There is no single best time to post on TikTok in 2026. The major studies disagree: Buffer reports Sunday at 9 a.m. as its strongest single slot, Sprout Social favors Tuesday through Thursday afternoons, Metricool finds a concentration around 6–8 p.m., and SocialPilot highlights 8 a.m., 2–4 p.m., and 8 p.m.
If you have no account data yet, use this as a defensible testing baseline, with every time interpreted in the audience’s local time:
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
- Tuesday–Thursday: 2–6 p.m.
- Weekday evening: 6–8 p.m.
- Morning experiment: 7–10 a.m.
- Weekend experiments: Saturday 3–5 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
These are starting windows, not guarantees. The schedule you should keep is the one that repeatedly improves your goal—watch time, shares, followers, leads, sales, or LIVE attendance—in TikTok Studio Analytics.

Start with four broad windows rather than betting everything on one supposedly perfect minute:
#1 Best Overall
| Test window | Suggested starting point | Best use |
|---|---|---|
| Weekday morning | 7–10 a.m. | Education, professional advice, finance, commuting, and planning content |
| Weekday afternoon | Tuesday–Thursday, 2–6 p.m. | The strongest broad weekday cluster in the current Sprout Social benchmark |
| Weekday evening | 6–8 p.m. | Entertainment, lifestyle, shopping, LIVE, and after-work viewing |
| Weekend | Saturday 3–5 p.m. or Sunday 9 a.m.–1 p.m. | Leisure, family, travel planning, local, and creator-led content |
Use the same broad windows for at least three comparable tests each. Do not assume that a post published when followers are online will automatically go viral. TikTok considers viewer interactions, watch behavior, video information, location, language, time zone, day, and device information; TikTok says interactions and watch behavior generally carry more weight than many user-information signals. TikTok’s recommendation documentation is the authoritative explanation.
Why the 2026 best-time studies disagree
The studies are useful for choosing experiments, but their headline results are not directly interchangeable. They analyze different accounts, time periods, outcomes, and time-zone systems.
Recommended Free Tools
| Study | Dataset and period | Strongest reported times | Time-zone treatment | Important limitation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Buffer | 7.1 million TikTok posts published through Buffer; published in 2026 | Sunday 9 a.m.; Monday 1 p.m.; Sunday 1 p.m.; evenings generally strong | Buffer describes its calculations as timezone-agnostic | Buffer-connected accounts and posts may not represent every type of TikTok account |
| Sprout Social | Nearly 2 billion engagements across about 307,000 social profiles, November 27, 2025–February 27, 2026 | Tuesday–Friday afternoons, especially Tuesday–Thursday from 2–6 p.m. | Local time | Measures engagement volume, not necessarily engagement rate, watch time, reach, or conversions |
| Metricool | 2,314,756 posts from more than 92,000 accounts; January–February 2025 compared with January–February 2026 | 6–8 p.m. generally; Sunday at 8 p.m. appears especially strong | Global system data | Metricool-connected accounts and its selected measures may favor particular account types |
| SocialPilot | 700,000 posts from more than 50,000 accounts, January 1–December 10, 2025 | 8 a.m., 2–4 p.m., and 8 p.m.; Tuesday–Thursday strongest | General timings are described as timezone-agnostic; country tables use stated local reference zones | The connected-account population and public weighting by account size are not fully comparable with other studies |
| Hootsuite | More than 1 million social posts across 118 countries, plus stated experiments; 2025 data | Thursday 6–9 a.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.–6 p.m. | Localized across countries | It is a 2025 benchmark rather than a 2026 dataset |
| Later | Later’s social-team experience and tool data | Monday–Friday at 10 a.m. Pacific; Thursday and Friday strongest | Pacific time for the stated benchmark | Not a broad, independently described cross-account public study |
There are six main reasons for the disagreement:
- They measure different outcomes. Buffer reports engagement patterns and median engagement rate; Sprout Social reports engagement volume; Metricool emphasizes views and traffic concentration; other tools may focus on follower activity, reach, or recommendations. A time that produces the most raw engagements for large accounts may not produce the highest engagement rate for a small account.
- The account populations differ. Each company primarily sees accounts connected to its own platform or customer base. Their samples do not contain the same industries, countries, creators, brands, audience sizes, or publishing habits.
- The publication periods differ. Audience routines, trends, platform features, and content saturation change. A result based on late 2025 can differ from one based on early 2026.
- Time zones are handled differently. Sprout Social reports local time; Hootsuite localizes its international sample; Buffer says its recommendations are mathematically normalized; SocialPilot provides general timings and country-specific reference zones. A clock time cannot be compared confidently until you know what the source means by that clock time.
- Content mixes differ. A sample heavy in entertainment may favor evenings and weekends. A sample dominated by brand accounts may favor workday afternoons. Photo posts, LIVE sessions, tutorials, and product videos may also have different audience routines.
- Correlation is not causation. High-performing accounts may already have better hooks, stronger communities, larger audiences, and more consistent content. Their posting time may correlate with performance without being the primary reason for it.
Buffer’s broader 2026 engagement report makes the useful broader point that timing is an amplifier, not a substitute for relevant, satisfying content. Public benchmarks should therefore choose your first tests—not dictate your permanent schedule.
Best time to post on TikTok by day of the week
The table below combines the major published benchmarks. It is a comparison of evidence, not a claim that every account should use the same hour.
| Day | Reported benchmark patterns | Practical test interpretation |
|---|---|---|
| Monday | Sprout Social: 3–5 p.m.; Buffer: 1 p.m.; SocialPilot: 5–7 p.m. and 10–11 p.m.; Metricool: 8 p.m. | Test afternoon and evening. Monday behavior varies sharply by audience and study. |
| Tuesday | Sprout Social: 2–6 p.m.; Buffer: 6 a.m.; SocialPilot: 8 a.m., 2–4 p.m., and 8 p.m.; Metricool: 8 p.m. | A useful day for morning, afternoon, and evening comparisons. |
| Wednesday | Sprout Social: 1–8 p.m.; Buffer: 10 p.m.; SocialPilot: 8 a.m., 2–4 p.m., and 8 p.m.; Metricool: 7–8 p.m. | Often a strong testing day, but the exact hour is highly dataset-dependent. |
| Thursday | Sprout Social: 1–5 p.m.; Hootsuite: 6–9 a.m.; Buffer: 1 p.m.; SocialPilot: 9 a.m., 2–4 p.m., and 8 p.m. | Test morning and afternoon separately rather than averaging them into one result. |
| Friday | Sprout Social: 3–5 p.m.; Buffer: 6 p.m.; SocialPilot: 8 a.m. and 1–3 p.m.; Metricool: 8 p.m. | Afternoon and evening are sensible tests for entertainment and lifestyle; professional audiences may peak earlier. |
| Saturday | Buffer reports Saturday as its strongest overall day, especially 3–5 p.m.; Hootsuite: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; SocialPilot: 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 8 p.m.; Sprout Social reports weak weekends. | Do not automatically exclude Saturday. Weekend results vary more than weekday results. |
| Sunday | Buffer’s strongest single slot is 9 a.m.; Metricool highlights 8 p.m.; SocialPilot reports 9–10 a.m. and 4 p.m.; Sprout Social advises avoiding Sunday. | Test both Sunday morning and evening if the audience has leisure or planning behavior. |
One broad practical recommendation is to make Tuesday through Thursday afternoons your first test, add weekday evenings, and then test Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. SocialPilot identifies 2–4 a.m., particularly late Sunday night, as a weak general window, so it is a reasonable default to avoid unless your own audience data points there.
Best time by industry
Industry tables are third-party starting points, not TikTok-issued recommendations. The audience’s age, work or school schedule, location, opening hours, buying cycle, and content objective usually matter more than the industry label.

How to turn an industry table into a useful test
- Finance: test market-opening or morning information, lunch learning, and late-afternoon planning separately. Breaking news may need to be published when it happens rather than held for a benchmark window.
- Restaurants and food: publish early enough for viewers to plan a meal. The busiest service period is not automatically the best time to create demand.
- Retail and ecommerce: test before shopping decisions, product launches, sale deadlines, and relevant payday or seasonal cycles.
- Education: distinguish K–12 parents, current pupils, college applicants, university students, and professional learners.
- Healthcare: use different tests for patient education, wellness, recruiting, and appointment conversion.
- Travel: test after-work hours and Sunday planning periods, while accounting for seasonal booking behavior.
- Local businesses: prioritize the audience’s location, local events, operating hours, and Local Feed eligibility over a global benchmark.
- Nonprofits and government: test when the audience can take the intended action, not only when it is likely to watch.
These are strategic hypotheses based on audience behavior, not universal findings. Keep them only if your account’s results support them.
Best time by country and audience location
Post according to where the viewers are, not necessarily where the creator or social-media manager lives. An account run from Europe but aimed at U.S. viewers should initially test U.S. audience-local time. TikTok says location, language, time zone, and day can be recommendation signals, but also says user behavior such as watching, finishing, skipping, liking, sharing, and commenting generally receives more weight.
Published location starting points
The following windows come from SocialPilot’s country analysis. They are broad starting points, not national rules. Convert or interpret them using the audience’s actual local time zone; the United States, Canada, and Australia each span multiple time zones.
| Audience location | Reported starting windows | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| United States | 7–10 a.m.; 1–6 p.m.; late-week evenings | Reported in EDT. Convert for the actual target region rather than using the creator’s clock. |
| Australia | 7–10 a.m.; 12–3 p.m.; 7–10 p.m. toward the weekend | Test separately for Eastern, Central, and Western Australian audiences. |
| Philippines | 4:30–7:30 p.m.; 9:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.; additional late-night or early-morning windows late in the week | Use Philippine Time, then validate against follower activity. |
| Germany | 7–10 a.m.; 12–4 p.m.; evenings | Weekday and weekend patterns may differ. |
| Canada | 7–10 a.m.; evening spikes | Canada spans several time zones, so national averages are especially approximate. |
| Pakistan | Around 5 p.m. and 9 p.m.; stronger evening activity Wednesday–Sunday | Test the two evening peaks separately. |
| Bangladesh | 6–9 p.m.; additional overnight windows | The reported pattern is broad and should be treated cautiously. |
| Nigeria | 6–10 a.m.; 7–9 p.m.; some midday Tuesday–Saturday windows | Compare morning and evening performance rather than averaging them. |
| South Africa | 7–10 a.m.; 11 a.m.–2 p.m.; 8–10 p.m. | Weekend evenings may differ from weekday behavior. |
| Kenya | Around 8 a.m., noon, and 9–11 p.m. | Use East Africa Time and confirm with audience analytics. |

What about the United Kingdom, Europe, Singapore, and India?
There is no single Europe-wide clock, and the supplied major studies do not provide a directly comparable, transparent country-specific benchmark for every one of these markets. For the United Kingdom, continental Europe, Singapore, and India, begin with the broad local-time matrix—weekday morning, Tuesday–Thursday afternoon, weekday evening, and one weekend slot—then use TikTok Studio to narrow it.
Do not copy a precise country table from a secondary site as if it were a TikTok-wide fact. Country guides from sites such as TokPortal and Influencer Marketing Hub do not consistently disclose sample sizes, account composition, metric definitions, or statistical confidence. They may supply ideas, but first-party account data is more relevant.
Handling a split audience across time zones
- Audience-majority approach: publish for the region containing the largest share of viewers.
- Overlap approach: choose a time that reaches two important regions during their active periods. For a U.S.- and U.K.-focused account, early afternoon Eastern Time can be a reasonable hypothesis because it may reach U.K. viewers in early evening; test it rather than treating it as proven.
- Staggered approach: publish separate content versions at different local times when two regions are both strategically important.
Also account for daylight-saving changes, school holidays, national holidays, Ramadan, major sports events, shopping festivals, and local cultural calendars. A local account should usually prioritize local relevance and recency; an international discovery account may benefit from testing overlap windows.
Best time by content type and format
Large studies provide stronger evidence about some format differences than about exact time-by-format schedules. Do not assume that a video, photo carousel, text post, product demonstration, and LIVE session should all use the same timetable.
| Content type | First timing hypothesis | How to evaluate it | Evidence status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Short entertainment video | 6–10 p.m.; Friday–Sunday afternoon or evening | Views, completion, shares, rewatches, and follower growth | Audience-behavior hypothesis, not a universal benchmark |
| Educational tutorial | Weekday morning, lunch, or after-school/evening | Average watch time, completion, saves, shares, and questions | Test against the actual learner audience |
| Finance or professional advice | Weekday morning, lunch, and late afternoon | Saves, qualified comments, profile visits, newsletter signups, leads, or sales | Several weekday windows appear in industry data, but no single hour is universal |
| Product demonstration | 2–6 p.m. and evening | Product-page visits, add-to-cart activity, purchases, and assisted conversions | Test before shopping decisions; do not optimize only for views |
| Restaurant content | Before meal-planning periods, often mid-afternoon | Local reach, directions, reservations, orders, and offer redemptions | Directionally consistent with the afternoon industry windows |
| Travel inspiration | Late afternoon, evening, and Sunday planning periods | Saves, destination searches, inquiries, and bookings | Strategic hypothesis supported by reported travel windows |
| Photo or carousel post | Lunch, evening, and search-led windows | Saves, shares, comments, profile visits, and search-driven activity | Exact time-by-format evidence remains limited |
| Text post | Test alongside the audience’s strongest discussion windows | Comments, shares, profile visits, and follow-up actions | No universal time claim supported by the supplied studies |
| TikTok LIVE | 6–8 p.m. as an initial test | Peak concurrent viewers, average watch time, comments, gifts, clicks, or sales | Metricool finding; not a TikTok guarantee |
| Local offer or event | Before the offer, event, meal, or service window | Local views, directions, registrations, visits, and redemptions | Local relevance and recency hypothesis |
| Search-led explainer | Test when the target audience searches or plans, plus evergreen weekday windows | Search traffic, watch time, saves, and qualified profile actions | Exact hour depends on query and audience behavior |
There is some evidence that format affects typical performance. In Buffer’s 2025 dataset, TikTok video had a median engagement rate of about 3.39%, compared with 1.92% for images. Metricool’s 2026 study reports approximately five times more views and six times more interactions for video than images in its own dataset. These figures are not interchangeable universal TikTok benchmarks: the studies use different accounts, periods, definitions, and methodologies. See Buffer’s 2026 engagement report and Metricool’s 2026 TikTok study.
Separate four ideas when making a schedule:
- Format: video, photo, carousel, text, or LIVE.
- Editorial topic: entertainment, education, finance, food, travel, beauty, gaming, or another subject.
- Business objective: reach, engagement, traffic, leads, sales, event attendance, or LIVE viewers.
- Distribution path: For You, Following, Search, Local Feed, LIVE, or profile traffic.
A photo carousel that earns saves and search traffic may be more valuable than a short video with more immediate views. A finance explainer that generates five qualified leads may outperform an entertainment clip with ten times the reach.
How TikTok’s recommendation system changes the timing question
TikTok does not publish a universal rule saying that creators should post at a particular hour. Its documentation identifies several categories of signals:
- User interactions, including likes, shares, comments, follows, and skips.
- Watch behavior, including whether people watch and finish a video.
- Video information such as captions, sounds, and hashtags.
- Language, location, time zone, day, device, and account settings.
The defensible conclusion is that posting when relevant viewers are active may create a better opportunity for early viewing and interaction. It does not compensate for a weak hook, poor relevance, low watch time, or an unsatisfying video. Avoid saying that TikTok automatically pushes every post published at the right time.
Quick wins for a faster PC:

Search and local discovery can continue sending viewers to useful content. In February 2026, TikTok announced a U.S. Local Feed for nearby travel, events, restaurants, shopping, small businesses, and local creators. TikTok said Local Feed posts can be shown based on location, topic, and when the post was published. See the TikTok Local Feed announcement. Availability and relevance are geographic and feature-specific, so local businesses should not treat this U.S. announcement as a worldwide guarantee.
How to find your account’s best time in TikTok Studio
TikTok’s current creator workflow is centered on TikTok Studio, although labels and availability can vary by account, region, language, app version, and platform.
In the TikTok app
- Open Profile.
- Tap the Menu button, shown as ☰.
- Select TikTok Studio.
- Open Analytics.
- Review the account, content, viewer, and follower sections.
For the specific follower-activity view, current third-party instructions commonly use Analytics → View all → Followers → Most active times. The exact menu may not appear identically for every account. TikTok’s own TikTok Studio support page confirms that Studio includes viewer activity times, viewer demographics, follower insights, and post-performance analytics.
On the web
TikTok directs creators to tiktok.com/tiktokstudio for TikTok Studio. Browser features and scheduling availability can vary by region and account. Review the audience’s top territories, viewer activity times, follower activity, and individual post performance together; an active-follower chart alone does not tell you which content will convert best.

What to record for every test post
- Publication date, day, exact time, and time zone.
- Audience’s primary location or region.
- Format, topic, and objective.
- Video length and opening hook.
- Sound, trend, caption, and hashtags.
- Views at one hour, 24 hours, and seven days.
- Average watch time and completion or retention rate, where available.
- Likes, comments, shares, saves, and new followers.
- Profile views, link clicks, leads, sales, or other relevant actions.
- For LIVE, peak concurrent viewers and average watch time.
Use a spreadsheet if Studio does not give you a convenient comparison view. Record the time zone explicitly; otherwise daylight-saving changes can make two apparently identical posts incomparable.

A repeatable four-week testing plan
A good experiment asks which window performs best for a defined objective, not which post happened to go viral.
1. Choose four windows
- Morning: one slot between 7 and 10 a.m.
- Afternoon: one slot between 2 and 4 p.m., preferably Tuesday–Thursday at first.
- Evening: one slot between 6 and 8 p.m.
- Weekend: one Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning slot.
Choose exact times you can publish consistently. If your audience is concentrated in another country, convert these windows to that audience’s local clock before scheduling.
2. Test each window at least three times
Four windows tested three times require at least 12 posts. At three posts per week, that is a four-week test. Rotate the weekday used for each window so that you do not accidentally conclude that Wednesday is best when the real difference was the subject matter or day.
3. Keep the comparison fair
- Use similar content quality, length, topic difficulty, and production effort.
- Do not assign every finance explainer to mornings and every entertainment clip to evenings.
- Keep publishing frequency reasonably consistent.
- Do not change the caption strategy, paid promotion, or audience target halfway through without recording it.
- Do not reuse one identical video so frequently that audience fatigue becomes the result.
4. Compare medians, not isolated winners
For each window, compare the median 24-hour and seven-day performance across its three or more tests. A single viral outlier can distort an average. Look for a repeated advantage in the metric tied to the objective:
| Objective | Primary metrics |
|---|---|
| Awareness | Reach, views, unique viewers, and completion rate |
| Engagement | Shares, saves, meaningful comments, and engagement rate |
| Community growth | New followers, repeat viewers, and profile visits |
| Finance education | Average watch time, completion, saves, shares, and qualified questions |
| Leads or sales | Profile visits, link clicks, signups, applications, purchases, or attributed revenue |
| LIVE | Peak concurrent viewers, average watch time, comments, clicks, and sales |
5. Keep, refine, or reject the window
Keep a time slot when it repeatedly improves the metric that matters. Refine it if the results suggest a day-specific pattern—for example, afternoon works Tuesday–Thursday but not Friday. Reject it only after enough comparable tests, not after one weak post.
Timing tests should continue as the audience changes. A new geographic audience, school holiday, seasonal event, product launch, or change in content mix can alter the best window.
Scheduling and time-zone checklist
TikTok Studio supports uploading, scheduling, editing, content management, analytics, and scheduled-post management, with some functions more fully available on the web. See TikTok’s creator-tools documentation.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteThird-party schedulers such as Buffer, Hootsuite, Later, Metricool, and SocialPilot may add calendars, approvals, multi-account workflows, recommended times, and analytics. Their recommendations are based on their own data and eligibility rules. For example, Hootsuite describes recommendations based on account performance and follower activity; that does not make a vendor’s recommendation a universal TikTok rule.

Before scheduling
- Confirm the scheduler’s time zone and whether it follows daylight-saving changes.
- Schedule for the audience’s time zone, not automatically the manager’s time zone.
- Check whether the account has multiple important regions; use majority, overlap, or staggered publishing.
- Confirm privacy, comments, duet, stitch, and download settings.
- Check commercial-music and audio permissions for business content.
- Make sure someone can monitor early comments when community response is part of the post’s objective.
- Do not schedule a trend-dependent video so far in advance that the trend may expire.
- Publish time-sensitive event, offer, or breaking-news content early enough for viewers to act.
If a scheduled post fails
- Check whether it is still scheduled, processing, or marked failed.
- Confirm the account time zone and privacy settings.
- Verify the media, caption, sound, permissions, and account status.
- Publish manually if the timing is still relevant.
- Record the failure so it does not silently contaminate your timing experiment.
- Avoid immediately deleting and reposting unless there is a clear technical or policy reason.
Common mistakes in best-time articles
- Presenting one exact time as universal: the current studies name Sunday morning, weekday afternoon, weekday evening, Thursday morning, and Saturday afternoon as winners in different datasets.
- Mixing metrics: best engagement rate, most views, highest raw engagement, most followers online, best conversion time, and best LIVE attendance are different questions.
- Hiding methodology: a benchmark should identify its data period, sample, geography, metric, and time-zone treatment.
- Using outdated interface labels: older guides may refer to Creator Tools or Business Suite; TikTok’s current creator workflow centers on TikTok Studio, though labels still vary.
- Confusing creator and audience location: the relevant clock is the audience’s local time.
- Ignoring local discovery: the U.S. Local Feed makes location, topic, and publication recency particularly relevant to local businesses and events.
- Assuming the first hour decides everything: early performance matters, but recommendation and search systems are not simply chronological feeds.
- Giving false precision: an industry claim such as healthcare at 9:17 a.m. implies evidence that most public studies do not provide.
- Optimizing views instead of results: a lower-view finance or product post can create more qualified actions than a broad entertainment post.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is morning or evening better for TikTok?
Neither is universally better. Morning is worth testing for education, finance, professional, and commute-oriented content; evening is a sensible test for entertainment, lifestyle, shopping, and LIVE. Compare both using your audience’s local time and your actual objective.
Should I post before my followers are most active?
Do not treat a precise lead time as a proven rule. Test publishing during the activity peak against publishing shortly before it, while keeping the content and weekday comparable. Early activity can help a good post gain initial viewing, but timing cannot replace relevance or watch time.
Are weekends bad for TikTok?
Not necessarily. Sprout Social reports weaker weekends, while Buffer reports Saturday as its strongest overall day and Sunday at 9 a.m. as its strongest single slot. Test at least one weekend window if your audience has leisure, family, travel, local, or creator-focused behavior.

There is no basis for promising that. TikTok identifies interactions and watch behavior as important recommendation signals, along with video information and user or device information. A good posting time may improve the opportunity for early engagement, but it does not guarantee distribution.
What if my followers live in several countries?
Use the largest-audience region, find a time-zone overlap, or stagger separate posts for strategically important regions. Account for daylight saving, holidays, school calendars, and local events. Review top territories and activity times in TikTok Studio before deciding.
Does TikTok favor scheduled posts over manually published posts?
The supplied evidence does not establish that TikTok favors either method. Scheduling is an operational tool. Choose the method that reliably publishes at the intended audience-local time and allows appropriate monitoring and response.
How long should I test a TikTok posting time?
Test each window at least three times across several weeks, using comparable content. Compare medians rather than one viral outlier, and continue longer if the account has low posting volume or highly variable content.
Should TikTok LIVE use the same schedule as regular videos?
Not automatically. LIVE competes for concurrent attendance and may benefit from a different routine. Metricool reports 6–8 p.m. as a broad LIVE starting window, but test peak concurrent viewers, average watch time, comments, and conversions for your audience.
Do photo and carousel posts need a different posting schedule?
They may. Buffer and Metricool report different typical performance between video and images in their respective datasets, but neither proves a universal image-posting hour. Test photo posts separately and judge saves, shares, search activity, and profile actions as well as views.
What should a new account do without TikTok analytics?
Use Tuesday–Thursday afternoons, weekday evenings, a weekday morning, and one weekend window as a starting matrix. Test each at least three times, record performance at 24 hours and seven days, and move toward the window that repeatedly improves the account’s real goal.
The Bottom Line
Bottom line: begin with Tuesday–Thursday from 2–6 p.m., add a 6–8 p.m. weekday test, and compare a morning and weekend window in the audience’s local time. Treat Buffer, Sprout Social, Metricool, SocialPilot, Hootsuite, and Later as directional evidence—not competing universal truths. After at least three comparable tests per window, let TikTok Studio Analytics and the metric tied to your goal determine the schedule you keep.
