AI Visibility Tools 2026: Which Fits—SixthShop, Profound or Writesonic?

There is no proven overall winner among SixthShop, Profound and Writesonic. They are built around different jobs: SixthShop focuses on ecommerce product pages and AI shopping visibility, Profound on enterprise brand and answer-engine intelligence, and Writesonic on AI-visibility tracking bundled with content production and SEO audits. Choose the workflow that matches your business, then validate coverage and usefulness with your own prompts, markets and products before committing to a recurring bill.

Quick answer

The right choice depends on what you need to change after an AI system gives an answer about your business.

What an AI visibility tool actually does

Traditional search reporting tells you where a page appears in a list of links. AI visibility products instead sample questions in answer engines and report whether your brand, products or competitors are mentioned, cited or described. The useful question is not simply whether a dashboard shows a high score; it is whether the data leads to an action you can verify in your own analytics.

Visibility and citation measures

A platform may record how often an answer mentions your brand, which pages are cited, how prominently a competitor appears, and whether the answer’s tone is favorable or unfavorable. Citation share can be more actionable than a single visibility percentage because it identifies the sources an answer engine is using. The tools in this comparison describe these measures differently, so scores from one platform should not be treated as interchangeable with scores from another.

Prompt and answer sampling

Every platform has to decide which questions to run, how often to rerun them and which answer engines to query. Coverage can vary by engine, country, language, device context and plan. A small allowance may be enough for a pilot but too narrow for a catalogue with thousands of products or a multinational brand. Ask for the number of prompts, answers, reruns and historical snapshots included before comparing monthly prices.

From measurement to work

Some products stop at reporting. Others suggest content changes, technical fixes, structured-data improvements or product-page edits. Profound describes automated content workflows; SixthShop describes product audits, recommendations and JSON-LD generation; Writesonic bundles visibility tracking with article creation and site audits. Those labels do not prove that a recommendation will improve your results. They indicate where each vendor expects the work to happen.

SixthShop: the product-level ecommerce option

SixthShop is the clearest fit when the unit you need to improve is an ecommerce product listing rather than a broad corporate reputation. Its vendor material centers on product audits and AI Shopping Visibility scoring, with recommendations intended to make product information easier for shopping assistants to understand.

What the plans cost

Plan Monthly price shown Analyses per month shown
Free $0/month 10
Starter $29/month 25
Growth $59/month 75
Pro $99/month 150

The figures above are the current snapshot described on SixthShop’s pricing page. They are recurring monthly prices as displayed there, not a calculation of annual discounts or implementation costs. The page also describes higher-tier capabilities, but the reviewed material does not assign every feature to a specific plan.

Capabilities that matter to a store

  • Product audits: Use an audit to find missing or unclear information on an individual listing.
  • AI Shopping Visibility scoring: A product-level score gives a store a repeatable way to monitor assistant-facing presentation, provided the same products and questions are measured over time.
  • Optimization recommendations: Recommendations can turn a visibility observation into edits for titles, descriptions or other listing content. Treat them as proposals to review, not automatic proof of future sales.
  • JSON-LD generation: Structured product data can make attributes such as price, availability and product identity more legible to software that parses a page. Validate generated markup on your site before publishing it.
  • Competitor benchmarking: Comparing products or rival listings can show where an answer engine is drawing distinctions, although the vendor material does not establish that the resulting benchmark predicts market share.

When SixthShop is a sensible first trial

Start here if your team can name the products that matter most, has authority to edit product pages and wants a relatively low-cost way to test an ecommerce-specific workflow. The Free and Starter allowances can support a small catalogue or a limited set of priority products. A larger catalogue may require Growth or Pro, and the analysis allowance—not just the subscription price—determines how much of the catalogue you can monitor each month.

Questions to ask before paying

  • What counts as one analysis, and does rerunning the same product consume another allowance?
  • Which shopping assistants, countries and languages are included in each plan?
  • Can you export audit findings and scores for your team or agency?
  • How are product variants, out-of-stock items and changes in price handled?
  • Does JSON-LD generation cover your ecommerce platform’s required fields, and how are errors surfaced?

SixthShop also publishes a February 2026 comparison that positions itself as the Shopify AI shopping visibility choice, Profound as brand monitoring and Writesonic as content creation with AI visibility optimization. That is useful evidence of how SixthShop defines the market, but it is a vendor-authored comparison rather than an independent test.

Profound: broader brand and answer-engine intelligence

Profound is aimed at teams that need to understand how a brand appears across answer engines and why. Its features page describes visibility monitoring, citation analysis, sentiment, competitive benchmarking, prompt-volume research, AI crawler monitoring, AI traffic attribution and content workflows.

What the platform is designed to answer

  • Demand: Prompt-volume research is intended to show which questions people are asking, rather than limiting monitoring to a list created by a marketer.
  • Presence: Visibility tracking records whether and how a brand appears in generated answers.
  • Source choice: Citation analysis identifies the pages or domains an answer engine uses as evidence.
  • Reputation: Sentiment tracking and competitive benchmarking help a brand see how descriptions differ from those of rivals.
  • Technical access: AI crawler monitoring focuses on automated visits that may precede inclusion in answer systems.
  • Business impact: AI traffic attribution attempts to connect answer-engine exposure with visits or other downstream activity.
  • Execution: Automated content workflows are intended to move from an insight to a publishing task.

Profound describes its product as showing how AI mentions a brand, analyzing sentiment and benchmarking competitors. That sentence is a product description, not independent evidence that a particular score causes more traffic or revenue.

Trial and enterprise packaging

The public pricing page describes a seven-day free trial with 50 prompts run daily across ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. It also describes custom enterprise packages with tailored prompt tracking and coverage of up to nine answer engines. No standard paid enterprise price is stated on that page, so a direct price-per-prompt comparison with the other tools would be misleading.

Before requesting a quote, specify the engines, markets, languages, historical period, number of brands, users and integrations you need. Ask the sales team to put each entitlement in writing. A custom package can be economical for a large program, but it is difficult to evaluate from a headline price when the scope is still undefined.

The 1.3B-plus conversation claim

Profound’s features page says that more than 1.3 billion real user conversations inform its view of audiences, brands and content. This is Profound’s own product claim; the reviewed page does not independently validate the figure or explain a reproducible methodology. Treat it as a description of the vendor’s data asset, not as a neutral market statistic.

When Profound deserves evaluation

Evaluate Profound when the problem spans many products, a corporate brand, several competitors and multiple answer engines, and when you need attribution or crawler data in addition to simple mention tracking. It is also the most natural candidate of the three for an enterprise team that wants prompt-demand discovery and a content workflow in one system. The trade-off is procurement uncertainty: the public page gives a trial but not a standard paid price.

Writesonic: visibility tracking bundled with content and SEO

Writesonic combines AI visibility monitoring with tools for producing content and auditing a site. Its lower tiers list tracking for ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. The same pricing page describes quotas for prompts and daily answers, AI articles and site audits, with additional capabilities at higher tiers.

Displayed plan prices

Plan Price shown Billing qualification Related capabilities described
Starter $79/month Billed annually AI visibility tracking in the lower-tier offering, with prompt and answer limits; content and audit quotas apply by plan.
Basic $199/month Billed annually Expanded quotas and features compared with lower tiers; exact limits should be checked on the live pricing page.
Growth $399/month Billed annually Higher-tier visibility, content and site-audit allowances as described by the vendor.

The page reviewed for this article did not provide a single quota that applies to all three plans in every market, so do not assume that a displayed price includes unlimited prompts, answers, articles or audits. Confirm the current billing basis and usage caps at purchase time.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Who benefits from the bundle

Writesonic is a practical candidate when the same team is responsible for measuring AI answers, drafting articles and maintaining technical SEO. Instead of exporting a visibility finding to a separate writing system, a marketer can investigate a prompt, create or revise content and run a site audit in one environment. That convenience is valuable only if the included tracking volume matches your monitoring plan; a content-heavy subscription is not automatically good value for a team that only needs a small number of visibility checks.

Questions to resolve during a trial

  • How many prompts can be stored and how many answers are collected each day on the exact plan you would buy?
  • Are ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews available in your target countries and languages, or only in selected configurations?
  • Do article and site-audit quotas reset monthly, and what happens when you exceed them?
  • Can your editors approve generated content before publication and retain a record of changes?
  • Can visibility findings be exported to the analytics or project-management tools your team already uses?

Compare the three by the work you need to fund

Decision axis SixthShop Profound Writesonic
Primary job Product listing optimization and shopping visibility Brand and answer-engine intelligence Visibility tracking combined with content and SEO
Measurement emphasis Product audits, scoring and competitor benchmarking Prompts, visibility, citations, sentiment, crawler activity and traffic attribution Prompt and daily-answer tracking alongside content and site-audit quotas
Implementation emphasis Product-page recommendations and JSON-LD generation Automated content workflows and insight across brand, technical and traffic signals AI article creation and site audits connected to visibility work
Public entry point Free plan with 10 analyses per month Seven-day trial with 50 prompts daily Paid plans shown from $79/month when billed annually
Pricing transparency Four monthly prices shown Enterprise price is custom on the public page Three annual-billing prices shown, with plan-specific quotas

The table compares positioning and published packaging, not performance. A tool can report more signals and still be less useful if its coverage does not match your market or if your team cannot act on the findings.

How to choose without buying the wrong subscription

1. Define the object you are trying to improve

Write down whether the object is an individual product, a category, a corporate brand, a local market or a content library. Product-level diagnosis points toward SixthShop. Brand-wide monitoring and demand discovery point toward Profound. A mixed content-and-SEO workflow points toward Writesonic.

2. Set a minimum coverage requirement

List the answer engines, countries, languages, competitors and prompt families that matter. Include branded questions, category questions and comparison questions. Reject a plan that cannot sample the minimum set, even if its monthly price looks attractive.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

3. Calculate usage before comparing prices

Estimate the number of prompts or products, the number of reruns per month and the number of people who need access. For SixthShop, divide the catalogue you actually need to monitor by the plan’s analyses per month. For Profound, put the required prompt volume and engine count into the quote request. For Writesonic, model prompts, daily answers, articles and audits separately because one quota may not substitute for another.

4. Price the work around the software

Budget for implementation time, editorial review, developer changes to structured data, analytics configuration and periodic QA. A $29 subscription that nobody uses is more expensive than a higher-priced plan that produces verified improvements, while a large enterprise contract can be wasteful if the team only needs a few dozen monthly checks.

5. Decide what evidence would justify renewal

Choose two or three measurable outcomes before the trial: for example, more target prompts containing a correct product attribute, a higher share of citations from preferred pages, or attributable visits from answer-engine referrals. Do not use a vendor’s score as the sole renewal criterion.

A fair trial protocol for all three tools

The vendors do not provide an independent head-to-head effectiveness study, so a controlled internal trial is the safest way to compare workflow fit. The following process is a measurement plan, not a claim that any tool will produce a particular lift.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  1. Freeze the scope. Select the same products, brand, competitors, countries, languages and answer engines for every platform.
  2. Build one prompt set. Include navigational questions about your brand, category questions, product-selection questions, comparison questions and problem-solving questions. Keep the wording and capitalization identical where the platforms allow it.
  3. Record a baseline. Save each answer, mention, citation, sentiment label, competitor reference and answer date. Note whether the answer contains a factual error.
  4. Map each finding to an action. Classify recommendations as product-page edits, structured-data changes, technical fixes, off-page or editorial work, or items requiring no action.
  5. Implement a small, documented batch. Change a defined group of pages while leaving a comparable group unchanged when practical. Record publication dates and exactly what changed.
  6. Rerun the same prompts. Use the same market and time window as far as the product permits. AI answers can vary, so retain multiple observations instead of treating one response as definitive.
  7. Check downstream evidence. Compare server logs, analytics referrals, branded-search behavior and conversions where those data are available. A visibility movement without a business signal may still be useful, but it should not be called revenue impact.
  8. Score operational fit. Rate setup time, data export, collaboration, recommendation quality, support and the amount of manual work required. Record usage against each plan’s limits.
  9. Make a renewal decision. Renew only if the tool covers the required prompts and produces actions your team can complete and verify at a cost you can defend.

Budgeting and total-cost questions

Subscription price is only one line in an AI visibility budget. Include the labor required to design prompts, inspect answers, correct product data, approve generated copy, deploy technical changes and maintain historical comparisons.

For a small ecommerce operation

SixthShop’s Free plan can provide a limited proof of concept at 10 analyses per month. Starter raises that allowance to 25 analyses for $29 per month, Growth to 75 for $59, and Pro to 150 for $99, according to the reviewed pricing page. Compare the allowance with the number of priority products and the frequency you need; do not multiply the plan price by catalogue size without checking what an analysis represents.

For an enterprise brand

Profound’s trial offers a defined seven-day window and 50 daily prompts across three named engines. The paid package is custom, so ask for a written breakdown of prompt volume, engines, regions, languages, historical retention, seats, exports and support. The quote should also state overage rules and renewal terms.

For a content-led team

Writesonic’s displayed annual-billing prices are $79, $199 and $399 per month for Starter, Basic and Growth. Evaluate the value of the content and audit allowances separately from visibility tracking. If your team already has an editorial system, paying for bundled writing features may not be efficient; if it needs both, consolidation can reduce tool switching.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

What the evidence can—and cannot—prove

The available product, pricing and comparison pages are vendor-authored. SixthShop’s ranking of the three tools reflects its own commercial perspective. The reviewed material does not include a neutral, reproducible head-to-head test, an independent study or a common dataset showing which platform improves AI answer inclusion, rankings, traffic or sales.

A visibility score is therefore a measurement produced by a product, not proof of causal lift. Success stories and aggregate figures should be treated as claims to investigate. Ask how a score is calculated, how often prompts are refreshed, whether answers are sampled consistently and how false positives are handled. Keep your own raw answers so that a change in the vendor’s methodology does not look like a change in your performance.

Final decision guide

  • Choose SixthShop first when your immediate work is ecommerce product diagnosis, structured product data and shopping-assistant visibility, and one of its monthly analysis allowances covers the catalogue you actually need to monitor.
  • Evaluate Profound first when you need broad brand visibility, citation and prompt-demand intelligence, crawler or traffic analysis and enterprise content workflows. Obtain a quote because the public page does not state a standard paid price.
  • Evaluate Writesonic first when your team wants AI visibility tracking in the same subscription as article production and SEO site audits, and its annual-billing price and prompt, answer, article and audit quotas fit the workload.

Whichever platform you test, keep the comparison fair: use identical prompts, markets, languages, competitors and dates, then verify whether the recommended changes produce a meaningful business signal. That process is more reliable than accepting any vendor’s leaderboard as a universal ranking.
