A leak published on August 19, 2025, attributed to tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore and reported by XpertPick, outlined the expected prices, colors, and storage options for the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro. Xiaomi later launched the series globally on September 24, 2025, making it possible to compare the rumor with the retail products.
The leak was broadly credible, but it was not a complete specification sheet. It got the Pro’s starting price, the 12GB RAM baseline, and the general color strategy largely right. It missed the Xiaomi 15T’s later-documented 512GB option and treated the 1TB Pro as only a possibility, even though Xiaomi subsequently listed that version in the UAE.

What the Xiaomi 15T leak claimed
The original report presented the following European pricing and configuration details:
| Model | Leaked configuration | Leaked price | Leaked colors |
|---|---|---|---|
| Xiaomi 15T | 12GB RAM, 256GB storage | €649 | Gold, Gray, Black |
| Xiaomi 15T Pro | 12GB RAM, 256GB storage | €799 | Gold, Gray, Black |
| Xiaomi 15T Pro | 12GB RAM, 512GB storage | €899 | Gold, Gray, Black |
| Possible extra | Xiaomi 15T Pro with 1TB | Not specified | Market-dependent |
Gizmochina’s report attributed these details to Sudhanshu Ambhore, who reportedly shared them with XpertPick. At the time, this was tipster-sourced information—not a Xiaomi announcement, official product page, retailer listing, or regulatory filing.

How accurate was the leaked pricing?
The Pro’s leaked starting price was directionally accurate. Launch coverage reported the Xiaomi 15T Pro at €799 for the 256GB version, matching the leak’s headline Pro price. However, the €649, €799, and €899 figures should be treated as reported European pricing, not worldwide prices.
Xiaomi’s official UAE launch terms used dirham pricing instead:
| Model | RAM and storage | UAE launch price |
|---|---|---|
| Xiaomi 15T | 12GB + 256GB | AED 1,599 |
| Xiaomi 15T | 12GB + 512GB | AED 1,799 |
| Xiaomi 15T Pro | 12GB + 256GB | AED 2,299 |
| Xiaomi 15T Pro | 12GB + 512GB | AED 2,499 |
| Xiaomi 15T Pro | 12GB + 1TB | AED 2,699 |
These UAE prices are not direct euro conversions and should not be presented as U.S. prices. Regional taxes, launch promotions, currency positioning, retailer policies, and availability can all change the amount a buyer actually pays. The official UAE terms also stated that launch gifts and inventory were limited and available while supplies lasted.

This was the leak’s clearest omission. The report described the standard Xiaomi 15T as a single 12GB + 256GB model. Xiaomi’s UAE launch documentation later listed both:
- 12GB RAM with 256GB storage
- 12GB RAM with 512GB storage
That distinction matters for buyers comparing the lower-priced phone with the Pro. Someone who takes many photos, records high-resolution video, installs large games, or keeps media offline may find the 512GB version more practical for long-term ownership. The extra capacity is less important for users who stream most content and regularly move photos to cloud storage.
Was the 1TB Xiaomi 15T Pro real?
Yes—at least in the UAE launch market. The original leak mentioned a 1TB Xiaomi 15T Pro as a possibility in selected markets. Xiaomi’s UAE terms later listed a 12GB + 1TB version at AED 2,699.
That confirms the model existed in at least one regional launch lineup. It does not prove that every country received the 1TB version. Xiaomi frequently varies storage tiers, colors, promotional bundles, and prices by market, so buyers should check their own country’s Xiaomi store or official product page before budgeting for it.
Recommended Free Tools
The 1TB model makes the most sense for buyers who keep a very large local photo and video library, record frequently at high resolution, or install many large games. For ordinary use, the 512GB version is likely to provide a better balance between capacity and cost.
Were the leaked colors correct?
Only broadly. The leak listed Gold, Gray, and Black for both models. Reported launch coverage later listed the standard Xiaomi 15T in:

The Xiaomi 15T Pro was reported in:
- Black
- Gray
- Mocha Gold
In other words, the leak appears to have identified the broad color families, but the final retail names were more specific. “Gold” became “Rose Gold” for the standard model and “Mocha Gold” for the Pro in reported launch coverage.
Exact availability can still vary by country, retailer, storage tier, and stock. A color shown in a launch presentation may not be offered in every market. Product photography can also make gray, black, and dark-gold finishes look similar under different lighting.

What happened after the leak?
- August 19, 2025: The price, storage, and color leak was published.
- September 24, 2025: Xiaomi announced the 15T series globally at an event in Munich.
- September 26, 2025: Japanese launch coverage reported the local release schedule.
- September 27, 2025: Xiaomi announced the series’ arrival in Hong Kong.
- October 2025 onward: Regional retail listings, reviews, and launch promotions became available.
Xiaomi’s global launch announcement positioned the phones as high-end or upper-midrange devices with Leica camera technology, rather than budget phones.
Relevant hardware context
The storage variants are particularly relevant because the Pro was marketed around advanced camera hardware. Xiaomi’s Singapore specification page lists the Pro with 12GB RAM configurations, UFS 4.1 storage, a Leica-branded camera system, a 50MP main camera, a 50MP 115mm-equivalent super-telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultrawide camera. It also lists 8K video at 30 frames per second and 4K video at up to 120 frames per second.
Those features can generate large files, making 512GB or 1TB more useful for heavy camera users. They do not automatically make the higher-capacity model good value for everyone. Buyers should compare the local price difference with their actual storage habits rather than paying for capacity they will never use. See the official Xiaomi 15T Pro specifications for the regional hardware listing.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What buyers should check before paying
1. Use local pricing, not the leaked euro figure
The leak’s euro prices are useful for understanding the expected market position, but they are not a universal MSRP. Check the official Xiaomi store for your country and confirm whether the listed amount is a launch price, standard price, or temporary promotion.
Do not convert the UAE price into euros or dollars and assume the result is the local retail price. Regional pricing may include different taxes, bundles, and commercial terms.
2. Compare the storage premium
The 256GB version is generally the value choice for ordinary users. The 512GB version is more suitable for long-term ownership, frequent photography, large games, and offline media. The 1TB Pro is primarily for unusually heavy local storage needs.
Also confirm whether expandable storage is supported in your market. Do not assume that a flagship-style Xiaomi phone includes a microSD slot without checking the regional specification sheet.

3. Confirm the exact color name and stock
“Gold” in a leak does not guarantee that the retail box will say Gold. The final names may be Rose Gold or Mocha Gold, and some finishes may be unavailable with particular storage tiers.
4. Be cautious with imports
The evidence for this launch is primarily European, Middle Eastern, and Asian. It does not establish a U.S. launch, U.S. MSRP, U.S. warranty coverage, or guaranteed U.S. carrier compatibility.
An imported model may involve different cellular bands, region-specific software, Google-service or bootloader considerations, charger-plug differences, import taxes, and more difficult returns. These risks vary by model and seller, so check the exact regional version before ordering.
Should you choose the Xiaomi 15T or 15T Pro?
The standard Xiaomi 15T is the more sensible option if you want the lower entry price and do not need the Pro’s more advanced camera hardware. The 512GB version may be worth considering if the local premium is reasonable.
The Xiaomi 15T Pro is aimed at buyers who place greater value on camera capability, higher-end hardware, and larger storage options. Its 1TB version is compelling only for a narrower group of buyers with substantial local storage needs.

Verdict
The August 19, 2025 leak was a strong early preview, but it was not fully accurate or complete. It correctly pointed to a 12GB RAM baseline, a €799 starting price for the Xiaomi 15T Pro, and three broad color families. Its biggest omissions were the standard Xiaomi 15T’s 512GB option and the Xiaomi 15T Pro’s officially documented 1TB version in the UAE.
For a purchase decision, treat the leak as historical context. Use the official regional Xiaomi listing for the price, storage tier, color, warranty, and promotion that actually apply to you.
