Cloudways’ official 2025 offer article gives conflicting deadline references: one section says November 11–December 4, another says offers were valid until December 1, and other page text gives December 5. Those dates cannot be reconciled into one definitive deadline, but the promotion is expired regardless.

The official promo page currently advertises 30% off for three months. The page describes the offer for new customers who sign up and upgrade from trial to a paid account. It also says a free migration must be requested within the first four billing cycles. Confirm the detailed terms on the campaign page before registering, since the page does not provide a universally reusable coupon code in the information reviewed.

Is the Cloudways Black Friday code still valid?
No. BFCM5050 was the code for the 2025 campaign, not a confirmed 2026 code. Check the billing area’s credits and discounts section, then contact Cloudways support or its Success Team with your account email, campaign name, code, and signup date. Cloudways’ discount guidance says discounts generally cannot be applied retroactively to past invoices; ask for clarification before scaling the account or adding paid services.
How much will Cloudways cost after the discount?
A three-month discount reduces only the introductory bills. After the promotional period, Cloudways says billing returns to the standard rate for the selected server plan and services. Estimate the cost across the period you expect to use the service, not just the first invoice:
Total cost = discounted monthly hosting × discounted months + standard monthly hosting × remaining months + add-ons + usage charges + taxes
For example, with a hypothetical standard hosting charge of $100 a month and a 50% discount for three months, hosting would cost $50 in each of those months and $100 a month thereafter. Over a 12-month period, that is $1,050 before add-ons, usage charges, and taxes. This is an arithmetic illustration, not a Cloudways plan quote; choose your own standard rate from the configuration you intend to buy.
Cloudways’ pricing page varies with application, provider, region, and server configuration. The page currently lists additional charges of $1 per GB for disk space, $0.04 per GB for bandwidth, $0.12 per hour per server for autoscaling beyond baseline, and $0.033 per GB for offsite backup storage. Treat these as a page snapshot, not a universal or guaranteed bill: check the selected configuration and current checkout before purchasing. Include applicable taxes and any paid add-ons in your own estimate.
What Cloudways hosting includes
Cloudways markets managed cloud hosting with features such as managed migration, SSL, firewall and IP blocking, backups, staging and cloning, caching, vertical scaling, and 24/7 support. Its pages also promote Lightning Stack, Copilot credits, Object Cache Pro, Redis, and vulnerability scanning. The exact availability and limits depend on the application, plan, add-on, and any campaign terms; confirm what the selected configuration includes rather than assuming every advertised feature is bundled permanently.

Cloudways’ pricing and payment documentation can help you check current billing details; its billing platform changed on April 1, 2026, so older interface walkthroughs may not match what you see.

Whether a short introductory discount is worthwhile depends on what you need after the promotion expires. Cloudways is a managed layer for cloud hosting: it offers more operational assistance than an unmanaged VPS while retaining more infrastructure choice than a basic shared-hosting package. That balance is useful for some buyers, but it is not automatically the cheapest or simplest option.
- One small WordPress or brochure site: Shared hosting may cost less and involve fewer infrastructure choices if traffic and resource needs are modest.
- WooCommerce or a business site: Managed hosting and the ability to scale may be useful if the business needs them. Compare the standard monthly bill and likely usage with your current host before moving.
- Agency with several sites to migrate: Managed migration can save staff time. The 2025 offer’s 50-migration allocation was historical, so count migration help as a benefit only if a current campaign explicitly includes it and covers your sites.
- Developer who wants full server control: A direct cloud VPS may be a better fit if you are comfortable managing security, updates, backups, and troubleshooting yourself. Cloudways’ managed approach is not the same as unrestricted root-level control.
- Budget-focused beginner: Compare the standard rate, usage charges, and setup complexity with simpler hosting before choosing based on an introductory percentage.
- Existing Cloudways customer: New-customer campaigns may not apply. Cloudways says customers can ask the Success Team about possible discounts or billing adjustments, but do not assume a new-account offer will be applied to an existing account or past invoice.
How to compare Cloudways with alternatives
Compare hosting on the whole service and its renewal economics, not just the headline discount. Lower-cost shared hosting can suit smaller, predictable workloads; premium managed WordPress services focus on a more standardized WordPress environment; direct cloud providers offer greater control but require more self-management. Other managed providers may be worth comparing, but check their own current official terms rather than assuming they have a live Black Friday promotion.
- Discount duration and standard renewal price
- Server resources, application limits, and scaling model
- Migration scope and whether assistance is included
- Backup storage and retention, bandwidth, and other usage charges
- Support scope and the amount of server administration you must handle
- Application flexibility and access to server controls
- Billing structure, taxes, and the expected cost after introductory terms end
Cloudways’ official pricing page is the place to configure its current offer and standard price. For a different provider, verify the equivalent details in that provider’s current plan and checkout pages; a cheaper first invoice alone does not show which service costs less over time.
