The 256GB, unlocked Pixel 10 Pro Fold was reported at $1,198.99 from Best Buy in “excellent” open-box condition, versus a reported $1,700 list price. The cited listing stated that the unit included a one-year warranty. It was offered in Moonstone, and the original coverage warned that shoppers might need to use a mobile browser, add the unlocked phone to the cart, and complete checkout there.

That price was approximately $600 below the list price, but the more meaningful comparison was with the reported $1,499 new-condition Amazon price for the 256GB model. The open-box offer therefore saved about $300 against the cited new alternative—not $600 against an equivalent new phone. A 512GB Amazon version was reported at $1,619, although seller and condition should always be checked.
“Excellent” was Best Buy’s condition grade, not a guarantee that the phone had never been handled. Open-box buyers should immediately inspect the hinge, inner and outer displays, cameras, charging port, speakers, frame, and battery behavior. Confirm that the phone is unlocked, matches the advertised storage and color, includes the stated accessories, and is covered by the advertised return policy and warranty. Keep all packaging until the inspection is complete.
The deal made sense for someone specifically seeking a foldable and willing to accept greater repair and durability risk than with a conventional phone. It was less attractive for buyers who wanted a predictable new-device purchase or who would be financially strained by an expensive screen or hinge repair. The linked offer is now expired; do not treat $1,198.99 as a current price.
Galaxy Tab S10 FE+: the best mainstream value
The 13.1-inch Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ was reported at $500, down from a $650 list price, with the same historical price reported at Amazon but fewer color choices. The smaller 10.9-inch Galaxy Tab S10 FE was listed at $400 versus $500.

The FE+ was the better value for buyers who wanted a large screen for streaming, split-screen work, handwritten notes, school documents, or casual productivity. Its size is also its limitation: it is better suited to a desk, lap, or keyboard setup than to one-handed reading or travel. The regular FE is the more sensible choice when portability and the $100 saving matter more than screen area.
The cited coverage highlighted an S Pen, 90Hz display, IP68 water resistance, Circle to Search, Handwriting Assist, and Math Solver. Those features are most relevant to students, note-takers, and Samsung users who already rely on Galaxy-device integration. The tablet deal was reportedly Wi-Fi-only, so buyers needing mobile data should verify the exact SKU before ordering.
Samsung also advertised 30% off the Book Cover Keyboard Slim when bundled through Samsung. That can materially improve the FE+’s value for light typing, but it does not turn the tablet into a full Windows-laptop replacement. Bundle discounts and accessory inventory may disappear before the tablet’s headline price does.
Which Samsung tablet should you choose?
- Tab S10 FE+: choose it for the largest display, notes, media, and light productivity.
- Tab S10 FE: choose it when a smaller 10.9-inch tablet is easier to carry and $400 is preferable.
- Tab A11+: the roundup listed it from $210 for budget-first browsing and entertainment.
- Tab S10 Lite: the roundup listed it from $280 as another lower-cost Samsung option.
Check storage, color, connectivity, S Pen inclusion, and accessory contents because retailer listings can differ even when product names look similar.

Yale Google Smart Lock with Matter: a good Google Home fit, not a universal shortcut
The discounted product was the 2025 Yale Smart Lock with Matter, model YRD510-MT1. The Snow finish was reported at $135.99 or about $136, down from a $190 list price. Ash was $143, while Matte Black was $170. The lowest price was therefore finish-specific.
The lock supports Google Home control, custom entry codes, app and voice control through Google Assistant, keypad entry, and a physical key. The listing identifies Matter over Thread and says the lock replaces standard deadbolts on most U.S. and Canadian doors. It also lists ANSI/BHMA Grade 2 certification and local storage of access codes; those are manufacturer or retailer-listing claims, not independent security-test results.
Remote access requires a Matter-enabled hub. Matter improves interoperability, but it does not mean every controller exposes exactly the same features. Google Home, Alexa, Apple Home, and SmartThings may differ in setup, remote control, automations, and voice functionality. The lock is most compelling for a household already invested in Google Home or Nest hardware.
Check the door before buying
Before ordering, verify the existing deadbolt format, door thickness, backset, bore-hole size, interior clearance, and whether the door closes and latches cleanly. Renters may be unable to replace the lock without permission. Nonstandard frames, metal doors, unusual deadbolts, or a door that already sticks can make installation unsuitable.
Plan for failure scenarios: batteries can run down, a phone can be unavailable, Wi-Fi or the Matter hub can go offline, and a smart-home service can have an outage. The physical key and keypad provide backup access, but buyers should keep the key accessible and establish a battery-replacement routine. Compared with products such as Yale Assure Lock 2, Level Lock+, Aqara, and other Matter-capable locks, the right choice depends on door fit, ecosystem support, and preferred unlocking method—not just the sale price.

The Acer Chromebook Plus Spin 514 was reported at $479 versus a typical $700 price. The cited configuration included 12GB of RAM, a 256GB SSD, a touchscreen, Wi-Fi 7, and MediaTek Kompanio Ultra hardware, along with a one-year Google AI Pro promotion.
There is an important configuration issue: the coverage described a 14-inch 2.8K touchscreen in one place and a 14-inch WUXGA 1,920-by-1,200 display elsewhere. Buyers should verify the exact retailer SKU and Acer specification page before relying on either resolution. Do not publish a product card or purchase link without matching the configuration.

The Kompanio Ultra platform is ARM-based. That can be a good fit for ChromeOS browsing, Google Workspace, streaming, Android applications, and light Linux use. It deserves more caution if you depend on Windows-only applications, specialist peripherals, enterprise tools, demanding creative software, or x86-specific Linux programs. A similarly priced Windows laptop may be more flexible for those tasks, even if ChromeOS is simpler and often easier to maintain.

“Chromebook Plus” signals a higher minimum hardware and software tier than basic Chromebooks, but it does not provide Windows compatibility. The included Google AI Pro subscription was a promotion, not a permanent hardware feature. Its redemption deadline and any post-promotion price should be verified from the live offer before treating it as part of the device’s long-term value.

These prices were also historical observations, not confirmation of current inventory. Amazon prices can change by seller, fulfillment method, condition, color, storage, and membership status. Samsung and other retailers may also separate cash discounts from trade-in promotions.
How to judge a similar deal when prices return
- Match the condition. Compare new with new and open-box with open-box. Read the retailer’s grading, warranty, return, and restocking terms.
- Match the exact configuration. Confirm storage, screen size, resolution, connectivity, color, processor, RAM, and included accessories.
- Calculate effective value. A large nominal discount may not beat a smaller discount on a new product with lower repair or compatibility risk.
- Check the checkout path. For phones, confirm unlocked status and make sure the purchase does not silently switch to carrier activation or financing.
- Check compatibility first. Smart locks require a suitable door and hub; Chromebooks require compatible software; tablets may not replace a laptop.
- Verify the final price at checkout. Include tax, shipping, membership requirements, accessory costs, and promotional expiration dates.
