What is the AT&T dividend record date?
The record date is the date AT&T uses to identify the stockholders entitled to a particular declared dividend. AT&T describes payment as going to holders of record at the close of business on that date. Buying shares after the record date does not make you a holder of record for that payment. If you own AT&T through a brokerage, check your account details and the broker’s processing instructions. See AT&T’s stockholder information.
How many shares do I need to qualify?
The cited AT&T materials set no minimum share count. Eligibility turns on being a stockholder of record for the declared dividend; the payment amount depends on the shares eligible for that dividend.

How can I receive an AT&T dividend?
AT&T lists direct deposit and mailed checks as payment routes for shareholders. Its stockholder information says direct-deposit funds are available on the payment date. If a mailed check has not arrived within 10 days after its scheduled payment date, AT&T advises contacting Computershare.
| Payment method | What AT&T says |
|---|---|
| Direct deposit | Funds are available on the payment date. |
| Mailed check | Contact Computershare if the check has not arrived within 10 days after the scheduled date. |

Does AT&T have a dividend reinvestment plan?
AT&T’s current FAQ says the company does not have a direct stock purchase plan and refers dividend and reinvestment questions to Computershare. A separate cost-basis guide uses the historic name DirectSERVICE Investment Program for a former Direct Stock Purchase and Reinvestment Plan. That legacy reference does not establish that new enrollment is available or specify current fees, eligibility, fractional-share treatment, or other terms.
Before changing a dividend setting or attempting to enroll, ask Computershare for current plan terms if your shares are held directly, or ask your broker about its dividend-reinvestment options if the shares are in a brokerage account. AT&T’s FAQ, contact page, and cost-basis guide cover these points.

Is AT&T’s dividend guaranteed?
No. AT&T’s 2026 proxy statement says the board reexamines the dividend annually and expected to maintain an annualized common dividend of $1.11 per share in 2026. That is a 2026 expectation, not a guarantee of future payments or declarations. Read the 2026 proxy statement for the company’s disclosure.
