Apple CEO Tim Cook, Amazon CEO Andy Jassy and AMD CEO Lisa Su were among roughly 70 guests at a private White House screening and dinner for Melania on Saturday, January 24, 2026. The invitation-only event took place in the East Room and was separate from the film’s public premiere and theatrical release.
The guest list was reported by The Hollywood Reporter, as reproduced by Yahoo; the White House has not published a complete official roster.

The private White House screening should not be confused with the film’s public Washington premiere, reported separately around January 29, or its January 30 theatrical release.

Reports have described Amazon’s financing or rights arrangement in conflicting terms, with figures ranging from approximately $40 million to $75 million. Neither figure should be treated as settled without a contract, filing or explicit confirmation from Amazon.

For Cook and Su, the available reporting does not identify a comparable business connection to the film. Their presence may have reflected personal interest, invitation diplomacy, relationship-building or ordinary participation in a high-profile social event, but the evidence does not establish a particular motive.
