What it does
DePay provides no-code payment links for products, services, donations and content. Customers pay from crypto wallets, and funds go directly to the seller’s configured wallet.
A link may use a fiat price converted at visit time or a crypto amount set for each accepted currency. Sellers can choose receivable tokens, collect customer details, apply discounts and unlock content after payment.
Fees and plans
The Open Source option costs nothing and carries no transaction charge. It supplies open-source tools while leaving out platform features.
Standard is $1.50 per month with a flat 1.5% fee on transactions. The plan permits two Payment Links; Shopify, WooCommerce, WordPress and Checkout each have one-link limits, managed integrations are capped at two, and API access is unavailable.
Pro is also $1.50 monthly and applies a 1.5% transaction fee. DePay lists an unlock route using 1,000 DEPAY tokens or a single Pro NFT. The plan covers the full platform, states no feature cap, and provides 20 DEPAY for a one-month trial.
Enterprise has request-based pricing. DePay labels it coming soon and advertises volume rates starting as low as 0.5%, with unlimited features governed by a Fair Use Policy. Pro and Enterprise both show unlimited Payment Links under that policy.
Where it runs
DePay lists web, API and self-hosted platforms. Its public JavaScript packages include web3-payments plus EVM- and Solana-specific packages. The public repository carries an MIT licence and gives Yarn and npm setup instructions.
Payment Links need no coding. A Button uses an HTML snippet without JavaScript knowledge, while Widgets are self-hosted in a merchant site or app and offer more control. The API supports tracking, validation and callbacks across multiple blockchains.
Its documentation names Solana, World Chain, Gnosis, Polygon, Avalanche, BNB Smart Chain, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base and Ethereum. Listed wallet options include MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Phantom, World App, Trust Wallet, Ledger Live and over 100 others.
Protection, as published
DePay characterizes the payment flow as peer-to-peer and non-custodial. According to its description, settlement goes straight to the seller wallet rather than being retained by an intermediary.
Its checks cover where a payment came from, its recipient, whether the transaction is unique, the token and the amount. For sums over $1,000, blockchain-specific finality thresholds are used unless a different setting is selected.
Callbacks after validated payments can be signed with RSA-PSS/SHA-256 in an x-signature header. The published facts do not state a licence, regulator, deposit protection, two-factor sign-in or a dispute process.
Strengths
Payment Links support either fiat or crypto amounts, convert prices in real time, limit accepted tokens and use DeFi routing to deliver the seller’s selected receivable token.
Checkout fields can include a name, email, shipping address, country and quantity. Sellers can adjust colors and redirects, email confirmations, offer code or ownership-based discounts, and issue signed callbacks.
Shopify, WooCommerce and WordPress plugins, managed integrations, APIs and self-hosting give several implementation paths.
Catches
Accepted tokens depend on configured blockchains, liquidity and exchange pairs. DePay says a token generally needs a supported decentralized-exchange pair and at least $20,000 in combined base-token and token liquidity; it states that more than 10,000 tokens qualify subject to those conditions.
Standard limits links and several integrations, and excludes API access. API applications require an API key and access token, while issuing and maintaining an API key requires an active DePay PRO subscription.
The facts list 160 currencies, but they do not identify countries served, phone apps, minimum payments or additional holds. Enterprise is marked coming soon, and unlimited links remain subject to Fair Use.
Who should skip it
DePay may not fit a seller seeking card payments, a conventional hosted checkout, or a stated country-by-country service list. Its published plans and tools center on blockchain wallets, tokens and merchant integrations.
Verdict
DePay suits merchants that already work with crypto wallets and want links, self-hosted widgets, callbacks or API automation. The free Open Source plan removes transaction fees but leaves out platform features; paid plans add those features while charging per transaction.
Its fit is weaker for businesses that need card rails, mobile apps, explicit regulatory or deposit-protection statements, or a simple all-in-one hosted service. Token liquidity rules, blockchain finality checks and Standard’s limits are central conditions to review.
