The post in question is a thread in r/SwagBucks titled New list of search links. It was posted on July 11, 2020. The author collected direct Swagbucks Search URLs containing queries such as Disney Characters, Top Movie Snacks, Signs Of Spring, and virtual safari tours. The post says that many of the links came from an earlier r/FreeStuffGuru list.
Importantly, the author did not present the list as an official Swagbucks promotion. The post expresses a belief that the links might increase the chance of earning SB and acknowledges that the method was debated. - Does the Reddit post exist? Yes.
- Does an individual URL load? Several sampled URLs still do.
- Does a search produce a reward? Not necessarily; Swagbucks says search rewards are random.
- Is mass-opening unrelated searches a safe way to earn? It may conflict with Swagbucks’ published guidance and can create account risk.
Do the old Swagbucks search links still work?
That depends on what “work” means.

These checks verify URL resolution only. They do not verify that a logged-in account receives SB, that the query has a favorable reward probability, or that the link works identically in every country, browser, device, or account.

Working as a reward trigger: unverified
A search page loading successfully is not evidence of a search win. Reward behavior is account-specific and cannot be established by looking at a public URL. The safest current wording is:
Several old URLs still resolve, but their ability to generate a search win is unverified and may vary by account, country, device, browser, timing, and Swagbucks’ current reward system.
Some old links may also eventually become stale, redirect incorrectly, or show a blank page. A 2020 list should not be described as a current database unless every link and its reward behavior has been rechecked—which the available evidence does not establish.
What is a Swagbucks search win?
A search win is a bonus SB award that may appear after using Swagbucks Search. According to Swagbucks’ official Search help page:
- Search rewards are random bonus SB.
- The stated award range is 1 to 1,000 SB per search.
- Search rewards do not count toward the Daily Goal.
“Random” does not prove that every query has exactly identical odds. It does mean there is no official basis for presenting the Reddit phrases as a favored or guaranteed set. You may search several times without receiving anything, and a valid search does not entitle you to a reward.
The old list became popular because users reported occasional wins and, at times, Collector’s Bills after opening particular searches. Those reports can explain why the list was shared, but they do not demonstrate that the phrases caused the rewards.

Do specific keywords increase your chance of winning?
No reliable public evidence in the supplied sources shows that they do. The Reddit post is anecdotal and explicitly notes disagreement about whether the links help. Comments in the thread include both positive and negative experiences: some users said an early link produced a reward, while others said the links stopped working or required many searches.
That is not a controlled comparison. - “Repeating the same query unlocks a reward.”
- “Waiting exactly 5, 15, 20, or 45 seconds guarantees a win.”
- “Switching browsers unlocks a second or third reward.”
- “A social-media click activates the search bonus.”
How many search wins can you get per day?
There is no verified universal current number in the sources reviewed. Older guides and Reddit discussions refer to two or three daily wins, but those historical claims should not be treated as current Swagbucks policy.
Recent community reports are inconsistent. In a September 2025 r/SwagBucks discussion, some U.S. users reported receiving only one 4-SB search win after August 31, 2025, while other commenters said they received two. A 2026 discussion included reports of two daily wins, with one user saying the second sometimes took more than 100 searches.
Those are user reports, not an official announcement. Search-win availability may differ by country, account, device, or active promotion. Do not assume that you are entitled to two or three wins, and do not keep searching indefinitely to chase a historical quota.

What are Collector’s Bills?
Collector’s Bills are themed rewards associated with search wins. Swagbucks says they:
- Appear during holidays and special occasions.
- Are available for limited periods.
- Are recorded in the user’s ledger when earned.
- May provide an additional SB bonus when a themed set is completed.
- Have bonus amounts that vary by collection.
This limited-time structure is one reason users historically circulated seasonal search lists. But a phrase connected with an old promotion does not revive an expired Collector’s Bills event. An old query may load today while having no special relationship to the current promotion—or to any promotion at all.
If Swagbucks is currently displaying an official Collector’s Bills promotion in your account, follow that promotion’s current terms. Do not rely on a 2020 Reddit list to identify active bills.

How to use Swagbucks Search safely now
Swagbucks currently identifies three official ways to search in its guide to the dos and don’ts:
- Use the search bar on Swagbucks.com.
- Visit search.swagbucks.com.
- Set your browser’s search engine to Swagbucks Search, where that option is available.
A sensible, low-risk workflow is:
- Log in to the correct account. Avoid trying to earn through multiple accounts.
- Use an official Search route. A Reddit link can be a shortcut to a query, but it is not an official reward mechanism.
- Search for something you genuinely want to research. This is closer to Swagbucks’ instruction to search as you would on another search engine.
- Let the page load normally. Do not rapidly open a long queue of unrelated links.
- Check your ledger if a reward appears. The search page itself is not proof that SB was credited.
- Stop if you see an unusual-activity warning, error, or restriction. Do not attempt to work around it.
Swagbucks specifically warns against searching only to win SB, clicking links that are not genuinely interesting, and using bots, auto-search programs, or other software designed to manipulate activity. It also says that unnatural searching or clicking can lead to account deactivation.
Is mass-clicking the old Reddit list allowed?
Swagbucks does not appear in the reviewed sources to say specifically that “Reddit search-link lists” are prohibited by name. The relevant issue is the behavior they may encourage.
Opening dozens of unrelated searches solely to trigger a reward can be difficult to reconcile with Swagbucks’ published guidance to search naturally and not search only for SB. Automation, macros, browser scripts, cookie manipulation, browser rotation, and attempts to bypass limits create an even clearer risk. Swagbucks lists unnatural searching or clicking and multiple accounts among possible reasons for deactivation in its account-deactivation guidance.

Swagbucks’ general troubleshooting guidance recommends clearing cache and cookies, trying another supported browser such as Chrome or Firefox, disabling problematic extensions, updating the browser or app, and retrying later if the problem is temporary. These steps can address site access problems, but they do not guarantee a search reward.
The search feature is missing or behaves differently
Do not assume that every country, account, app version, and website session exposes identical Search functionality. Recent regional reports are anecdotal. Try the official website Search routes first; if the feature remains unavailable, contact support rather than relying on third-party lists or workarounds.
A reward appears but the balance does not update
Record the date, query, visible reward message, and account ledger entry if available. Avoid repeated clicking while waiting. Then contact Swagbucks support through the official help system with the relevant evidence.
The account is warned, restricted, or deactivated
Stop searching and contact Swagbucks support. Do not create another account, manipulate cookies or browser settings, use automation, or attempt to bypass the restriction.
