Golden Sky Capital should be avoided. Switzerland’s financial regulator, FINMA, added Golden Sky Capital to its official warning list on June 5, 2020. FINMA identified the business as an unauthorized financial-market operator, gave a Zürich address, linked it to goldenskycapital.com, and stated that it was not entered in the Swiss commercial register.
That warning does not amount to a criminal-court conviction for fraud. It does establish something more important for a prospective customer: Golden Sky Capital was not an authorized Swiss broker. No verified FCA, ASIC, CFTC/NFA or SEC authorization was identified either.

Is Golden Sky Capital legitimate?
No—not as a regulated broker. The clearest evidence is FINMA’s official warning. FINMA’s warning list covers businesses that may be conducting financial-market activities without the authorization required in Switzerland. Golden Sky Capital appears on that list.

A Zürich address, Swiss telephone number or website using Swiss branding cannot override the regulator’s record. Firms providing regulated financial services in Switzerland must have the relevant authorization. FINMA’s entry says Golden Sky Capital was not authorized and was not registered in the Swiss commercial register.
For someone deciding whether to deposit money, this is enough to reject the broker. You do not need to prove criminal fraud before deciding that an unregulated platform is too risky for your funds.
What does the FINMA warning mean?
FINMA added the Golden Sky Capital entry on June 5, 2020. The entry names Golden Sky Capital, gives a Zürich address and links to goldenskycapital.com. It also says the business was not entered in the Swiss commercial register.
The careful interpretation is that FINMA regarded the business as potentially carrying out financial-market activity without the required authorization. The warning is not, by itself, a criminal judgment declaring that every operator involved committed fraud. Therefore, the accurate description is unauthorized and high risk, rather than claiming that a criminal court convicted Golden Sky Capital of fraud.

No verified authorization was identified for Golden Sky Capital from the major regulators relevant to these markets:
- UK: The FCA’s Financial Services Register is the public record for firms authorized or previously authorized by the FCA or PRA. No reliable evidence was found that Golden Sky Capital held FCA authorization.
- Australia: ASIC’s professional registers are the relevant source for checking Australian financial-services licensees. No verified ASIC authorization was identified.
- United States: No verified CFTC/NFA or SEC authorization was identified. The NFA’s BASIC database is the appropriate public source for checking futures and forex firms and regulatory actions.
Because regulatory records can change and a missing search result is difficult to prove permanently, the defensible wording is: no verified FCA, ASIC, CFTC/NFA or SEC authorization was identified for Golden Sky Capital. It would be inaccurate to say that all of these regulators formally declared the business a scam.

Who operated Golden Sky Capital?
Older broker-review websites commonly connected the platform with a company called Golden Point LTD, allegedly incorporated in the Marshall Islands. That connection is not confirmed by FINMA’s warning entry, which does not provide a company-registration number or identify Golden Point LTD as the operator.
There are also unrelated companies with similar names. A UK company called Golden Point Ltd, company number 07852303, was incorporated in 2011 and dissolved on April 9, 2019. Its recorded business activity was other social work activities without accommodation, not financial brokerage. A separate company named GOLDEN POINT LTD was registered in Cyprus on August 5, 2025, with a real-estate-related description. The available records do not establish a connection between either company and Golden Sky Capital.
These similarly named entities should not be used as proof of the broker’s identity, regulation or solvency.
What do customer complaints say?
The Golden Sky Capital profile on Trustpilot is shown as unclaimed and contains two one-star reviews, dated August 16, 2021, and September 8, 2021. The reviewers allege that they could not recover deposited money, lost communication after depositing, or saw account profits that could not be withdrawn.
Those are customer allegations, not independently adjudicated findings. There are no verified bank records, account statements, court documents or regulator findings in the cited material proving each individual claim. Nonetheless, alleged withdrawal failures are highly relevant when combined with the FINMA warning. A broker that is unauthorized already fails the basic safety test, even before complaint evidence is considered.
Can you trust the Golden Sky Capital website?
Technical availability is not the same as a functioning brokerage. Domain records reproduced by Webrate indicate that goldenskycapital.com was created on October 11, 2018. Webrate also reported that the domain still returned an HTTP 200 response when checked on April 18, 2026, despite a stated registry expiry date of October 11, 2022.

That apparent discrepancy does not prove that the broker is operating. A domain can resolve to a landing page, parked page or neglected server without offering real trading, holding client assets or processing withdrawals. Webrate also reported that an associated certificate expired on November 22, 2025. An expired certificate is a technical warning, not proof of fraud, but it is consistent with an inactive or poorly maintained website.
A third-party monitoring page describes Golden Sky Capital as having ceased operations. That is not an official regulator finding and should not be treated as definitive proof of closure.
What claims about its terms cannot be verified?
Older review pages publish various figures for Golden Sky Capital, including different minimum deposits, leverage limits, spreads, fees, bonuses and payment methods. The figures conflict and cannot be independently confirmed from a reliable current broker source.

Why the common defenses do not work
“It uses a Swiss address, so it must be Swiss-regulated.”
No. FINMA’s own entry gives a Zürich address while warning that Golden Sky Capital was unauthorized and not entered in the Swiss commercial register.
“It was registered offshore, so it was legitimate.”
That claim is not established by FINMA’s warning. Even if an offshore company connection were documented, incorporation would not equal financial-services authorization, client-money protection or reliable supervision.

“The website still loads, so withdrawals should be possible.”
No. Domain resolution proves only that a server responded. It does not prove that the company is solvent, that account balances are real or that client withdrawals will be processed.
“Some reviews were positive.”
User reviews cannot replace a regulator’s authorization record, audited financial information, independently verified withdrawal history or evidence of segregated client funds.
What to do if you already deposited money
- Stop sending money. Do not pay a supposed tax, release charge, verification fee or recovery fee to unlock a withdrawal.
- Save evidence. Keep emails, chat messages, contracts, screenshots, wallet addresses, transaction IDs, bank records and telephone numbers.
- Contact the payment provider quickly. Ask your bank, card issuer, payment service or cryptocurrency exchange whether a recall, chargeback or fraud report is available. Recovery is not guaranteed, but delays reduce options.
- Secure your accounts. Change passwords reused on the broker’s website, enable two-factor authentication and revoke any remote-access software or API permissions you granted.
- Report the matter. Contact your local police or financial-fraud reporting service and the regulator relevant to your country. Provide the original evidence rather than relying only on screenshots of review pages.
Be especially cautious of “recovery agents” who contact victims promising to retrieve funds for an upfront payment. That is a common second-loss pattern.
