductory equivalent can make a multiyear plan look inexpensive, but the renewal rate is the figure to budget for after the promotional term.

The annual figures are simple 12-month calculations. They may not equal the exact invoice if Hostinger applies a different renewal term, taxes, or regional pricing. Hostinger may also offer renewal promotions through hPanel, but the published standard renewal rates are the safer figures for personal budgeting.
Which Hostinger plan should you choose?
Premium: suitable for a few small websites
Premium is the most economical choice for a blog, portfolio, small-business website, or a few low-to-moderate traffic sites. It includes up to three websites, 20 GB of SSD storage, and weekly backups. The plan also includes two mailboxes per website free for one year, subject to the plan’s terms.

Choose Premium if you value the lowest first-term cost and do not need daily backups or many websites. Do not choose it solely because its monthly equivalent looks low: the full 48-month amount is charged upfront.

Unlimited: better for multiple sites and daily backups
Unlimited is aimed at freelancers, small agencies, and customers managing several websites. It lists unlimited websites, 50 GB of NVMe storage, daily backups, restore tools, and free mailboxes for one year.
“Unlimited” does not mean unlimited CPU, RAM, storage, or traffic without conditions. Hostinger’s fair-use rules still apply. Check the resource terms if you expect heavy traffic or resource-intensive applications.
Cloud Startup: for growing sites and stores
Cloud Startup provides 100 GB of NVMe storage plus daily and on-demand backups. It is a better fit for a growing online store, agency, or higher-traffic project that needs more capacity than a basic shared plan.
It costs substantially more at renewal and remains managed hosting. It is not equivalent to a self-managed VPS with operating-system and server-level control.

Choose a VPS when you need custom software, server configuration, automation tools, gaming servers, or root-level control. Hostinger’s listed KVM VPS figures were:

Hostinger says VPS plans are paid upfront and that the displayed monthly amount is a monthly equivalent. A VPS can provide more control, but it generally requires more technical administration than shared or cloud hosting. View Hostinger’s VPS options.
Website Builder, WordPress, email, and domains
A beginner who wants a visual or AI-assisted site-building process may prefer Hostinger Website Builder. A WordPress-first user may prefer managed WordPress hosting. Branded email and domain registration are separate product categories with their own introductory prices, renewal terms, and eligibility rules.
Do not assume that a web-hosting coupon automatically applies to Website Builder, email, domains, WordPress hosting, cloud hosting, or VPS. The cart must identify the eligible product.

- Open Hostinger’s official hosting or coupon page.
- Select the product and plan you want.
- Choose the subscription length.
- Review the product name, term, promotional price, renewal price, domain charges, taxes, and add-ons.
- Enter
CNHOSTINGERin the coupon field if manual entry is available. - Click Apply.
- Confirm that the discount appears and that the final total decreases.
- Check that the product, term, renewal price, and optional extras have not changed unexpectedly.
- Pay only after reviewing the complete order summary.
What to do if the code fails
A failed code does not necessarily mean the site is malfunctioning. Common explanations include:

- The current sale already includes the available discount.
- The code is a referral or affiliate code rather than a general public coupon.
Try removing another coupon, rebuilding the cart in a private browser window, checking the selected country and currency, and comparing the total with and without the code. If the result remains unclear, ask Hostinger support to confirm eligibility before paying.
Additional costs to check before buying
- Upfront term: the advertised monthly amount is usually a division of a 24- or 48-month payment.
- VAT and taxes: Hostinger’s displayed prices exclude VAT, which may be added based on location.
- Domain renewal: a free domain, where included, is generally for the first year; future renewal is separate.
- Email: included mailboxes may be free only for an introductory period.
- Add-ons: extra backups, security tools, email, or other optional services can increase the order total.
- Renewal term: renewal may be billed under a different term and amount from the introductory purchase.
Refund policy: useful, but not unconditional
Hostinger advertises a 30-day money-back policy, but important exclusions apply. Its current support policy lists eligible new purchases and renewals of web, cloud, Agency, KVM VPS, and Game Panel hosting, along with Hostinger Email and Titan Email, when paid through methods other than cryptocurrency.
Key exceptions include:
- Domain renewals are non-refundable.
- Many country-code domain registrations are non-refundable.
- New registrations of many general domains, including common extensions such as .com, .net, and .org, may be refundable only within 96 hours.
- If a refunded hosting plan included a free domain, Hostinger may deduct the domain’s standard price.
- Cryptocurrency payments are excluded.
- VPS refunds are subject to a 180-day cooldown after a successful VPS refund.
- Refunding a service cancels it and stops it from working.
- AI or LLM credits may be non-refundable or deducted from a refund.
Read Hostinger’s refund policy before adding a domain or paying with a nonstandard payment method.
Hostinger versus other hosting choices
Hostinger is a reasonable choice when low first-term pricing, simple setup, and an all-in-one account matter more than monthly flexibility or dedicated resources. It is less attractive if you cannot afford a multiyear upfront payment or would struggle with the renewal price.
- Choose shared hosting for ordinary blogs, portfolios, small-business sites, and many standard WordPress websites.
- Choose cloud hosting for more resources and easier management as a site grows.
- Choose a VPS for custom applications, server configuration, and root-level control.
- Consider managed WordPress providers when specialized WordPress support and managed tooling matter more than the lowest entry price.
- Consider domain-focused providers if your domains already live elsewhere and hosting portability is the priority.
When comparing alternatives such as DreamHost, Bluehost, SiteGround, Namecheap, or Cloudways, compare the full first-term total, payment term, renewal price, backups, email allowances, migration policy, and resource limits—not just the advertised monthly equivalent.
Final verdict
Hostinger’s sale pricing is real, but the claim of a guaranteed 78% discount with CNHOSTINGER is too broad. CNHOSTINGER may work for an eligible cart, but it is promoted through third-party coverage rather than confirmed here as a universal official Hostinger code.
For a new buyer, the sensible approach is to select the right product, calculate the complete upfront payment, apply the code, verify the final total, and budget for renewal. Premium is usually the better value for a few small sites; Unlimited suits multiple sites and daily backups; Cloud Startup suits growing projects; and VPS is the correct category when server control matters.
