Who is eligible?
Core requirements
- You must accept Piggyvest’s Terms of Use and register an account.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must be a Nigerian citizen or legal resident.
- You must have a Nigerian bank account.
- You must provide the identity information Piggyvest requests.
- You need an active Piggyvest account and access to the app to use Ride Goals.
The service currently operates only in Nigeria and is available to users with Nigerian bank accounts. A person living abroad without a qualifying Nigerian account should not assume that a foreign account, card or address will satisfy the requirements.
Before subscribing
Confirm that your account verification is complete, your Nigerian bank account is in your name, and your app shows the vehicle and term you intend to choose. If the app requests additional identity information, complete that process before transferring a large amount. Eligibility to open an account does not guarantee that every vehicle or payment route will be available to you at every moment.
How much do you pay and how is the target calculated?
Choose a contribution frequency and term
You select one of four frequencies—daily, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly—and one of four terms: 3, 6, 9 or 12 months. The app takes the vehicle price shown for your selection and divides the required amount across the chosen schedule. The resulting instalment is a planning figure for that vehicle and term, not a universal monthly price for all cars.

The first save occurs when you subscribe unless you switch off “Start saving immediately.” That setting matters if you want to review the plan before money leaves your funding source.

Use the route displayed for your account and keep evidence of each payment. A transfer that is pending, sent from an unsupported account or made after a plan has changed may not update the target immediately; check the in-app balance before assuming the contribution has been credited.
Worked price example from October 2026
Piggyvest’s October 2026 product example listed a Changan Eado Elite at ₦31,164,250. A 5% discount on a 12-month plan reduced the target in that example to ₦29,606,038. Those figures describe that listing at that time; they are not a guaranteed current quotation. A different vehicle, term or app update can produce a different target.

What happens if the vehicle price changes?
Vehicle prices are not locked permanently by the first screen you see. Piggyvest says the target can adjust if the vehicle price changes and that it will notify the saver in advance. Read any adjustment notice carefully: it may change the amount still required, the instalment needed to finish on time, or whether your selected term remains practical. Save a copy of the notice and the revised target.

How does delivery work?
Address and fulfilment sequence
- Select the vehicle and plan in the GetIT app.
- Enter or choose the delivery address shown during checkout.
- Complete the scheduled savings until the target is reached.
- Piggyvest sends the completed order to Mikano for processing.
- Mikano delivers the vehicle to the address supplied in the app.
The published FAQ describes delivery as occurring within the applicable delivery window after the target date or completion. It does not provide one universal number of days for every model. Check the exact window displayed for your selected vehicle and plan, and make sure the address, phone number and access instructions are accurate before the target is completed.
Who is responsible for what?
Piggyvest operates the savings plan and communicates the target and order status; Mikano handles vehicle processing and delivery. If a status remains unchanged after completion, contact Piggyvest support with your plan details and payment records, and ask which Mikano fulfilment stage has been reached. Do not arrange a separate delivery payment or change the address through an unofficial channel.

Can you cancel or withdraw before delivery?
Early cancellation
Breaking or cancelling the plan early incurs a 5% fee on the amount withdrawn under the published car-plan rules. The fee applies to the amount you take out, so the cash you receive will be lower than the gross balance withdrawn.
Cancellation within 24 hours
Cancellation within 24 hours is free unless you paid by card or bank transfer. Because the exception depends on the payment route, check the transaction method recorded in the app before relying on a fee-free cancellation.

Once the target is reached, the order cannot be cancelled. Treat the completion point as a commitment to fulfilment: verify the vehicle, delivery address and contract terms before allowing the final contribution to take the plan to its target.

What if the car is late, defective or rejected?
Piggyvest’s published car-plan materials explain the savings cancellation rules and the delivery window, but they do not publish a separate car-specific refund procedure for a vehicle that arrives late, has a defect or is rejected on inspection. That is an unresolved contract question, not an automatic promise of a refund.
Before paying, request the current written Piggyvest–Mikano agreement and look for terms covering:
- What counts as a delivery delay and what notice you receive.
- Inspection, acceptance and reporting deadlines for damage or mechanical defects.
- Repair, replacement, rejection and return responsibilities.
- Whether a refund is available, who issues it and how long it takes.
- Any deductions, transport charges, registration costs or other non-refundable amounts.
Keep the order confirmation, target-change notices, payment receipts, delivery record and photographs of the vehicle. If a problem occurs, notify Piggyvest and Mikano through their documented support channels promptly and ask for a written case number. Do not assume that the early-savings 5% rule also governs a post-delivery dispute; the available materials do not say that it does.

GetIT may suit a buyer who can meet a fixed target within a year and values a structured route to a new Mikano vehicle. Independent saving offers more control over timing and seller choice. Finance may spread repayment beyond 12 months, but approval, interest and security requirements can make the total cost materially different.
Practical checklist before you subscribe
- Verify your Piggyvest account, identity details and Nigerian bank account.
- Open the exact vehicle listing and record its displayed price, term, frequency and delivery window.
- Calculate whether the required contribution fits your income after essential expenses.
- Decide whether the first contribution should occur immediately; switch off “Start saving immediately” if you need review time.
- Confirm which payment route—bank transfer, Flex Naira or PocketApp—you will use and how you will retain receipts.
- Read the current Piggyvest–Mikano contract, especially price adjustments, inspection, delay, rejection and refund language.
- Check the cancellation consequences before making a large contribution, including the 24-hour payment-method exception.
- Make sure the delivery address and contact details are correct and accessible.
- Save every notice if the target changes, and do not assume an old price remains valid.
Bottom line for prospective savers
Ride Goals is a structured Nigeria-only path to a new Mikano car: choose a vehicle, save on a daily-to-monthly schedule for up to 12 months, and receive delivery after reaching the target. Its key trade-offs are exposure to vehicle-price changes, a 5% early-withdrawal charge in most cases, and the loss of cancellation rights once the target is reached. The largest information gap is what happens after delivery if the vehicle is late, defective or rejected. Resolve that gap in writing before you fund the plan.
